But more importantly, I've seen him completely flip out a couple of times in a way that looked completely out of balance.  I'm thinking specifically of that Bohemian Grove thing he did with the British film crew.  There was a scene where he was driving along, talking about the NWO, and he just got angrier and angrier until he was screaming and spitting.  I can just imagine what the poor emotionally reserved British folks thought about that.

Yeah, that's why he's been featured in several Richard Linklater movies - Waking Life, and A Scanner Darkly - either driving around in a car up and down the streets shouting to the world through a bullhorn, or standing on the corner screaming at the world through a bullhorn....until he was rounded up and put in a paddy wagon.   Cause that's what Alex does I guess.  He whips himself up into a froth and goes beserk.  It's his trademark.

But the question is....is it real? Or just an act?  wink

Makes me wonder!
____

Over at the Signs forum not too long ago they were questioning Alex's unrelenting energy, his ability to constantly be whipped up into a spittle spewing froth, and for years on end, but I read that and just rolled my eyes.  That's like the pot calling the kettle black.  wink

I did love his interview with Ann Coulter though, the link to which czyx posted awhile back over in my Michael Moore/Ann Coulter thread.  It was very good entertainment.  The way he proved that she has no idea what she's talking about, hasn't read the Patriot Act that she's defending, and doesn't even remember the contents of her own books, books that she supposed wrote!!! it was just astounding.   He was citing all these news clippings and sources right off the top of his head, boom boom boom, and she was sputtering and just kept responding that "that's absurd!" and so on, having NO idea what he was talking about.   Obviously she's not well versed on news that isn't filtered through her [highly programmed] rabid Republican Bush loving filter.  He'd quote her own book to her and she'd stammer and go blank - had no idea what he was talking about, didn't even know her own words or material.   It was really good entertainment, no doubt about it.  He completely shattered the facade she's put on as being this tough, smart, in control Republican who knows what she's talking about.  She's anything but in reality.   I basically came away from his interview realizing she's mind controlled, in a big way.

I think Alex has value for those who are newly wakening to the fact that the main stream news lies, and the government is not operating the way we've been taught, but like any source, use discernment......and don't get stuck in 3rd density conspiracy limbo forever.  We have to move forward, keep progressing with our evolution and understanding by remembering the hyperdimensional component of things, an area that nearly all of these mainstream conspiracy researchers, with the exception of a few such as Jordan Maxwell, David Icke, etc. leave out.

There's no doubt however in listening to Bill Cooper's rebroadcast of Alex's 12/31/99 show that Alex was completely fear mongering his audience in every way.  It was nuts to listen to it.  I was knitting and had to keep reminding myself, Okay, this was 8 years ago...it didn't happen, in fact, nothing happened, remember?

I remember New Year's 2000 - it wasn't at all like what Alex was describing in his broadcast.  I was in Pasadena in the midst of what was probably 100,000 people, people camping out for the next day's Rose Parade, and there to celebrate new year's.  There was a small riot at midnight after the fireworks, due to the large number of people that were there, and I nearly got crushed in a stampede when the LAPD showed up in full riot gear, but my friends yanked me out of the way in time wink  Then on the way back to the car I heckled the hoity toity pseudo-celebs who were walking the red carpet of the "Fantasia 2000" premier with their limos lining the street.  But that's all that happened.  We drove home to Orange County, and that was it.  You would never have known that there was any such thing as "Y2K!!!!" because absolutely nothing happened and life was as quiet as could be, other than New Year's partying and reverie.   So I'm listening to Alex's broadcast going Huh....I bet most people in American on 12/31/99 could have looked out their windows and seen absolutely nothing happening.  A point that Bill Cooper even made, in a paraphrased way.

Anyway, my rambling thoughts.....

Yes, good point, and I was also thinking that with deliberate intent comes a greater level of calculation, persistence, and leverage in that 5% lie, whereas for one whose 5% consists of "random" errors there is not as much coherence or direction among these mistakes. These are both idealized situations of course, and in reality we could have disinfo agents who have been programmed to be unwitting zealots for false paradigms (true believers in untruth) and innocent researchers who have stubborn subconscious complexes or false root assumptions that create a well-defined boundary to where they are willing to go. But overall, I would say that true disinformation, versus misinformation, is more focused and intentional. You can look at what's wrong with it, and analyze how tidy, directional, organized, and cunning the errors are, or whether they really are haphazard products of naivete or lack of discernment.

Good point Montalk.  I was pondering this a bit last night.  I think in this comparison the disinfo agent has 5% poison that is crafted to inflict some sort of damage... while the honest researcher's 5% is one that has no such intention and probably less 'focused', so it is less dangerous.  That, and the honest researcher's works have a higher level of vibration if his intent is benevolent; and will probably encourage you to keep researching.  The disinfo agent will be more likely to try to 'capture' the imagination of people within the walls of paradigm.

Re: Alex Jones: Why is anyone still listening?

I just found out that Alex Jones was born in 1974!!!!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's only a few months older than me, born in the same year!!!  I was listening to part 5 of that Bill Cooper radio show where he's trying to figure out what Alex's deal is, why he's perpetuating disinformation.  He theorizes at one point that maybe it's because he's a young man and hasn't learned yet or something.  I heard "young man" and thought huh?  How old IS he then?  I thought he was as old as Bill Cooper would have been.  So that's when I ran over to imdb.com and saw his birthday listed as February 11, 1974.   Seriously, I thought the dude was pushing 50!!!  big_smile  haha   He looks old on his website and in clips that I've seen of him, and usually it's only old, fed up curmudgeony men who get out there with bullhorns and bellow at the world and have such conservative viewpoints.  Also it's usually older war vets who are Patriots, guys who've done battle and have all that flag waving/patriotic programming in them.   Not Gen X'ers in their 20s.

Man alive....1974.

That means when he first came to my attention in 2002, he was only 28 years old.    Only in his 20's.  And at that point I had assumed he was in his late 40s.  And it means that at the time of this Bill Cooper radio show where he was replaying Alex's New Year's Eve fear mongering and hysteria broadcast, Alex was only 25.  I'm serious, he looks late 40s to me, this boggles my mind.

Wow....well, that certainly explains why he's got so much energy.  He's also Year of the Tiger.  Every astrology book out there will tell you tigers are angry.  haha

Re: Alex Jones: Why is anyone still listening?

Well, now knowing that Alex Jones is as young as he is, and knowing that he was only 25 when he did that crazy New Year's Eve broadcast puts everything into perspective.  For me anyway.  Now I'm like, ohhh...that makes sense. wink Young hotheaded aggressive male in his 20s, who I also discovered today used to do weightlifting.  So there you go.  Excitable youthful folly.  I think many of us were excitable when we were in our 20s, more prone to getting swept up into stuff.  I know I was, anyway.

Also, the big question that emerged during that Bill Cooper radio show was whether Alex was a knowing agent of "them," or just being duped.  Knowing what I know now about his age, I think he's a dupe, who's most likely been programmed, unbeknownst to him.  But I don't think he's a knowing and conscious agent of them.

1974.... Wow!  He's four years YOUNGER than I am!  I also assumed he was old.  I guess anger burns up life force rather quickly, eh?

At the minimum I'd say he is very useful for the power structure because

a) his discernment level is very low, and he loves to be excited, to make others excited, and just general hype; this leads to

b) he is like a sponge, soaking up and distributing verbatim the disinfo agents who are sent to him.  This is something that probably happened/happens to David Icke as well.  So in effect, they are able to steer him in any way that they wish.

c) combine (a) and (b) with a heavy dose of fearmongering, and you have a serious amount of energy harvesting going on here -- being sucked and fed directly to the thoughtforms in control.  The listeners who buy in are all meditating on the power structures in a mostly un-empowered sort of fear-based way -- which is giving them (tptb) energy whether they (the listeners) want to or not.  That is a hell of a lot of loosh.

So while the above is one explanation, it is probably only half the story.  In my opinion he's a conscious agent.  If he isn't, then some stuff just does not make sense, with all the evidence on the matter, and the incongruencies with his story/actions that pop up when researched etc (some of which is linked in the original post).

I totally agree with you on all points.  In fact some of them were exactly the same thing I thought of after logging off yesterday and going about my business.  In particular the idea of disinfo. agents being sent to Alex and his lack of discernment (and research/fact checking as bill cooper noted), as well as excitable nature and the way he seems to enjoy getting everybody wound up.

The only thing I'm still unsure about is this:

visavis wrote:

You're right about the evidence on the matter seeming to point to the idea that he must know what he's doing....but then again, he could just be that unconscious.  Or programmed.   A programmed person, (and we're talking about mind control here, ie, human thems taking him and working him over, I don't mean "personal filters" or "biases" as most probably interpret the word programmed) coupled with an excitable nature and lack of self awareness equals highly unconscious disinfo. agent.

In the end it probably doesn't really matter whether he's a conscious agent or unconscious pawn...all that matters is what he's saying and what his angle is.  And you're right in that it's about working everybody up  and leaving them disempowered, and often times over rumors and hearsay.  So my only advise to anybody who would actively listen to him is to use discernment, and don't stop with the 3rd density conspiracies.  Keep going with your research, because there's a lot that these mainstream guys conveniently aren't talking about......

Re: Alex Jones: Why is anyone still listening?

My first taste of Alex Jones was in the movie "Waking Life."  It was the only part of the movie where I was put-off.  I liked everything I had heard and seen up until the driving-around-telling-people-to-wake-up-loudspeaker scene.

I had no idea who Alex Jones was then, but I knew instantly that I didn't like his approach.  He seemed arrogant, superior, and bossy to me.

Then, when I found out that that guy had a radio show and a website, I checked it out, have looked at it maybe twenty-five times, and always find it bellicose.

There is a place for getting mad as hell and refusing to take it anymore, but that approach must be tempered with clear thinking, planning, and solutions-based discussion or else it disintegrates into a mob mentality.

Re: Alex Jones: Why is anyone still listening?

Investigate his relationship (and the Watson bros.) to...
The John Birch society (controlled by zionists)
Liberty Forum: full of christian zionists!
NOLAJBS.com and its forum: also full of christian zionists

etc.

Then we see that they are in sync with christian zionists.
Alex Jones knows Texe Marrs very well, and Texe is a bit anti-jew and definetly anti-zionist. But they share apocalyptic christian protestant beliefs which, as we know, are used by the PTB as matrix thinking-lock.

Re: Alex Jones: Why is anyone still listening?

hmm...  this is all very interesting information, but nothing new really... Jones' own words and representations show you where his heart is, i think...  and Bill Cooper didnt really prove anything with his talk either... even though he says he doesnt say anything without proof...    i would say that i personally trust Cooper more than Jones, if only because Cooper is dead and Jones is running rampantly free while he says ALMOST the same things as Cooper did...  But how does anyone know that Cooper wasnt an agent as well?  that he didnt just get terminated after his usefullness ran out to give him more credibility...  it seems that his death is the largest source for credibility...  i have read "Behold, A Pale Horse" and i found it very intriguing and hard to come by, but proof?  none.

i've had a funny feeling about Jones ever since i started listening to him, but he  earns his respect because he woke me up.  i agree that following him is dangerous... i myself went crazy during my dismantling.

i guess i just remain unconvinced of anything at the moment...

Re: Alex Jones: Why is anyone still listening?

I agree that Bill Cooper told many things that are farfetched and unproovable.
He was certainly manipulated in some measure.
I don't read his work at all (I just read "Behold a pale horse" once and I definetly prefered the Cs' take on this subject).

I think that is a possibility, ie. that he might be just heavily programmed, as opposed to the other possibility in my books... that he's a type of conscious disinfo agent.

Something to ponder and figure out:

What is the difference between a disinfo agent who says 5% lies, and an honest researcher whose errors make up 5% falsehoods?

The difference is the deliberate intent to lie, but both have negative outcomes.

Falsehood can reveal either misinformation or disinformation.  To tell if you're dealing specifically with disinformation, I think that you've got to look at the falsehoods that you find in context.

*If they're imbedded in propaganda, that is, communicated in a way that's oversimplistic, emotionalizing, and sloganish, then there's your first clue that you're dealing with disinfo.

*If the falsehoods reflect a constellation of logical fallacies, like personal attacks, red herrings, straw mans, appeals to authority, then there's a second big clue.

If the falsehoods contain both propaganda and a lot of poor logic, it's reasonable to conclude that the information was culled for dissemination in a conscious way--especially if you see slogans.  It takes a lot of mental work to include red herrings and to formulate arguments that sidetrack people.  Obviously, those logical fallacies can be commited by people who are rationalizing away pieces of information that don't fit into their worldview, but--like I said--they're clues, not proof.

More clues:

*If the falsehoods reflect a consistently extreme and unbalanced point-of-view, there's another clue.  (They're defending a position instead of encouraging a search for a complete picture).

*Vagueness.  True communicators of truth are clear and concise, and give you what you need to put things together for yourself.

*Authoritarianism.  This harks back to logical fallacy, but is worth mentioning because, again, true communicators of truth encourage you to figure things out for yourself--not blindly trust authority.

*Discouragement of Critical Analysis.  This supported by the emotionalizing effect of propaganda.  It is necessary for disinfo agents to discourage analysis because deep critical analysis undoes everything that they work for.

How many of these are reflected in Alex Jones?
