Re: Announcement: NR Forum Closing on Feb 22nd, 2008
Amazing. So sad to see NR go. I can say that I made a huge transition in life based around this forum. And synchronistically, without having read the initial post that said this forum was dieing, I thought to myself how NR has lost some of what it once was. The discussions held are not nearly as full of valuable information or in depth research. It has turned more into a posting board for any little fringe idea. Some may not see this as true, but it is how I feel.
I do have a question to Montalk though, why shutdown? I can figure two reasons, monetary costs, which I find unlikely, or the will to slow the dilution of information in the forum. I suppose there could be a million reasons, perhaps those that were already given sufficiently suffice.
In the words of Terrence McKenna, who was quoting William Blake, ""Nothing lasts... nothing lasts. Everything is changing into something else. Nothing's wrong. Nothing is wrong. Everything is on track. William Blake said nothing is lost.. and I believe that we all move on." So powerful!!
If the question has not already been asked, where will others be going? I need to find a new location to stay in the fringe pipeline.
