Topic: Alex Jones: Why is anyone still listening?

I know many on NR are familiar with Alex Jones' questionable background, behaviour, and associations - and with the links below.  However, he still holds the ear of many alternative researchers.  Why?  Perhaps because he is convincing, or perhaps as a woo-woo 'shock-jock' he knows how to press our buttons, manipulate our yearning for a "great revealing of truth", and get us to rally around what seems like a good idea/person/belief pattern (as most 'intel'-trained individuals do).  I was previously an advocate for some of Alex Jones' films as recently as last year.  Though it's always difficult finding out a negative truth of someone you've previously supported, it was also was sort of a relief which confirmed some early niggling suspicions... which I have to say were initially set aside.

So, below are a few links which will maybe help a few people get up to speed on Alex Jones.  Bill Cooper's audio program on Alex Jones (in the 6 part YouTube section below) is probably the most clear evidence that there is something really wrong with the Alex Jones camp.  In addition to some terrific observational comments, this contains a lot of the actual Dec 31, 1999 hysterical broadcast of Alex Jones.

The big picture makes more sense when we realize it's big. The disinfo and twisting of the public's good intentions occurs with probably most of the 'alternative' and new age sources on some level - especially if they are heavily promoted, or mostly likely* if they go on and on for years without sanction.  (* Most likely, but not always, as there are possibly/probably individuals here at this time who have some sort of special protection for a specific purpose within the public eye for the greater good, negating attack or continually escaping being murdered - but be discerning about this also, as these types of missions are probably few and far between.)

I would suggest that the only valid reason to listen to or watch any of Alex Jones' media/propaganda, would be for the same reason one would watch CNN... to observe propaganda in action.  Though, as even listening with this awareness could leave one still susceptible to entrainment, those who are on a path of pollution-riddance would choose not to listen.  While those who are into studying the art of propaganda and charismatic entrainment, might still.

Re: Alex Jones: Why is anyone still listening?

Bill Cooper announced that terror attacks against the US would be blamed on Bin Laden.
He was killed in summer of 2001.
Alex Jones took the credit of being the "prophet" in place of Cooper.

sickening.

Jones hides so much things...

Have you heard about disinfo agent Joyce Riler who manipulated and destroyed war veteran Peter Kawaja? Alex Jones is friends with Joyce and never talks about Peter.

Thanks for posting these visvis, I just started listening.  I'll post comments later if anything in particular catches my attention......

Just a note Visavis that your links for parts 4 and 5 are the same URLs - so you're missing part 5.....

Re: Alex Jones: Why is anyone still listening?

I still listen to Alex Jones. Some people think he is a vatican agent or works for the CIA , I have seen no evidence of that sure that clip back from 1999 potrays he in a bad light but it doesn't make him a CIA agent. The shows that I have been hearing from Alex are not fearing mongering so I'm not gonna judge him from something that happened way back when.

Also Alex Jones has woken alot of people up to the dangers of vaccines, 9/11 , NWO, etc. so I think the good he has done far outweighs any negatives.

I don't think that anyone exposing the obvious is open to ridicule.

Most liars tell truths 95 % of the time. It is strategic. Tell enough truths, spin it and turn it into misinfo/disinfo.

Re: Alex Jones: Why is anyone still listening?

Something to ponder and figure out:

What is the difference between a disinfo agent who says 5% lies, and an honest researcher whose errors make up 5% falsehoods?

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

Does that mean that anyone who appears, on the surface, to be on your side gets a carte blanche?  Hmm, no offence, but that seems like a very dangerous policy you have there, of certain people being "above" the realm in which one can be questioned, because they are exposing things (which have previously been exposed by other researchers anyways), so their intentions must be "good".

A couple of suggestions:
a) The "divide and conquer" mentality so evident in NWO-type policy stretches far beyond the area of political parties and even nations.... and can easily account for controlled opposition even in alternative media.
b) It is often the case that anyone that appears to fight something is in fact lending energy to that very idea and thus in league with it either implicitly or explicitly.  Let's take an example whereby Alex convinced the whole world to be in an agitated state of powerless panic (which he loves to be the maestro of), that "the NWO is coming".  I submit that seven billion minds focusing on the same thing would efficiently produce the very object of focus.  The principle of the manifestation of thought cares not whether the object of meditation is good or bad.

On the other hand, a state of empowered, action-oriented meditation for change, charged with righteous self-spirit-power from a clear intent & not twisted/harnessed by malevolent entities; would be a very different thing -- especially when followed up by practical action, as opposed to a state of disempowerment.  The object of focus is key - because it is the object of focus which invariably receives energy.

The difference is the deliberate intent to lie, but both have negative outcomes.

Yes, good point, and I was also thinking that with deliberate intent comes a greater level of calculation, persistence, and leverage in that 5% lie, whereas for one whose 5% consists of "random" errors there is not as much coherence or direction among these mistakes. These are both idealized situations of course, and in reality we could have disinfo agents who have been programmed to be unwitting zealots for false paradigms (true believers in untruth) and innocent researchers who have stubborn subconscious complexes or false root assumptions that create a well-defined boundary to where they are willing to go. But overall, I would say that true disinformation, versus misinformation, is more focused and intentional. You can look at what's wrong with it, and analyze how tidy, directional, organized, and cunning the errors are, or whether they really are haphazard products of naivete or lack of discernment.

Well put, as usual Montalk.  The idea that the 5% will be calculated to be more devastating was what came immediately to my mind when I read that.  It usually serves a double purpose of making 'believers' look more outlandish and foolish than the random 5% of the sincere.

I wanted to add:  I've always had misgivings about Alex, so it's good to see some reinforcement for those feelings.  First off, he's heavily Christian, which always makes me scrutinize more.

But more importantly, I've seen him completely flip out a couple of times in a way that looked completely out of balance.  I'm thinking specifically of that Bohemian Grove thing he did with the British film crew.  There was a scene where he was driving along, talking about the NWO, and he just got angrier and angrier until he was screaming and spitting.  I can just imagine what the poor emotionally reserved British folks thought about that.

Re: Alex Jones: Why is anyone still listening?

Personally I don't go for all these accusations that conspiracy researchers hurl at each other -- that's just the sort of divisiveness that the Powers That Be love to see. Of course our reality maps aren't going to match in every detail, how could they? It's like when people argue about who's behind 9/11 or the JFK assassination. Is it The Jews, or the Vatican? The Satanists? The Royal Family? The Lizard People? The Space Nazis? It bugs me when excellent journalists get accused of being disinformation agents merely for refusing to consider that 9/11 was an inside job. Maybe that refusal is nothing more than the desire not to be associated with "the tin-foil hat brigade". I can't say I blame them.

Given how unlikely it is that any of us will meet Illuminati masters face to face, we're like the blind men feeling different parts of the elephant -- & then arguing about it. You even have folks arguing not only about who really runs the show, but about whether we should have any cause for hope. And then there's the argument over strategies: violent or non-violent revolution? Work within the system, or start all over? IMO, the folks you really have to watch out for are the provocateurs, like the fake anarchists who invite violent crackdowns on peaceful demonstrations -- like the ones who were exposed as cops in Canada recently.

For now I've decided not to bother trying to change people's minds about anything -- it just adds more noise. And I've decided to stop being afraid.

Mucho Blessings.
