What's even more funny is that you have issues with Suze.....most people would take issue with Gollum!!!  big_smile big_smile

Hehe, the irony.

But really, who would go out and buy those books? They must be thinking..

Re: Red Flags of Mis or Dis-information

I actually know a guy--from work--who was reading the Ann Coulter book How to Talk to a Liberal: If You Have To.

He's the most politically charged, anti-empathetic, Mormon, slogan-throwing dude I've ever met.  He offends the conservatives with his conservativeness.  And I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm a Commie panty-waist.

He reads books like Ann Coulter's non-stop and listens to conservative radio talk-shows--like Michael Reagan, Sean Hannity, etc.--on his breaks.  Every man in his family is military except for him.

He parrots whatever the Republican pundits say and it's obvious he's doing it because his voice changes and I can feel the record spinning in his head.

He used to daily intentionally provoke me, but stopped after I think he decided I was a hopeless case and because I rarely got riled--I just kept asking him to feel the other point of view.

My current favorite quote from him was from last night.  It was in response to the new TV version of the "10 Commandments."  He was angry that the writers "changed" the "Thou shalts" to "You will's".  ("What kind of jackball production is this!  'You will?!'  Everybody knows it's 'Thou shalt!')  I thought about telling him that the "thou" and "shalt" is probably Middle English and was added in the King James version of the Bible, but decided it would be a waste of energy.

Anyway...!  I bring all this up because I realized a key feature of mis/disinformation seems to be that it's addictive.

I bet people who are into Ann Coulter, are into Ann Coulter and own all her books.  I'm sure it isn't true all around, but it's a pattern I'm seeing.

People who are into the Seth material seem to own every frickin' Seth book there is.

And on and on.

If it's true, why is it addictive?  Because of the emotional charge?  The ego-boost?

That's interesting.....I got the same impression about Ann Coulter, that there's a record spinning in her head.  Like she's been seriously, SERIOUSLY programmed.

The clincher for me was hearing this absolutely awesome, kick ass interview between her and Alex Jones.  Alex RAKED HER OVER THE COALS.  It was HYSTERICAL!!!  big_smile  She had no idea who he was apparently when she agreed to appear on his show.   Her mistake!

http://www.prisonplanet.com/coulter_07_10_03.mp3

An absolute must listen for anybody who's even remotely curious about this whole thing.   This interview was posted in a thread I started awhile back regarding Ann Coulter, Michael Moore, liberal/conservative and the two polar opposite (distraction) views we're given to choose from in this country:

http://forum.noblerealms.org/viewtopic.php?id=767

There isn't anything I could say here about Ann Coulter that I really didn't say in this other thread, so I'll just post the link and let it speak for me here.  smile  But yeah, this woman is definitely programmed, and you can totally tell when Alex is interviewing her too.

haha   That's funny.  If somebody acts like a robotic broken record spouting views that aren't even their own, and can't even see the lack of logic in criticizing the English being changed in the 10 commandments when it was actually originally in Hebrew, then you know.....total waste of time in explaining ANYTHING to them.  You're right to just ignore it and walk away.  Not worth your time or energy.

Well.........not necessarily I don't think.   I'd almost venture as far as to say that most times, these people are empty shells.  They lack their own identity.   Whether they get their identity from Ann Coulter, Michael Moore, or New Age material, it doesn't matter, it's all the same.  It's an identity to latch onto, something to align themselves with, something they can follow.  It becomes a hobby for an empty life that lacks its own self-created purpose.

The kicker is, often times like in the case of Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh and such, they're following people who are programmed robot puppets themselves.  !   It's robots following robots!   Eeek!

That makes a lot of sense.  It isn't so much that they're getting an ego boost as borrowing an ego.

If you can't think for yourself then I imagine it would be necessary to ingest a crapload of prepackaged thoughts and opinions in order to be conversant in this world.

Then is the addictive quality of the material in its immovable surety, its fake aura of absolute rightness?  I think so.

Not only that, but I think that because they are a bit empty, and lack their own identity, "stuff" - ie, negative entities and such - can obviously work through them a lot easier;  so part of what you're seeing when you encounter these people who keep coming at you with their rabid, robotic, hateful, unempathetic propaganda spouting is not only some energy feeding, as you've noted, but possibly "stuff" is kinda sorta hoping that maybe you'll actually....convert to that way of thinking.  That maybe is given enough time, where they're working on you day in and day out, that maybe you'll start to go "hmmm.......maybe he's right about this....maybe he's got a point here.....hmmm....."

I know it seems ridiculous, like, "I'm not that stupid, please!  I'd never fall for that.  I know my own mind..."  But Negs are, for lack of a better way of putting it, kinda dumb.  wink   Really, they are.   They lack what it is that makes us human, and can't think the way we do.    It seems like a perfectly great strategy to them.  They're unable to see it all from our angle, and are unable to see themselves and their modes of operation the way we see them.   And maybe because it does successfully work on so many people (unfortunately) that they keep at it.

I don't know, just some thoughts....

Reading this reminds of the accounts of possession and exorcism that I've read and how often a Neg will identify itself as "Beezlebub" or "Baal" or some other uber-infamous demonic monarch.

On the one hand, I recognize that that's a ploy and that they're trying to scare the possessee and priest/lightworker; on the other hand, it's always seemed really, really, really dumb to me.  It's akin to catching a burglar breaking into your house, confronting them, and they say something like: "I'm the President of the United States!  I go wherever I want!"

The difference is, of course, that most people can't see Negs and so have no certain way of identifying it.  But if all these Negs really were super-duper demon kings, why do they have so much trouble possessing a little girl?

This goes back somewhat to what montalk was saying about lies being revealed by the use of gradiose titles...

Re: Red Flags of Mis or Dis-information

Disinformation artists use the same trick, using double the credentials makes up for half the truth. People generally fall for that trick. So add this red flag to the bunch: overplaying credentials to puff up weak ideas.

That would also account for people with hefty degrees at prestigious universities being scoped out and recruited for pushing disinformation. They already come pre-programmed, are easily blackmailed, have great intellects for making bullshit sound impressive, and garner captive attention from people too lazy to think for themselves.

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

Re: Red Flags of Mis or Dis-information

lyra,
I like the way Ann Coulter has one ear exposed in that photo.   It's almost like she want's to show everyone her "spock ears"....lol.

Maybe that's how hybrids, give each other the high-five, by showing off their cool ears?   I wonder what planet she's from?

Re: Red Flags of Mis or Dis-information

After listening to the Ann Coulter interview with Alex Jones and adding to the Ann Coulter/Michael Moore thread, I decided to add the three ingredients of propaganda to this thread.

Propaganda is said to require: (1) high emotional charge; (2) broad simplicity (oversimplicity?); and (3) easy-to-remember slogans.

Most of the disinfo out there in the spiritual community is much more sophisticated than mainstream propaganda, but I think it still contains those three ingredients beneath the surface.

I'm reminded of Charismatic Pentecostals: they sing and dance themselves into a fervor; they've stripped Christianity down to a single belief: belief in Jesus as Savior; and they have no shortage of slogans: "Let go, let God."

Re: Red Flags of Mis or Dis-information

I've never noticed this before, but Coulter's face is way out of proportion.  The distance between her lips and chin is too long, for example.  She looks like she has some sort of skeletal disease.

Ann looks as if she may have once been Andrew.  Large Adam's apple, long male type face.

I looked for more photos of Ann online, and what I've concluded is this:

She's definitely female:

http://www.strangepolitics.com/images/content/4145.jpg

but, I remembered something an ex boyfriend once pointed out - women who go into law do so because they tend to have a larger dose of testosterone going on.  That ambitious, aggressive man quality makes them perfectly suited for that line of work. (Ann got her start in Law.)   So, Ann just may have that extra bit o' testosterone going on, giving her that aggressive, man personality....and man hands.....and slightly mannish face......haha   I don't know.  Just a theory.   After my ex told me that, I paid closer attention to women lawyers, and damn if he wasn't right about them being more "manly" in most cases.    Not all, but definitely most.

My final conclusion is that Ann is a tool.   After listening to the Alex Jones interview it's become obvious that the woman doesn't even remember half of what she wrote in her own books, and cannot back up her own arguments.   Until the Alex Jones interview, she'd been "safely" interviewed by people who either held the same views she had, so it was more like a liberal gripe fest than an actual interview, or, people who weren't willing - or allowed - to do what Alex did and grill her about the Patriot Act, and 9/11, and all the hard facts.   Either way, she was safe and protected............like the kid who can't read and yet manages to cover their butt year after year in school and slip through the cracks and still graduate highschool.   Eventually things catch up to a person though, and if you don't actually know your shit, and it turns out you're operating as a programmed - possibly mind controlled - robot, then it will eventually be exposed....as it was on the Alex Jones show.

(btw, in my Google search on Ann images, I saw a funny one called "Dude, WTF?!" theorizing that Ann Coulter was an alien, showing her extremely loooong hand.

http://www.overspun.com/images/Coulter.Alien.jpg

That hand is about as long as my foot.  !  So maybe she's not a man...maybe she's just an alien!  big_smile   After all, Pleideian Healer pointed out her Spock ear.....and that's two people now noticing her "alien" qualities....makes ya wonder.......!)
