Topic: WWW bridge to telepathy? voiz disguize

It might seem that the worldwide web is, in a certain respect, a step above real life, in that thoughts communicate without the sometimes-misleading distractions created by the audio/visual communications of live interactions.

With the advent of voiz disguize (spelling?) some complained of it being "dishonest" by dint of "misrepresenting" female voices as male & so on & so forth. What seems to have eluded these complainants is the fact that, ironically, real life is misrepresentative as well, because at times, "sweet faces" and "sweet voices" can easily delude innocents into believing that the intent and experiences behind those facades are sweet as well. And vice versa.

And what about the Internet?

True, it's a step above real-life in the respect that people who previously might never have communicated due to societal & racial constraints are now "communicating". That is progress, because it has expanded societies' previously narrower parameters, even against the will of some of its members.

But it doesn't hold a candle to telepathy. That's the only true communication, because audio-visuals, whether flesh-to-flesh, screen-to-screen, or mike-to-mike, fall way short by comparison - none of them capture the essence of peoples' true motivations and experiences.

And just as some prejudiced people may have been forced to acknowledge the Internet against their will, who knows, might there come a time when people will be forced to acknowledge against their will that their heretofore simplistically-conceived judgments regarding others' motivations and experiences - were way off the mark?
No matter whether online or offline?

This last is intended as a tacit hint to a certain competitively-motivated? member of this board who has unsolicitedly assumed the role of Royaloyal Code Enforcer. These royaloyals are inevitably found on so many boards as in real life. Had I chosen to do so, I had plenty to say in response. But I refrained, so as not to allow entities further grist for their mill. Yet that member chose to persist elsewhere. Enough is enough! Frankly, I don't give a d--n if I'm banned or not ("Off with my head!!") but my policy is that I don't respond to, nor read the posts of, anyone whose motivations are competitive and judgmental. As for excessive rambling, inanity, & jargon, that's another story, but I can't by my very nature relate to those either. While I respect that technical jargon is necessary as tools of the trade, due to my ignorance of the latter, I most relate to simple intelligence that's motivated by non-judgmentalism and non-aimlessness. There you have it, in a nutshell.

Re: WWW bridge to telepathy? voiz disguize

Murphy, I've noticed, too how some individuals tend to take on certain "roles" online. Perhaps for some reason an individual needs this for a time. Let them have it, if they want it so! It's no reflection on you. Don't let them "get your goat." You can even like them while seeing that they are offering unwanted comment and advice, because they are showing they are human, or at least flawed, which is a good thing! Perfection is as deadly dull as incessant complaining. Neither gets one anywhere. You probably comprehend the "jargon" better than you think you do.
I myself wait till I am in the "mode" for each of the various subjects so that my mind doesn't get overwhelmed. One thing I appreciate about you is that you aren't afraid to come out and say that something doesn't make sense to you, and I think your recent entry and link show that you have thought some of these things through.
Now BREATH and realize that no one and everyone BELONGS. I could be way off on all this, as you said one can never assume they really know where another is coming from, whether online or off, so please realize I am just responding spontaneously and instinctually. What's your take on this?

Not unsolicited.  Try "Solicited."   Because you have repeatedly demanded answers from us to questions relating to the personal problems that plague you.   AKA....soliciting.   You solicited feedback and answers, to questions we don't have the answers to, might I add.   But you asked.  You requested.

And apparantly you didn't like the feedback you got, so now convenienantly, once again, you're a victim.   As always.  But never forget.....you asked for feedback and answers.   You requested it.   I know what I see when I read your posts, and anybody here can use the search function to pull up all your posts to read and see for themselves what I'm talking about.   In all of your posts you portray yourself as a victim of something or someone, complain complain complain, demand answers to things we can't help you with, AND....most importantly.......try to use manipulative, guilt tripping tactics to make us feel bad that we don't have the answers and "haven't helped you."   Please.    I can't sit back and watch as someone systematically roams around the board moping and complaining and energy feeding in every thread they're on, (trying to) guilt trip the rest of us, pointing fingers, playing the blame game and always talking about their woe is me problems.   I can't.   I will say something and point it out, because you're dragging down the board when you carry on like that.    But again, please note.........I only said something when YOU requested feedback.   Until that time, I kept quiet.

So you can label it as being "competitively motivated", but that's because you don't want to face the music that you asked for feedback, and you just don't like the feedback you received.

I just wish this board would pick up and become more energetic, with more lively positive interaction and productive information exchange.   It has the potential to be this.......providing mopey energy feeding victim posts don't drag it into the mud.

If you look at this from a different perspective one could say that the board is the victim of "bad people" when to my perspective, this board is what it is.  Very cliche of course but you or me or Tom or anyone else can't FORCE people to communicate and share information.  People must feel comfortable and frankly SAFE to communicate without being jumped on.

Moreoever, I personally didn't find Murphy's post all that objectionable.  So what if he whines?  I can either decide to respond to him or not, get involved with his whine or not.  Or just go to the next post.

Now...this is becoming a slam bam type of fight which frankly is what RUINS a board.  Not someone who says he isn't doing well in life.

What is true for me is that if I uplift myself, then and ONLY then I can uplift others.

I've found Lyra, that you have incredible willingness to share your insights, information and ideas.
You have a tremendous amount of enthusiam it seems and a desire for things to flow and get better.  What I feel, though, (perhaps because,as I've said, I see myself in you quite abit) is that in your enthusiasm and passion you forget about empathy, forebearance and care.

Not everyone has the same energy level, awakeness or understanding.  This does not make them less worthy than anyone else, just different.

I'm not saying "love and light" is the only way; however, I wonder how snapping at someone has ever produced much honest communication.

Just my unsolicited 2 cents, of course.

Re: WWW bridge to telepathy? voiz disguize

I know the "victimization mode", having been raised in a family for whom this was the "natural" mode of thinking. It isn't something easy to change, it takes time and efforts. To tell someone that they have to change seems a bit authoritarian -- murphy probably doesn't need the reminder. Everyone here is doing their best. We all have to live in a society where judgments and self-righteousness are the norm, it would be good if this community was more compassionate.

If someone is pissing you off, observe yourself and ask yourself why you have such a reaction. Everything is a lesson wink

I disagree.   First off, I never told murphy that she (he?) "HAD" to change anything.   I don't ever tell / command people what to do.  I don't do it in real life, let alone on a messageboard.   Second ---   Being that murphy repeatedly asked (demanded, actually) for feedback and answers, it was / is in my place to give it.  And actually, everybody here else was free to give feedback too, but nobody did.   (Well actually, I take that back -- I did see that Cameron gave some feedback to murph over on another thread, but he and I have been the only ones.)      Sooooooo........since murphy asked for it, murphy obviously DOES need the reminder.

I think by NOT saying what is obvious and what needs to be said we're all doing more harm than good.    Too often, people keep quiet for fear of "rocking the boat", "making waves", or becoming "unpopular".  Also, many out there are "afraid of conflict."   Many out there want to just "get along" and blend in, and so turn the other way.   That doesn't help anything.  Tiptoeing around out of fear of "hurting somebody's feelings" does no good.   And once again  -- I don't go around in life, or on messageboards, giving blunt, truthful feedback and opinions out of nowhere without being asked.   Murphy asked.   My feedback happens to be more to the point and blunt than others, but that's who I am.  I learned a long time ago that tiptoeing around doesn't solve anything.    I wish more people were like this.  And maybe we won't be able to help murphy, maybe it's too late, but at least it'll help others who read it and recognize their own self defeating mindset and pessimistic, victimization tendancies.

I'm sure I come across as the "board enforcer" but I don't mean to.  And again, I wouldn't have offered my "feedback" had murphy not asked.

You wish? Well, good thing you're a mini-blackhole just like the rest of us.

I agree with your points lyra, but because one of my initiatives like yours is to establish a medium where conversations here can lead to networked solutions.

I wish more people were like this.  And maybe we won't be able to help murphy, maybe it's too late, but at least it'll help others who read it and recognize their own self defeating mindset and pessimistic, victimization tendancies.

Self-defeating mindsets allow the existence of self-promoting mindsets. If one didn't exist, the other would not.

The black-hole exists. The sun exists. They are supposedly both equally as apparent. One sucks everything to non-existence, the other promotes life by spiraling outwards energy. Both are equally as important. Lyra, I live by the code that existence is equivalent to a conduit. In fact, conduits upon conduits which create structure upon our universe, is very important even in human relations. Conduit means ALL points are of equal importance. Pessimism to YOU may be less important than being opportunistic, as it is to me, but it is incorrect and ultimately subjective for you to declare YOUR expectations upon life around you. What if earth was worse off than it was now? 10 times more war and 100 times more rape and disgusting actions like that, and it would still be AS important as valuable in the Universe as compared to the earth of NOW. It's all perspective and only a fool judges upon his or her perspective. We can observe and network though.

However, where the hell do you think you are, lyra? I mean, victims, vampires and the like will always be one-half of your audience, customers, friends, family, etc etc. If you don't believe in that or the symbolism that imposes on everyone (if we like or not), then you'd be living in a idealistic utopia right now. What it ultimately comes down to right now is the word noise. At the casschat, they have Noise-Ratio which apparently enough was used to shut me up, hehe, so they have their own strategies to keep the group-intent under guard and focus. If we did that here, it would be antagonistic and not as purposeful due to the open-minded topics we're juggling.

All I'm saying lyra is that we just have to do the best we can. The water isn't filtered. We have to accept the little bits of poop that squeeze out.

Hi, sedna.

Hmm... My frank take? I really hate this but, well, here goes:

I'm perfectly aware that the world thrives on imperfection, competition, and arguments.

But believe it or not, I thrive on harmony and cringe from competition. I also have had very different experiences, and therefore don't really feel I belong anywhere.

The problem is, that nobody can accept that there really IS somebody whose experiences are so absolutely different from everyone else (even from other victims of entities!

I'm different in:

Appearance.

Diction.

Background (a permutation that's even different than those in my society, not excluding some technical background which had also involved entity manipulation)

Experiences (some have entities, others have chronic illness, but I have BOTH, and even THOSE have different characteristics)

No offense intended, but since you [implied?] that you appreciate frankness, the only thing which was actually on target in Christine's post was:

What I feel, though, (perhaps because,as I've said, I see myself in you quite abit) is that in your enthusiasm and passion you forget about empathy, forebearance and care.

The latter is ABSOLUTELY on target!!

As for the rest?

My so-called "whining" was always for a purpose. Evil must be exposed, just as Bin Laden must be exposed. And furthermore, it wasn't "whining" it was the truth. A truth which most people refuse to countenance despite that it's one of the themes on the Montalk site, and why I'd thought I oughta feel SAFE here.

Also, was she implying that I don't have the same level of "awakeness or understanding"? That makes me laugh. And http://img3.photobucket.com/albums/v32/JudySmith/sigh.gif in a roll way.

Christine: If Ms. RoyaLoyal would become telepathic, she'd CRINGE at the assumptions she made, as well as her CRUELTY (once she'd realize the extent of both my past suffering, and my achievements even as I was suffering.

On what basis might anyone here assume I haven't been helping others practically? Does anyone know what my achievements have been, just because I don't choose to flaunt it on board? Or maybe I chose to keep them private, for the sake of discretion?

For crying out loud! This is getting way too frustrating for me. I see that despite all my posts thus far, not one member here had the discernment to be able to read between the lines in a totally unblemished way. It's just a treadmill, a constant exercise in futility. With Tom as well (as evidenced by his naievete in misguidedly planting in all of your minds that "murphy see's herself as a victim"

AND Y'ALL FELL FOR IT HOOK LINE & SINKER (except maybe BlackBox - somewhat - though I'm not quite on his jargonian wavelength! big_smile
You also fell for it, sedna, with your term "Getting Your Goat" http://img3.photobucket.com/albums/v32/JudySmith/uh.gif

You all just don't GET it!
Fact is, I don't SEE myself as a victim.
I am a victim, no less than Bin Laden's victims.
Except instead of Bin Laden, it's entities.

The biggest irony, is that Tom of all people, who chose to create a site, and include the phenomenon about entities manipulating people to be at cross purposes; then despite this, goes ahead, and plays right into the hands of said entities. How? By posting his assumption about my "victim mentality", which in turn caused Lyra (the entities' tool - who for all I know they planted on board knowing her judgmental nature and my imminent arrival) to further cultivate in members' minds the ridiculous notion of my "victim mentality".

So, I'm choosing not to post anymore in public. Unless I'm banned (and I really don't care either way - as I've reached the same juncture that Alice in wonderland did by tossing the pack of cards), if I have something to respond to anyone, I'll do so via PM.

Because I see that even this board isn't immune to discord, and I can't afford to allow further inroads into my health.

BTW, the health factor is why I haven't been reading Lyra's posts. Even her initial controversy was merely skimmed over very superficially. I knew to be on guard, because I recognized her style from her responses to Rofo & IlikeIcke, and in addition, it was "loud & clear" that she didn't bother responding to me on the health board. Consequently I got her number even before noticing her unsolicited responses elsewhere. So FYI sedna, her posts did NOT get my goat as much as they might have - IF i would have bothered reading them.

I'm fully cognizant that this post may have alienated some members. If so (and I'm not saying it is!) that might be due to lack of self-awareness on your parts, and the inability to accept a frank assessment even when solicited.

But leave me out of it. I don't enjoy being embroiled in aimless friction. REALLY!

As the C's warned, paranoia will destroy ya. The above is filled with assumptions, contradictions, rationalization, and the projection of these upon others.

Murphy wrote:

I am a victim, no less than Bin Laden's victims.

This is either a flat out contradiction with the first quote, or else Murphy still doesn't understand the difference between those who became victims without having a victim mindset, and those who stayed victims because of their victim mindset. Murphy claims to belong to the former category, citing her victimization as analagous to death-by-bin-Laden.

There's a difference between dying in a bomb attack and being continuously victimized around the clock. The latter requires consistent invitation of attack by having a victim mentality. The cycle starts and stops with the person in question.

So those who have a victim mentality are victimized continuously and vice versa. What Murphy's talking about experiencing is continuous victimization. The "Bin Laden" thing is a dramatic trick that doesn't even fit the context of Murphy's situation, a logical fallacy typical of rationalization.

To Murphy I can only say this:

Everyone has a right to express their honest and sincere opinions. Whether you are emotionally harmed by another's opinion is up to you - it is your choice and responsibility, not theirs. Why? Because if it were solely everyone else's responsibility, then we'd all have to shut up to avoid offending the most sensitive person around. If your buttons are being pushed, how about deactivating them instead of cutting off people's fingers? Calling yourself a victim means placing the blame entirely upon others, which would violate people's right to express their opinions. Therefore, it's more logical to have people say what they need to say, and let it be up to the receiver to accept or reject the emotional impact of what is said.

And as for victimization by entities, it is absolute fact that in cases of continuous attacks, hyperdimensional entities attack the weakest links through their weakest chinks. If you find yourself in that hole, you won't get out of it by defending your position.

I recommend letting go of this friction, or else taking it offlist. The situation is doing no one any good.

Re: WWW bridge to telepathy? voiz disguize

Hi Thook,

Make or find a picture that is 60 by 60 pixels, then go to "Profile" and you will see a spot to upload this picture as your avatar. It has to be under 10kB in size. The file can be either jpg or gif format.

You can search for them online by typing in "avatars" - but so far I haven't found a good website with many different avatars to choose from, which is why I just made one myself.
