The only reference I could find on Jordan's website was this:
"The new reality they sought was radically secular and stridently simple. The ideal was not the balanced complexity of the new American federation, but the occult simplicity of its great seal: an all-seeing eye atop a pyramid over the words Novus Ordo Seclorum."
I may have overlooked something, though...

The all-seeing eye of God is noted several times in the Christian Bible:
Psalm 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalm 33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
Ezekiel 20:17 Nevertheless mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness.
That's a reference to the Eye of Providence as discussed above, not the same as the eye in the pyramid. There's no mentioning of a pyramid, not even the triangle.

Then there are numerous interpretations, like this one from a Rev. Christine:
http://divinesciencecommunitycenter.org … hatis.html
"Then we have the pyramid with a capstone not yet lowered into place, and above it and within a triangle appears the ancient symbol of the all-seeing eye. This is the "Single Eye" of which Jesus Christ spoke. He said, "When the eye is single the whole body is full of light." This means that when we individually and on a national level put God first, everything else second, then the whole body, the whole life of that person and nation will be healthy, free and prosperous.
The triangle is the symbol of the human soul and Divine understanding of the principle of creation. The capstone of the pyramid is still removed to indicate that man cannot accomplish any real work of himself, but only as the instrument of God by having a Single Eye.
The pyramid is the geometrical form that symbolizes Spirit, as it is taken to be the permanent expression of a living flame – the fire principle. The pyramid also represents stability because of its solid shape and most difficult to overturn."

After somewhat changing the search terms, I finally dug up from the NT what you may have had in mind:
Matthew:
42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
Mark:
10 And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:
11 This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
Acts:
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
Ephesians:
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
1 Peter 2
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
That's how I understand the primary meaning of these verses:
(1) The stone (as corner stone) is indeed used as a symbol of Jesus Christ. The rejection of the stone in Mark and Matthew stands for the initial rejection of Jesus. Later on in his life, Jesus found his disciples and an increasing following - that's marvelous. Becoming the head of the corner refers to this "success" story. Jesus became the enlightened head of a group.
What's a 'head of the corner', or the 'chief corner stone'? I don't exactly know, but this is how I understand it:
a) it's an important stone, the chief, the leader, the head.
b) it's still part of the corner, not the roof or the top of the building. Not the capstone, and not of a pyramid at all. 'Corner' might mean that the movement that developed from Jesus' teachings was still relatively small those days, a minority within a mainly Roman dominated society.
(2) The 'building' stands for the church that is built on the foundation of Jesus Christ, the corner stone. The building is not referred to as a pyramid. Jesus Christ is not referred to as the capstone, the pinnacle, but the foundation that became, after it was accepted by so many, the leading stone of the corner.
My conclusions here:
* There is no direct reference of Christ (or Christ consciousness) being the capstone of a pyramid in the Bible. Later interpretations in this way are not rooted in the bible itself and may have a specific purpose.
* Moreover, a pyramid is undoubtedly a symbol of hierarchy. Even if we would accept the capstone as representing Jesus or the Eye of Providence, there is still the body of the pyramid. The body alone, with less stones in the higher layers and a broad base at the bottom, is a perfect analogy to a hierarchical structure where a few at the top rule over many at the bottom. It is quite different from Jesus, the Shepard, watching over his herd of (equal) sheep.
* It seems that every one and his brother just cites, interprets, and uses biblical allegories ad libitum. One quotes the other, things are twisted to make them fit their theories and so on. I don't claim that my view, which is not more than a working hypothesis, is the correct one, but I became very skeptical over time. Let's be ready to go back to the drawing board anytime. Let's be open to reconsider things if additional information becomes available, but let's also try to cut to the chase and double check what others have come up with.
Thank you,
