Topic: Synchronicity

Is synchronity made by our own mind or is it something coming from 'another source' that  we can open up to and notice ?

I know someone who strongly believed that she would be dead in a few months.

She tried to commit suicide but luckily survived.

During the time before she saw passing funeral cars very often.  She saw it as signs from a higher intelligence-god- ...

Is this what she attracted into her life by her own thoughts ?

Or was it that she was 'open' enough to see the 'signs' ?

Someone has some explantion on this ?

Re: Synchronicity

I have two things to say on this right now.

One is that if one is truly and utterly convinced something will happen or something is a certain thing...chances are they will "make" it happen or attract the inevitability of it...or something similar.  That is.. if a person is absolutely convinced they are demonically possessed...chances are they will act their version of it.  Also if a person is similarly convinced they are possessed by an angelic being they will act their version of it as well...and in all true senses of the word be actually possessed...however, not necessarily possessed by an entity but by themselves.

To me there is a fine line with such things  as synchronicity.  There are times when the Universe ..whatever is within it, will be showing you things you need to pay attention to.  These things are always there but as you become aware of things some seem to stand out more.

It's like...let's say you just buy a red corvette...you suddenly notice there are a bunch of people with the same red corvette.  You get a green truck..and suddenly all you seem to see are other green trucks.  Let's say you need to solve a problem...suddenly you either will see a bunch of things leading up to its solution...or you may simply notice more and more the problem appearing seemingly everywhere.

Is it some dude in the clouds orchestrating it all and trying to get a message to us?  My belief is no.  Is it our innate ability to be able to notice, grasp and learn from what the Universe has to offer?  Yes, that is what I believe.

When you truly open yourself up to what the Universe and all it holds...possibilities are limitless and endless.

Re: Synchronicity

Synchronicity is an acausal event, yet a level of subjective emotional energy appears, from my experience, to create conditions conducive for its manifestation.  In a state of being where the conscious and the unconscious are in transcendent exchange, a growth in awareness seems to parallel these paranormal occurances. We may artificially attribute meaning to these events due to their unique impact on subject, yet these objects may have little corresponding psychic element. What increases the meaningfulness to us meets with both psychic energy and mathematical probability.  "Green trucks and red corvettes" may or may not have significance, although the awareness may follow a much more important message communicated from the unconscious to the conscious at a remarkable coincidental moment. These "creative acts in time" mark greater growth towards, and communion with, external energies that manifest into these three spacial and one dimension of time, that we call our reality.

The psychic element joined with numinous affectations that accompany the phenomenon of synchronicity may be the best indication of divine presence.  World objects may represent artifacts of an effect in a deeper marriage between conscious awareness and the revealing of unknown contents. Be aware, be open, be curious, and be careful; for the universe may not reflect what it seems at first to be.

Re: Synchronicity

I felt a lot of tension and a headache today...the coherence indicator on Montalk's Indicator page http://montalk.net/indicators.php was bright red, and the magnetic field unsettled...when filiing up my car got this on the receipt:

Anyone with something unusual today?

Re: Synchronicity

Yes, coincidentally I do have a synchronicity to tell. I received this today from someone at my local coffee/tea shop via a posting on another message board in the "spirituality" forum". An antagonist who has been rather curious about witnessed occurances of these events in the tea shop, and more than mildly annoyed by me bringing up the topic when they were happening.  This is one of the people I mentioned in a thread in the NR "walk the walk" forum, so if you are one of these people I would ask that you come forth and be honest with the forum members here; if not, then nevermind.  I would prefer that this synchronicity be a clean story (pardon the humour) without Hooliganism. wink

And yeah, synchronicity is totally for jerks. It undermines people who've actually discovered connections that are genuinely causal or of note to have some doombrained lummox insisting that because OMG the number 3 came up OMG 3 times on OMG the 3rd of March that they're Albert f*cking Einstein.

I've just noticed a synchronicity; and I think it is more than just a coincidence or a cause and effect.

It is: Everytime I masturbate, god apparently kills a kitten.

However, since every uncomfortable thing I see in Sophy_ is merely but an uncomfortable deep aspect of myself I have subconsciously repressed---- I must rephrase that and project that to now verbalise this synchronicity as :

Everytime careless carpingter aphoristically masturbates (that's frequent--oh no !) god kills a kitten and Rancheria buries the two little kitties, his and Sophy's in the Witch of the West's two bare holes in the two planter boxes where Sophy_s fucken poppies were exorcised out. The homeless witness it from behind the redwood tree on foggy nights. Sophy_ is nice to the homeless; Rancheria is brutal to them. But two kitties die, nonetheless.

"The Kitten Killings and masturbations we see in our lives may be created by our own circle jerks and enrichenings of our kids into total tops' asses."

Note: this is not original quotes by the carefulcarpenter, but made-up by the poster in efforts to ridicule me and the subject of synchronicity. My user name on that board is "Sophia_".

I never look at it this way, but maybe kittens are harmed synchronistically when people of the dark side masturbate. Personally I have never had a synchronicity involving the subject.  I have recently had gas receipts preceeded by a precognition that were similar, and it gave me a good feeling when it happened; of course when gas is 3.33 and you fill up a volvo to 10 exact gallons it isn't huge odds, but when I thought ahead of time and the pump shut off on its own--that's when it gets really weird!!  This happened about 4 weeks ago to me.

Some people will ridicule what they don't understand, so I thought you would be interested in how some people react to the mentioning in public about acausal psychic/physical alignments  and other paranormal events.

Re: Synchronicity

It does get quite weird. Needless to say, I did not do it on purpose, simply filled up, so it shut down on its own when it was full. (Anyway, I think there is no one who have reflexes fast enough to bring up  3 pre-planned digits after the decimal point.)

Re: Synchronicity

I have some things to say on this that I have found to make sense and quite frankly scare me.  It seems like us anticipating or focusing on something, and the impending inevitability of something may be one and the same.  It seems to me that both focusing  on something may indeed lead it to happen, but at the same time it is simultaneously true that you believe something will happen because it is true.  You have to go beyond the limitations of human thinking for a moment to understand it.  The paradox exists that all possible actions in the universe exist and the future is already written, yet you still have a choice.  Everything is an illusion, including choice, but the illusion is so good that you as a human will never be able to tell the difference between the fact that what will happen is inevitable yet everything works out so perfectly it seems that there is no way that you did not have the capability to make a choice.  So live your life as if your choices and focus and intention do effect the future, because the sooner you do the sooner you will see your intention manifest.

For instance if you read this and decide that you do have a choice, and decide to change your life based on it, it will seem that you truly did make the choice and effect the future with your decision.  Yet everything was already written, including your choice.  Another thing that is written, your choice on whether you will see a future set in stone as futile, or you will sit back and enjoy the illusion that you really do have a choice.  It is designed well enough that you cannot tell the difference.  So was it written already that you will make choices that lead to a more positive future or more negative?  The choice is yours... you decide?
