Topic: NR'ers: The Outsiders

This will be a kind of summary of NR’s several threads. In fact I could easily add this to several threads, but it will be better to start a new topic. I began to read Frank DeMarco’s book Muddy Tracks recently. DeMarco is an attendee of Monroe Istitute OBE studies for over 5 years and he writes his experiences in this book. It goes really good, but I’d like to quote from the Foreword written by Colin Wilson. His foreword includes some topics we’ve been talking on NR lately.

Colin Wilson wrote

… My own work had played a part in his (DeMarco’s) development, which is how I come to be writing this introduction. It helped to crystallize his own feeling that there is something oddly wrong with “this life” and there has to be some alternative , some other way. I had experienced the same odd sense of suffocation during my own teens and for me it crystallized in T.S. Elliot’s phrase “Where is the life we have lost in living?” I began to collect material about what I called “Outsiders”, misfits who had experienced this same sense of not really belonging to our down-to-earth reality. The romantics of the 19th century felt the same, and often committed suicide, or died of a kind of self-induced despair at the thought that there is no alternative.

What fascinated me so much were these glimpses of overwhelming delight and affirmation, the kind of thing that led Van Gogh to paint “Starry Night” and made Nijinsky write in his diary: “I am God, I am God”. Were they sheer illusion – as Van Gogh believed when he committed suicide? In states of depression and fatigue, it was easy to believe this. But then there were other moments, states of immense happiness and confidence, in which it was obvious that human beings are far stronger than they realize.

It was this question that led me to write my first book, The Outsider, in 1955… the question that I later dramatized in the science-fiction novel The Mind Parasites…

… what continues to obsess me is the notion that human beings are on the verge of a new step in their evolution and that it is in the process of occuring at this moment. It seems clear to me that for well over three thousand years, human conscioussness has been trapped by survival needs in a narrow “left brain” vision and that it is now virtually cul-de-sac. Research into a book on the so-called alien abduction phenomena has convinced me that something very strange is happening and that we are on the verge of some great change. It seems to me that there is much evidence that the “aliens” – or some of them – are attempting to “midwife” the human race to a new stage of conscioussness.

Why do I feel that Monroe’s insights are so important to the present time? I can illustrate the answer by pointing to a recent book called The Threat by my fellow researcher David Jacobs, who is convinced that the human race is about to be taken over by the aliens, who will overrun us as the Nazis once hoped to overrun the world. His book left me worried, for thirty years of research have certainly taught him more about UFO’s than I shall never now. Then I thought about Frank DeMarco and his book and suddenly became aware that Jacobs is leaving out of account what Monroe knew and what DeMarco knows: that in this strange “multiverse” there are powerful forces for good as well as evil and that if we remain trapped “downstairs”, in a kind of worm’s eye view of reality, we shall inevitably take a pessimistic view of the future.

Colin Wilson’s conclusion is very important for me. ‘Cause the opposite question was on my mind for long time, I wrote that on Loosh production thread or on Michael Newton’s studies – why haven’t they mention about the potential dangers? This is really a point of view. M. Newton or DeMarco or Monroe did not concentrate on dark side. This is not something good or bad. This is their choice. But mine is different. Of course I will not begin a crusade upon Dark side – which would put us in same line – but I’d like to learn about their ways/strategy. Because they probably know about my possible reactions very well. I observe this planet is full of “problems” which may trigger some exact “reactions” in me and someone will always be ready to offer me a “solution” which fits his agenda. As ignorance endangers, it’s good to know. Or as Tom once wrote, this is like three little pig story. Once the house is strong, wolf can not come in. It’s a matter of openness to manipulation afterwards (of course again it comes to ignorance).

By the way, DeMarco writes about Ancient Egypt priests who said “I of my knowledge tell you that this is the truth”. Their formula was not “This is what I have been taught” or “This is what I heard”. Again we recently spoke on this in several threads. And Tom’s latest article gives great info on intuitive ways to gather knowledge. In today’s world, it’s not so logical – also not possible – to find everything by oneself. Of course we’ll learn, read, search, consider other’s opinions and knowledge but our OWN spice to the meal comes from intuition. What do new knowledge mean to you – not only to left hemispehere, but also to right hemisphere, to your heart and even to your stomach? Remember gut feeling? Yep, we have same biologoic receptors in our gastrointestinals as our brain. It’s wise to pay attention to stomach!

So, my fellow Outsider NR’ers, it’s good to know there are some restless people who seriously FEEL there’s something wrong around, who has that “splinter in the brain”. And more than that, who knows we are far more POWERFUL than we’ve believed till now. As SiriArc always reminds; Transmute, Transform, Transcend.

We’re on the way.

P.S: I, of my own experience suggest you to read these while listening to Peter Gabriel’s Genesis’ wonderful music. Particularly The Cinema Show from 1973 Selling England By the Pound album and especially Carpet Crawlers from 1974 The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway album. Somehow we got in and now it’s time to get out:

Carpet Crawlers

There is lambswool under my naked feet.
The wool is soft and warm,
- gives off some kind of heat.
A salamander scurries into flame to be destroyed.
Imaginary creatures are trapped in birth on celluloid.
The fleas cling to the golden fleece,
Hoping they'll find peace.
Each thought and gesture are caught in celluloid.
Theres no hiding in my memory.
Theres no room to avoid.

The crawlers cover the floor in the red ochre corridor.
For my second sight of people, they've more lifeblood than before.
Theyre moving in time to a heavy wooden door,
Where the needles eye is winking, closing in on the poor.

The carpet crawlers heed their callers:
Weve got to get in to get out
Weve got to get in to get out
Weve got to get in to get out.

Theres only one direction in the faces that I see;
Its upward to the ceiling, where the chambers said to be.
Like the forest fight for sunlight, that takes root in every tree.
They are pulled up by the magnet, believing theyre free.

The carpet crawlers heed their callers:
Weve got to get in to get out
Weve got to get in to get out
Weve got to get in to get out.

Mild mannered supermen are held in kryptonite,
And the wise and foolish virgins giggle with their bodies glowing Bright.
Through a door a harvest feast is lit by candlelight;
Its the bottom of a staircase that spirals out of sight.

The carpet crawlers heed their callers:
Weve got to get in to get out
Weve got to get in to get out
Weve got to get in to get out.

The porcelain mannikin with shattered skin fears attack.
The eager pack lift up their pitchers - they carry all they lack.
The liquid has congealed, which has seeped out through the crack,
And the tickler takes his stickleback.

The carpet crawlers heed their callers:
Weve got to get in to get out
Weve got to get in to get out
Weve got to get in to get out.

P.S II: If some of you believe today’s popular pop-rap-pure crap is “music”, your favourite Rock DJ Feritciva suggests to think again.

Re: NR'ers: The Outsiders

Feritciva, good post. Ive read Monroe and Colin Wilson.(Wilson's book, "From Atlantis To The Sphinx" was very interesting to me)  Ive been looking for some good reading, so I will check out DeMarco's book.  smile

Re: NR'ers: The Outsiders

So, DeMarco is finished. With a good summary at the end of the book;

My own experiences convince me of ten interrelated points:

1. We are immortal spirits temporarily inhabiting bodies.

2. This life is not our only life.

3. We “individuals” are all connected to one another.

4. We as individuals are fragments of a larger being that cares about us and can be trusted.

5. Nonetheless, this larger/higher being sees things differently. Down here in 3D theater, we can’t help identifying with the here-and-now. Indeed, that’s what we’re here to do. But naturally anything that has its being in a framework outside of time and space sees things differently. What is desperately real to us would be a dream to it and what is important to it maybe nonexistent to our consciousness. We almost always forget the larger reality when we enter this one. Monroe says the noise of unfocused human mental and emotional activity is too great for us to function outside 3D theater.

6. The larger being is a source of foresight and wisdom. The larger being cannot live our life for us. This would deprive us of choice and of growth which is the result of choice. But it sees outside of time and it has insights that can help us stay “on the beam” and live this life to the fullest.

7. The larger being contacts us, sometimes sending dreams, sometimes visions, sometimes hunches or “knowings”. It works through intuition regularly and sometimes automatic writing, spontaneous recall, coincidence etc. Anytime that you hear or see something that resonates, your larger being may be taking advantage of an opportunity to get something across.

8. We can conract the larger being. Some call it prayer, some meditation, some asking for guidance.

9. Thus our lives need not be disconnected and solitary. We are always in intimate connection with the larger, wiser being we sometimes call our Higher Self; because we are part of this higher Self as fingers are part of a hand.

10. Nonetheless, we may often lose communication. The intimate connection cannot be severed but communication maybe, and often is, distorted, neglected or forgotten. Many never even learn of the possibility of such intimate communication. Obviously if you don’t believe it exists, you don’t try to communicate with it and don’t listen when it communicates with you.

DeMarco is a humble seeker with no special education or initiation on occult or metaphysics. His experiences - especially with Monroe Institute - give these results to him, which are possibly very close to ours here in NR.

Very close indeed, fasinating, this is exactly were my thoughts have been.
When we do make that connection, when the awareness is raise, when the higher self speaks, when we are in tune, it is very alien but very beautifull.
An understanding of how this life experience is meant to be lived and broken or completed.
When complete it is time to move on into the Infinite.

Re: NR'ers: The Outsiders

Excellent post, ferit.
There's a whole bunch of us "Outsiders" here at NR.
I've always liked Colin Wilson's work.  Very accessible.
And your take on music is right on.  Very little music since
the seventies has had the weight and resonance that that
era had.  It's time for a new wave of revolutionary music
like there was in the 60's and 70's.  Music that's REAL.
Not all this contrived evil RAP crap which is nothing but
negative programming.

Thanks for this post.

There are indeed "powerful forces for good" that are as determined to free us from the trap of illusory existence as there are forces of entropy (evil) that would sustain this material, holographic STS world indefinitely. The outsiders (called Wanderers by Ra and the Renegade Family of Light by the Pleiadians)  have chosen to incarnate on Earth in great numbers at this time so as to break the stranglehold of negativity that claims dominion over this sector of reality.

Thought, awareness, vibration, sound, and light impact (form, mold) the physical properties of material creation.  It is no accident that dark energies promote "music" with either guttural sounds that awaken primitive, lizard-brain feelings or shrieking atonal sounds and rhythms that distress the body complex and assault the higher mind. The dark controllers understand the importance of jamming circuitry within the mind/body complex and drawing consciousness away from the natural evolutionary spiral that is at work at this time.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out the dark have met some powerful opposition in their plans for world domination.  The sheer preposterous desperation of tactics used to "control" reality and undermine individual efforts to break free demonstrate there is more than one force at work, with the opposing force at least as powerful as the "dominant" negative force working so feverishly to enslave all aspects of material creation.

Re: NR'ers: The Outsiders

New rap music is so bad it hurts.  I've noticed that it is extremely repetitive, and trance inducing.  It makes your mind go into a loop that traps you.  All the while it pounds you with degenerative themes.  It seems to me that the music has got progressively worse over the past couple years.  This sort of thing is all they play on the big radio stations.  I'd say your right on Tom by calling it negative programming.

Re: NR'ers: The Outsiders

There is a lot of good, positive, creative, intelligent "Rap" music out there. The reason you believe rap is worthless, is because that's what your radio has programmed you to believe. Some of the messages in rap music are very progressive and revolutionary. They do not want you to listen to this. So they play the absolute worst "artists" on the radio to steer you away.

To think that what the radio is feeding you is the best out there......well just don't become too narrow minded because of it.

There is a lot of excellent rap music out there, I was only speaking about the stuff that is played on the radio.

Re: NR'ers: The Outsiders

got it! Yeah the radio stuff's pretty whack

A local portland dj "DJ Wicked" did a mix disk titled "f*ck the Radio" not to long ago. CD was alright, but the message was great.....

Some of the radio stations have a few good shows now and then anyway, but more often just nonsense......

Re: NR'ers: The Outsiders

A good rap song with excellent lyrics is Nitin Swaney's "Displacing the Priest". After 30 minutes searching I couldn't find the lyrics online, but download the song. Some intersting messages there....

Re: NR'ers: The Outsiders

Here's more on music: http://www.realitysandwich.com/music_quantum_lattice

Music of the Quantum Lattice

In the field of high-energy physics, a rapidly rising theory called "Lattice Quantum Chromodynamics" (Lattice QCD) proposes that an invisible, all-pervasive structure exists beneath atomic structure. As a long overdue replacement for the vacuous space-time continuum, we are now poised for a return to the ancient worldview of a musical universe described by Pythagorean harmonic science.

......

When we listen to music, we can hear the polyhedrons of mineral crystals and the cardioids of life in the interference patterns of harmonics. Since our brains also grew inside this resonating lattice, we instantly recognize complex harmonic proportions in melodies and chords. And as music moves through this lattice, we instinctively follow and anticipate the directional flow of energy in each combination of tones with absolutely no effort at all. From simple auditory shapes to vast landscapes and structures, music projects our dreams through the neural lattice of our brain while quantum energy projects our reality through the Lattice QCD. How could it be otherwise?

In the final analysis, Lattice QCD theory is really just the long awaited sequel to the Pythagorean Music of the Spheres that describes everything - atoms, plants, animals and planetary orbits - as a musical harmony. This has always been (and always will be) the easiest way to grasp the form, function and beauty of the quantum space lattice. With the advent of Lattice QCD, it is only a matter of time before science and society will once again agree to see nature as a kind of crystallized music. When it does, the world will become a very different place.

I can take this literally. I have always "felt" immediately where a music piece flows and takes my consciousness to. So, I stick to 70's progressive & symphonic rock which can ascend you, not descend or stick to some dark energies/feelings.
