On the face of it light is good as it helps us see.

Light is frequently referred to in near-death experiences where people have seen some kind of spiritual realm. Beings there are often referred to as beings of light, and if someone sees what they consider to be Jesus then he is an especially bright and beautiful light.

I wonder if light is used as part of some control system - it certainly would be a good choice as most people upon dying would probably head straight for some bright light.

as with many "positive" things in this world (and the next) - "they" always try to corrupt these positive things into another control method or manipulating factor (negative).

for example, Illuminati actually means someone who is enlightened, with knowledge, which SHOULD mean something positive. But, what does the word mean today? it means a negative organization that is manipulating us. Thus, illuminati no longer carries a positive connotation.

Illuminati has the root word of illuminate - which means Light.

Many people (or beings) long to corrupt the "New Age" phenomena that is going on now. People are awakening, so it only makes sense they would try to divert or confuse, or mislead people.

That doesnt mean the Light is bad, of course not. its all about the situation, the factors, and your feelings- thats what it boils down to.
