Topic: the deception and risk of LHP, and how it fits into the larger picture

Namaste.

I would like to share a bit of my story. I started out in spirituality about three years ago, not knowing anything. I had some stints with the RHP(RightHandPath), but I ultimately veered towards the LHP(LeftHandPath), and began to take it very seriously, in a good and noble light. I thought it was the right thing for me. Later I started to feel that it was lacking, and I thought that since LHP and RHP were equal but different ways of reaching the same thing, that I would find the same lack in the RHP. So I started to create something entirely new of my own, as I felt it was my best (and only) option in this modern time of conspiracy and spiritual decadence. Now I realize that this vein of originality is precisely the path leading out of the LHP once one has mastered what they can from it. It turns out that the LHP is a false path, and I did not fully realize this at all. Now I realize that it was indeed an excellent way to go at first, and now I must go elsewhere, towards the middle and perhaps right. There is no nobility in the LHP in essence, although they would claim just the opposite. What there is is great evil, as well as utterly unique opportunity to learn of this evil so as to later transcend it in life and in the universe. The RHP needs LHP information to be able to truly overcome the LHP, and this is the flaw of the RHP new-age spiritual movement today, largely infiltrated by the LHP that makes it decadent. This is why new-age spirituality hesitates to tackle the issues of socio-/geo-political and economic conspiracy to their full spiritual extent.

I thought that I could change the minds of evil ones with knowledge, since theirs is an utterly illogical way shrouded in ignorance, as they are all wrapped up in their own lies. I realize now that I can only help those who have legitimately dupped themselves; the fundamental LHP power players are in nature archetypal of the negative aspect of creation, the aetheric dragons (in Yin/Yang dichotomy to the phoenix), purposeful, meaningful, and eternal parts of the universe. Theirs is a difficult task indeed, to bear such aspects/elements of universal procession/creation as pride and evil; in this sense of necessity do I respect them fully, but for all intents and purposes in terms of good and evil, they are not noble. Rather, noble are those who have freedom of will and learn from the LHP in the interest of good and who manage to extracate themselves from the LHP safely afterwards! Especially now as 2012 approaches is it important to understand the LHP. Consider the complexity, profundity, and scope of the conspiracy, in all its nuances, nooks, and crannies, and you begin to realize just how much knowledge of true wisdom the LHP has. It is difficult to see because normally a being with a free will could not at once simultaneously be so evil and possess such wisdom; in truth, those powerful ones of the LHP who have such wisdom are immortal in a static kind of way, they cannot change or evolve, they are archetypal, and they are the test and trickster aspects of creation. They help us in many ways, and ultimately they allow for freedom of will to exist in the first place (that we have a choice), but although they can wish to want to truly help us, truly they cannot want to help us. Some of them, like Set, pretend to want to help us, to lure us in, and in luring us in do they offer legitimate wisdom and aid; it is not a foolish tactic, for they are not free of will but are parts of the universe, and the universe is not evil.

Some of them claim that wisdom is hidden in evil, a treasure to be discovered at one's own peril. In truth, wisdom is universal, and only certain aspects of Truth lie in the LHP, to the extent that the LHP is a very large and important and influential aspect of reality to accept and understand. Wisdom cannot be possessed, it can be conceptualized in understanding which may be realized from an individual perspective in terms of knowledge. The Qabalah is an excellent example of a neutral aspect of the universe, which in its neutrality cannot give fully fair warning of the LHP's true risks and dangers, for lessons of disharmony are not truly lessons if they do not trick you. My experience with the LHP has not been unhappy, but quite to the contrary, especially at the end. It is important to realize that lessons of disharmony do not need to be painful, for truly nothing can be perfectly harmonious. The middle way is truly the only way.

Great discourse if only I knew what LHP and RHP meant.

Re: the deception and risk of LHP, and how it fits into the larger picture

Could you explain a little bit about what "LHP" and "RHP" are?  Is this one system, two systems, etc., and what do they stand for?

Sorry! LHP = Left Hand Path, RHP = Right Hand Path

I have edited this into the original post.

Did you mean what are they more specifically?

I have been a student both academically and practically of the LHP for years and I feel your discourse was filled with half-truths and honestly, a bit of emotively-based propaganda. The LHP has never portrayed itself as the easy path, by it's very nature it's the riskier of routes. So when you talk of the 'risk of LHP' it's like saying 'the heat of flame'. Very few people understand the internal meanings of the LHP and even fewer are suited to follow the path. Anyone who think it's an easy way out or a spiritual excuse for libertine behaviour is in for a rude, rude shock.

I don't know specifically what tradition you come from Transcix, though I would hazard a guess at Western LHP (Setian). I would distrust anything asscociated with Michael Aquino who was allegedly involved in MKULTRA. I personally have found all the western systems juvenile at best surrounded in gothic campiness. I would advise anyone interested in exploring the LHP to look at the eastern approach which has a stronger history and philosophy.

My main point in all this is that ultimately the lessons of the LHP must be integrated into a middle path awareness, do you disagree here? The LHP can indeed be an end in itself, but I should have clarified, not a desireable one. That the LHP has never portrayed itself as the easy path is a half-truth in itself.. is it ultimately easier to be ignorant and weak or to work hard and become healthy and strong? Ease is relative, and is an aspect of the LHP that can trap you, because if you get caught up in the difficulty and discipline of it all then you forget the flow and naturalness of it and always offset simplicity and harmony of the Now for future rewards.. in truth the LHP is difficult partly in this sense, but only partly, as most of the difficulty has to do with ignorance and how well you make decisions in terms of choosing your fights wisely, knowing *where* to go and how to proceed...  ultimately I think the LHP teaches that it is easiest to always move towards the difficulty, towards the friction, for anything else is escapism. To become the flame, as opposed to try and touch it, is painless except when you make mistakes, it does not *need* to burn or to be painful. It is difficult in terms of complexity and knowledge and realizing how not to make mistakes, how to be the flame without being other than it and trying to touch it.

Note that I am not talking about any LHP system in particular, and of course it goes without saying that much of what is out there is bunk, especially in the West.

Transix,

You defined the abbreviations LHP and RHP at the beginning of what you wrote . so I think that that part is clear. One thing, though, because of the shift that is occuring, the dark and light are polarizing into extremes, so there is no middle path, really, you either choose Light or you choose Dark and that choice is made in each moment over and over again. Sometimes to survive we have to live in a gray area for the time being. I think that this is what makes people who are on the lightworker path so uncomfortalbe these days. The LHP is touted in the popular culture as being valid and they don't let people in on the dangers of the lower astral in particular and the astral in general, they promote using psi skills and energy manipulation for egoisti and materialistic purposes. And I agree, if I hadn't naviely entered that path and bumbled along on it I wouldn't understand it and I would not have begun my present cycle of knowing that I want to be liberated from any type of soul enslavement to materialistic forces. It is all energy from here on in.

That, in a nutshell, is exactly the same conclusion that I have come to, and that the whole purpose of wll of both the Eastern and Western LHP is to bypass karma and to create as you put it, a static immortality which: does, takes, uses, exploits and robs energy in order to perpetuate itself at a high level that squeezes every last drop of advantage and gratification from every soul, life force energy, situation, being, planet, organism that it possibly can. So, again, the middle way is eroding, and soon it will be time to choose, because as they say, "As above, so below." Whom or what do you serve? And even if it is your own soul essence-the same quesiton applies-lala

Namaste lala, we think alike... and lol, I edited the definitions of LHP and RHP into the original post, they were previously lacking. smile I have to go out now but I thought I would mention that first..

Re: the deception and risk of LHP, and how it fits into the larger picture

Ultimately the distinction between the two paths is relative, just as is the distinction between STS and STO... but the thing is that, somewhere within all of this, a dual choice *must* be affirmed for individual evolution to truly proceed in a proper way. Therefore relatively speaking these conceptual dichotomies hold much weight, relatively as in "for all intents and purposes", that is, in considering how would should evolve one's self in simultaneous oneness and difference to that which is beyond all duality.

Ultimately one cannot be LHP without being a bit RHP, and one cannot be RHP without being a bit LHP... it is a matter of leaning more in one direction than the other.. understanding that in essence one leans at least somewhat in both directions.. unless a one-sided coin can ever exist.. then the pivotal question of dual choice is a matter of vectoring one's self in a dynamic pattern of fractal evolution. How one chooses to realize the fractal core that they shall become, as the HigherSelf is remembered/created, this couples various modalities together, among which includes leaning more towards either the RHP or the LHP. There are countless ways to traverse either path, closely connected to the countless ways of choosing between the dual choice of STS and STO. You work on all dual choices at once, progressively through life: this is the journey. Eventually you are able to look at the choices you have made and stand from somewhat of a platfrom, for you have created solid enough groud to take a more conscious interest and agency in your own evolution: it is a lesson of subtlety and discnerment, the middle way.

Lala, I think that to affirm choice between light and dark, this is the middle way. To be ignorant of the opportunity of this choice, this is to become either Evil or a victim. I do not think the middle path is eroding, per se. I do agree that we are living in a grey area if we are aware of the opportunity to choose, and that is the struggle right now: to help others realize the choice and to come together through information technologies and establish knowledge about the middle way that we are affirming in choosing good over evil. There is much to say about this, and yet it is not getting through. This hides the choice, because one is lead to think that if there really was a choice then more people would already be conscious of the opportunity and working with it; such is not the case, the conspiracy runs far deeper than we care to admit. Even on this web site, largely it is not getting through. Many do not realize that Evil is like a robot, it does not feel, it becomes archetypal, unable to evolve, a frigid and undesireable immortality as opposed to what the middle path offers. Evil would have us believe that the middle path offers immortality in the sense of integration into All in a kind of homogenous blob of undifferentiated oneness: the opposite is true, and such a blob is just what *Evil* is! They know this and are jealous, but moreover it is what they must do, for at essence they are a universal archetype, the dragon as opposed to the phoenix, and evil is needed for freedom of will to evolve. This is all part of the plan. The point is that most people even on this site do not realize that many other people even on this site are part of this robotic Evil and so are not mindful to suspect posts on this site of containing propaganda in the most insidious of fashions. They assume we all have good intentions, for who would waste so much time to mislead us by pretending to be asking the wrong questions, how can people spend all their time posting here to mislead people when they have to lead real lives IRL, too? They live in the astral, which those bad bad things, they enjoy this, they enjoy being evil, and they will never reveal to you that they are evil, they pretend to be good. They do not realize they have a choice for something better, for they cannot imagine something better because they actually like what they have. They do not feel, they are numb, lost in non-local timeless aetheric and astral static energy that smothers their emotions. This is how the universe works, and although at first it is cause for sadness, ultimately it is cause for celebration for you may liberate yourself and you must content yourself with this and realize that you are not alone in your masterhood, we are many, and we fight back by creating as much harmony together as we can, which is enjoyable for us as well as noble.

Re: the deception and risk of LHP, and how it fits into the larger picture

Transix,
this is some good writing and very clear. That is why I think that I become so confused with what is really going on or what the middle path is, you are right it is the awareness that there is a choice to be made in each moment, and the denial of that choice is what is constantly being messed with through deception. Most people who are trying to grow in awareness and choice make the mistake of believing that most other people are basically good and want to change and grow and feel. I/we don't stop to think that there is such a strong current of the unfeeling, mechanized force running through existence that it will always play itself out in any group that is working with consciousness. The LHP provides the accelerated, booby-trapped route to seeing how choice operates at every moment. The more one uses all the wisdom of that path the more one gets indoctrinated into the ease with which manipulating energy for STS works best for those that do not care about other beings, so to continue to use that skill set, one has to remain uncaring, which eventually can only backfire if one is a truly sentient being, because the result of not caring is to become a person incapable of truly loving the self or others and that becomes a prison-hell that makes one rigid in their power. It is like cutting a deal: if you start to care you lose all of the benefits and advantages gained through not caring.d
I appreciate your post-lala

I concur good sir/madam. Though again you would have to have a 'middle path' definition. Not too long ago I was a rabid atheist for about a month. It was the first time in at least ten years that I'd even thought of a world without a spiritual element. There were other factors involved, but the main reason that I swayed from atheism is that like any other belief system it contains flaws. It still felt like it was 'fighting' against something. I have gotten to the point where I'm tired of believing in something where there is constant resistance against another idea. Dualism sucks (Articulate, I know).

I came to the conclusion that all no one belief system can accurately model 'the universe' or 'the truth' because those concepts are way too huge to be contained and dealt with in a mind. So every model past, present or perhaps even future will be inaccurate, and maybe even more misleading than it is enlightening. Even so, one might argue that some models are more 'accurate' or 'truthful' than others. But then again, how do we know that if we don't know the truth in the first place?

So at the moment I am in a very interesting headspace, and probably would label myself a Mystical Nihlist. wink
