Topic: God sez: "No more floods."

I've been reading a translation of the Zohar, and I have found something very interesting.

Supposedly God made a covenant with Malkuth that there would not be another flood after Noah. Quoted in the Zohar from the Torah:

"I shall not again curse... I shall not again smite..." (Gen 8:21)

"As I have sworn that the waters of Noah shall no more go over the Earth" (Issiah 54:9)

Supposedly rainbows are a reminder to God not to smite humanity when he gets angry. The mother of Israel displays a rainbow "And I shall see it and remember the everlasting covenant." (Gen 9:16)

Those are the biblical bits that the Zohar uses to back its claim that there will not be another deluge. I wont quote from the Zohar, unless ya'll want more.

Well, damn. That's interesting! I've had the hope that the world will transition without great disaster. It is so common to see predictions of doom, and well, it's unoriginal, to say the least! smile I'm not particularly zealous about any kind of scripture, but in my very limited explorations, I am finding the Torah to be of great interest. Many of the passages quoted in the Zohar resonate for me between the idea of the passage and the number assigned to it. Being someone avidly haunted by numbers, this piques my interest. So if the Torah says there wont be another flood, I am willing to give it some credence.

Maybe he sent the chemtrail squad.

Re: God sez: "No more floods."

right!! I think the Noah flood is to predict in reality how one can be bombarded to his conciousness and knowledge of flood that could come thats how the GOD, Source, LIght, love , knowledge chooses its entities to bring them into higher callings and higher paths that they need to walk to realize one's trueself. Floods in New Orleans, Fire in California, Global warming, nuclear wars , it might very well be coming to an end where there will be no more humans left and i doubt if there are any left at this point too.

This is really interesting I took upon Religion 150 when i was attending school and then out of the blue, I would decide to go thru some of the notes that I had taken and test papers of religion 150 which was in year 2003 and then I come across a page where I have written 13 lines of declaring ones belief as JEW. and on the 12 line it wrote I firmly believe that the messiah will come and even tho! he might be tyrrant and I daily wait for his coming. 13 line read I firmly believe that when  he will come he will wake the dead and bring them to the final judgement. Allright, I might not be exact on those lines cuz I don't have my notes infront of me but that was the whole concept and One more thing that stood out was this. On one of the test paper I had 5 symbols that I had to recognize and choose their names from the given list. The symbols were in this order

1 yin & yang
2 Cacedeus ( I think I spelled it wrong but it was a wand with wings and snakes going upto the wings)
3 Alpha Omega ( Alpha representing the male aspect the mind and Omega the feminie emotional aspect)
4 XP (this is very interesting XP stands for christ and I wonder if the name windows XP was deliberately kept)
5 AUM (now that seems to be the variable for the bramha the whole )

now if one has to look at these symbols they say a tale of war between two sides recognition, adaptation and lifting oneself to the christ conciousness and being exposed to the whole.

Well, anyways that was something I came across yesterday and wanted to share here. But heres something that is interesting about jewish scriptures. Try to read about Kabala its very interesting it might resontate and explain the whole conept of GOD. I watched a documentary on it once it was very interesting but they never say the truth in documentaries but still left me with some puzzles to complete mine.

No, I know the "promise" is no more global deluge.  Just thought this was a cool photograph for the topic though.

Re: God sez: "No more floods."

The esoteric writings since the late 1800s say that Lemuria was destroyed by fire tens of thousands of years before Atlantis.   Much later Atlantis was destroyed by water and that, without a change of heart by the people of earth, fire will again destroy in the future, not water.

Naturally the idea that an angry God causes any of this is not quite true.  We are personally responsible for our contribution to the weight of the mass consciousness.  Have been for tens of thousands of years and longer.   That's why we are still incarnating in a world like this with threats at every hand.  Over a long period of time the misuse of the 'God' force within us is the cause of destruction on a personal and planetary scale.  To some degree each of us have turned the flow of the inner light of God into lower forms of energy... anger, fear, greed, envy, hatred... etc.

Notwithstanding the old testament in some places records a false god interacting with semitic tribes, the scriptural  statements of an angry god can be interpreted esoterically.

"I will pour out my wrath upon you" ...etc

Statements like that referring to "my wrath" or "my anger" give the impression of an angry God.  But they refer to the negative quality which we ourselves have converted the God force into.   It is our own creation speaking to us.  By our own emotional and mental violence we have changed the lifeforce into a lower matrix of 'death' consciousness[vibrationally].  In the service of the greater good, and in order to forstall personal and global calamities which could come, our work is to resurrect the energies of self which are imprisoned in that lower matrix of selfhood.  It is the lead in our saddlebags which makes us vulnerable to attracting the karmic return of like energies.  Destructive forces within ourselves can be transmuted back into their original light vibration so that the greater light of spiritual selfhood can again flow into our soul and our world.  This personal process is the key to the transmutation of the seething planetary beasts of the mass consciousness and the forces which manipulate our world through it.

Our success in this endeavour, individual by individual, will determine how great the lash will be when world karma returns 'with a vengeance'.   Our spiritual God is not the origin of this vengeance and, over the centuries, has progressively revealed the truth about the equation of light and darkness and our own responsibility in the "matter".  We create our own reality on personal and planetary levels and the creative act has been untold centuries in the making.  The conversion of our souls to inner- spirit is the antidote to ignorance and to personal/ planetary destruction... by fire, by water, by air, by earth.

Re: God sez: "No more floods."

I'm not convinced that a "God" couldn't get "angry."

The father of humanity must have a streak of severity, in order to punish his children who don't follow his commandments, his instructions that must at times be enforced in order to guide the children (humanity) beyond their lower animal natures and into devine being.

If the organizing higher powers of our universe can only express love and light then we'd be in great, great peril. Given free will, there may always be beings who choose negativity and degradation. I do indeed hope for a strong hand that will remove some of the obstinate beings that threaten the whole mission.

I interperate the promise of there being not another deluge as an indication that humanity wont be punished as a whole (as it was in Noah's time when everybody but one family got it), but that judgement will occur per individual. This gives me hope as sovereign being that I will not be held accountable for the actions of my fellow human beings, but by my own merits will I achieve salvation or destruction.

Re: God sez: "No more floods."

Mencius wrote : "The father of humanity must have a streak of severity..."

I agree Mencius.  The following is not to refute your points which i think are all good,  just a few more thoughts and some about humanity in general.   Most people reading scriptural passages about God's anger would impute anger to God in a human emotional sense ...a vibration we are all familiar with.  We would impute this human characteristic to an anthropomorphic God [a god made in the human image] because that is our own experience.  Yet back when those scriptures were written down God spoke to the people [about their anger and other subjects] in terms they could understand.  They were scattered warring tribes with little knowlege of universal truth.  At that time the people imagined that an external God sent their calamities in response to their sins so God accomodated their understanding.  By speaking of the consequences of sin and God's intolerance of it, [He was "angry"] it was an attempt to get people to temper their own transgressions toward each other .  Even the bible shows that Divine Revelation is progressive and that the idols of false human concepts about ourselves, God and the universe are not shattered all at once.   We have been brought to a more and more perfect understanding of ourselves and our God over time.  Progressive revelation has brought us to this point in time where we understand very high spiritual concepts regarding the universe, a higher truth regarding our place in it and our divine identity.  It has also brought many more people to communion with inner- spirit.  Though it is taking time, the effort is bearing fruit and will more so as divine science and divine spirituality merge.

As i mentioned earlier, notwithstanding the false gods [astral beasts] who were angry, the spiritual God has spoken about 'His' anger in the first person because people believed their calamities came from God in response to their sins.   While this is quite true in a sense, what we now know isn't true is that calamities happen as a result of a personally offended remote, angry God.  One aspect of God reality that people keep bumping up against is God's law.  We are dealing with the outworking of an impersonal law.  It is the law which we "offend"... a karmic law originally set in motion as a framework for the increase and return of every good and perfect gift which we have to offer life.  But we have turned the law into a harsh mistress.... an angry god who's face could only be seen in the 'enemy' of our fellow man and in nature's 'wrath' as retribution.

But the law is balanced ... Justice and Mercy.  At times the hammer of justice hits the ground in 'divine retribution'.   It is 'divine' because God allows it due to our own failures, mainly our failure to act from the heart with our fellow souls.  Immense upheavals result from our own misuse of spiritual energy and when it does things are never quite the same again.  But personal and planetary catastrophe never happens without divine attempts to appeal to the soul of humanity and to curb the excesses of the animal nature in man.  These mercies are never forced upon us but are always offered to change our hearts and forstall what hierarchy sees as the consequences of our own recalcitrance and ignor-ance of the law.  There's probably no- one among us who, in past ages when calamity has struck, hasn't shaken an angry fist at the sky and demanded... "Why?"  Yet when people are told why by God's representatives or provoked by conscience they often turn a deaf ear and refuse to change.  Browse a history book and see it repeat.  With few exceptions we've all been there, that's why we're all here.

Spirit is invulnerable to any and all lower vibrations and is not expressive of anger in the human sense...  although divine indignation is real and expressed in the "fury" of the invulnerability of the christic white light to all lower forces.  The human vibration of anger is really a perversion of the God power within us.  Human anger is not a shield and cannot protect us when dealing with angry, defiant, mocking entities,  incarnate or discarnate.  Only when clothed in the spiritual power of the "word" can we command lower forces.  We can develop our inner christ spirit to such a degree that the "word" will be our shield and our sword in defense of life's divine purposes.  For the majority of humanity the word has been judge and executioner for their misuse of sound and energy.  Most of us share in that ancient drama.  But that is about to change.  The opportunity for the transmutation of self is what this "wave" is all about.  The age of aquarius is an outpouring of the holy spirit that will transform consciousness and the planetary body.  It must come through us in order for the golden age to appear... first within us and then in our world.

Certain finite cycles have been given for our soul's fulfillment of the divine plan.  God's patience for the fulfillment of the divine plan is infinite but in order for us to participate in that plan [and because there is a finite timetable] God must show "impatience" by allowing our karmic returns according to that timetable.  Otherwise our role could be ultimately aborted.   God is tolerant but God must show "intolerance" of the human 'condition' or we might never change.  God yields to our freewill but we must yield to God's Will and accept the karmic return of our own creations if we would rise in consciousness.   Else we could get too comfortable in materialism and in the unending desire/ fulfillment loops of the consciousness of anti- christ within ourselves.  Tremendous upheaval is avoidable if we will pay attention to it's causes and to those who speak of it.

Angry?  God is willing and able to force choice and to break the mold of imperfection in human consciousness and in societies built upon it if we will not deconstruct it ourselves.  I agree Mencius, and history has shown us that God is stern enough to let karma be our teacher if need be... that is if we will not heed the inner- spirit and God's messengers as teachers.  The lash need only be as strong as our unwillingness to change 'up' into who we really are.  "Spare the rod [of the karmic law] spoil the child".... but it doesn't have to be that way.  We can come willingly to the feast accepting of our divine identity.  By doing so we can in some measure mitigate the law of karma.  Hierarchy understands the severity of the law and in council they make decisions in the peace of their own divine identity.  They are not angry.  Yet peace is not passive.  They must sometimes allow the hammer of karma to fall but they are active in guiding us again out of the ashes of destruction to another opportunity... and another...

Re: God sez: "No more floods."

The trouble is, you can't trust what God sez, or rather what people say God sez.

Re: God sez: "No more floods."

You can only trust "what people say God sez" if God really said it to or through the person saying it.   If God really does communicate to us through embodied representatives, then it's up to us to discern what God is saying and through whom.  The ultimate reason for God speaking to our outer ear is because we're not so good anymore at recieving the word of truth directly with our inner 'ear' [the heart and mind].  The ultimate purpose for God speaking to the outer ear is to have us re- develop the inner 'ear' so we can be taught directly from the spirit of truth within us.

Because of the perceptual / conceptual distortions within ourselves and our fellows it is hard to trust other people.  The "lost word" is lost.  We have difficulty finding it in ourselves and others because someone with an angle has taken it's place.  The word of God given through a true messenger is a beacon and a tuning fork for the "lost word" within ourselves.  A arc of resonance can stir the soul to recognition that here is a true spiritual teacher.   If this happens it can be a circuit- breaker for that personal "mistruster" which could otherwise fail to recognise the teacher.

The messenger of God is always an imperfect human.  So they are easy to miss barring an interior recognition.
