Amazing.  So sad to see NR go.  I can say that I made a huge transition in life based around this forum.  And synchronistically, without having read the initial post that said this forum was dieing, I thought to myself how NR has lost some of what it once was.  The discussions held are not nearly as full of valuable information or in depth research.  It has turned more into a posting board for any little fringe idea.  Some may not see this as true, but it is how I feel. 

I do have a question to Montalk though, why shutdown?  I can figure two reasons, monetary costs, which I find unlikely, or the will to slow the dilution of information in the forum.  I suppose there could be a million reasons, perhaps those that were already given sufficiently suffice.

If the question has not already been asked, where will others be going?  I need to find a new location to stay in the fringe pipeline.

Thanks so much for the years of opportunity for a unique flow of information and exchange of ideas, Tom. Well done, you! And no small task, as has been noted by many.

The closing of NR seems fitting as a hallmark of the times, to me. There is definitely a shift in progress, feels to me, and it's one that feels like it has a potential to change humanity's relationship to life from soup to nuts. How far it gets and how that looks I don't know, but I can feel the bubbling potential.

Speaking of shifts, has anyone else noticed a difference in the posts since the announcement was made? It's almost as though, once we know something is coming to an end, we pull out all remaining stops, free ourselves and get to the heart in our sharing. Well, it seems that way to me, at least. There's definitely a lot more freely flowing heart energy in the sharing going on just lately. "Symptoms" of letting go, no doubt. Lovely, btw.

There might be some element of desperation on since change can be frightening. But the change can jar us out of fear of reaching out to others. NR has been for me a warm campfire on a dark prairie. I’ve been in the shadows mainly since there is the fear of banality or realization how far some of you have been ahead of me in learning. Constantly removing ones foot from the mouth is exhausting. Hopefully some of us will continue to compare experiences and share. I agree that total relying on this forum or others at the exclusion of life experiences is counter productive but is does provide a pat on the back.. or kick in the butt we can’t always get with our personal contacts.

So I met a guy last night who turns out to be in the know.  Very interesting and exciting! smile  I also like to encourage face-to-face meeting with people, that is why I let go of my facebook account.  And now that Noble Realms is closing up, that will create even more space for dreams and imaginations.  Although I do enjoy the 'net for easy access to people, music, movies, etc. I too shall take this opportunity to frequent the 'net less.  I feel that the here and now is where most of the magic happens, NR has been an outlet that has allowed me to share myself.  Thanks Tom.  It's been aw3som3.  I know how I arrived here, and now I understand the letting go aspect.  As much as I want to participate on another forum, or take down mass email of All, I know that we'll all meet up again, laughing, wondering why we were all so scared in the first place.  You have all helped me in wonderous ways.  I really felt disconnected before I arrived here, and here is where everything became possible.  It helped me reflect.  wink 

I've noticed lately that it is hard to let things go, but it the end the space that is created feels sparked with divine prescence, and that feeling transcends the day-to-day affairs of what I might as well start calling 'the old' too.  Thank you everyone for the laughs, tears, joys, insights and even confusion!  I imagine everyone having the best of times in the relative time ahead... I dream for a world where indeed, there are no boarders or boundries between ourselves, where we are free to express ourselves, and where we have the space to be who we truly choose to be.

You are all welcome, and thanks for sharing your sincere thoughts about the closing and what NR has meant to you. Considering the fact that none of us stop growing, the next time we cross paths we will all hopefully be stronger and wiser. As I mentioned in another thread (quoted below) I made the decision to close NR on the condition that whatever is lost will be more than made up for in the next phase of things. So that's a promise.

I answered this in my reply to Bhang on another thread:

Reality is this: First, the only way people would not be disappointed is if Noble Realms had become so horrible a forum that no one cared about it closing. Being that NR was never allowed to get to that point, of course there is disappointment. Some hard feelings are inevitable.

Second, the question then turns to how long NR must stay open. That is determined by the ratio between spiritual costs and spiritual gains for myself and everyone, in context of the big picture and the long run. The cost of keeping NR going is pretty steep, and by this I mean the  endless sacrifice of time, energy, and peace of mind dealing with the biweekly conflicts, disinformation attempts, trolls, misunderstandings, and vibrational clashes. Forces have been trying to take down, corrupt, overrun, and subvert this forum since the first day it opened. Keeping NR running forever was impossible. Think about that ... running it forever is impossible.

Therefore it only had to stay open long enough to help as many people as possible until the spiritual cost/gain ratio crossed a critical point. It took four years to reach that point. Gains were somewhat lowered by a shift in the needs and vibes of the active forum membership. Cost was increased by the onset of new potentials and projects in my life that require the time and energy I had been using to "hold back the waters" on this forum.

So closing the forum was only a matter of time, it could not last forever, and now things are at a point where the losses are not as bad as they used to be had the forum closed sooner, and my calling to do even more hard-hitting forms of service has reached its maximum. I've got a book to write, physical networks to form, website to overhaul, and some other tricks up my sleeve. The decision was made on one condition, that whatever is lost by closing the forum will be more than doubly compensated for everyone, in the big picture and long run, by whatever comes next. You'll just have to hang in there and see.

About the date 2/22/08 -- it was the next date within the "month from now" timeframe that was a nice number. You know how people see 111 or 222 or 333 on the clock and it means a thumbs up from reality. I figured why have a meaningless number, let's pick something that was associated with positive number meanings.

Where will people go?

      *  to other existing forums
      *  to forums made for and by NR members needing continuation
      *  to more private and direct forms of networking

On another subject, during this final month, watch out for "karmic compression" which is lots of people having their remaining NR-associated lessons crammed into the remaining time. It's just like the real world in the years leading up to the 3D/4D shift. The microcosmic parallels are numerous, so watch for them if you're curious. With things coming to an end, unraveling, separating, there is simultaneously a compression of things to fit into time running out, and a loosening of restraints since less matters than it used to because the end is coming. After the forum closes I will do some cleaning, but for now things must play out.

Thank You, Tom.  I appreciate the effort you put in to keep this space available.  It was exactly what I needed when I needed it.  The closure is timely also, given my current personal situation.

I understand and agree with the decision.

Thank you everyone for sharing yourselves here.  That true giving of self is priceless no matter what form it takes.

I most likely won't be an active part of another forum.  I still read a couple though and post once in awhile.  I've been becoming less and less active on forums for awhile now.

I know that I don't post here very often, for my own reasons but as an observer I would just like to Thank Tom for giving people the opportunity to "network" with each other. This forum has been a great source of information, an excellent experiment, and the inspiration required to realize that there are other like-minded individuals out there seeking the same truth. 

Thank You again Tom for providing people with this "opportunity" to learn.

Now my own two cents is to take everything you've learned from this experience and begin to apply its methods.  This knowledge will be invaluable in the upcoming years.

Good luck to everyone here. And may the light befall upon you wherever you shall go.

As far as other forums go, I have previously been unable to find one as integrated and useful as Noble Realms.  I understand, however, that there comes a time to move on to new challenges by redirecting one’s focus.
