Re: The Dead Series.
Another logical fallacy used...
"An adverse reaction to the desteni material proves it is correct."
This logic then turns everything around because...
I have an adverse reaction to many things in the bible which proves the bible is correct.
I have an adverse reaction to societal programming which proves societal programming is correct.
I have an adverse reaction to war and killing which proves that war and killing are correct.
My adverse reaction to these things is fear that these things are correct.
As we can see, this is yet another manipulative tactic and logical fallacy used to convince the ego that it is correct.
There is a pattern to be seen in the responses to the pointing out of inconsistencies.
And this is a good chance to test disernment when confronted with ego inspired programmed loops, both in self and others.
If {a:logical fallacy 1:} is false
Then init {b:logical fallacy 2:}
If {b:logical fallacy 2:} is false
Then init {c:logical fallacy 3:}
If {c:logical fallacy 3:} if false
Then init {d:cover concept:*}
If {a,b,c,d} are false
Then call {logic} false
*The "cover concept" is another logical fallacy. The cover concept in this case is "oneness and eqality".
The logical fallacy comes by saying "If you don't believe all that is said then you are against the :cover concept:".
Christians use this quite a bit. If you don't believe in the bible 100%, then you are against the good things in it.
If you don't believe in human created global warming, then you are wanting to kill the planet.
If you don't believe the government is there to help you, then you're a terrorist.
If you don't believe in predatory capitalism then you are a communist.
If you don't believe the full extent of the desteni material then you are against "oneness and equality", which in turn makes you a robot zombie living in fear that condones the horrible things humans have done and will do.
This is a very effective form of propaganda.
At the individual level though, it's more appropriate to call it a logical fallacy than propaganda.
