Topic: The architect and God

Hello,
I wanted to share some insights about the "Creator"...I'd like to know your feeling about it.

I've always felt a very strong love inside my heart, nameless and kind to everyone and everything.
I've always thought this was what people call "God".
But since I've came across conspiracy theories, matrix and stuff like that, a strong doubt came into my mind, as if it was another creator somewhere, and since that time I felt very bad, depressed and I lost faith in everything.

I'm beginning to have faith again because I can see this way of seeing the creation is not useful to live here, it makes me suspect everything and everyone, dividing people and things into "STO" and "STS".

When I look at things with my heart, in an innocent way, I can "see" life in everything, and people building illusions around it.

I think that lack of love is just the right place for illusions to grow, because Love is truth and doesn't tolerate lies and illusions.

WE let illusions, other beings and false ideas take over our very true nature, but nobody never forced us to do so, helping to build a false creation around it.

I like to see things in that way, it's more realistic and helpful to have faith in change, and it makes us powerful and not victims of some evil plans brought from an outside world.

I think this demiurge or creator we are talking about in conspiracy theories is nothing less than OUR minds.

That makes us master of our destiny...

Thinking of an outside demiurge makes us weak and helpless.

Re: The architect and God

Wonderful post, Adama, so simply and succinctly expressing "the issue" mankind faces every day. Thank you so much.

This universe is designed to reflect ourselves back to us, for our edification on our journey of remembering ourselves back home. Unfortunately, in our limited awareness, we came to misunderstand those reflections as "what is, objectively" instead of realizing they are "what is, subjectively". So much has transpired as a result of making this simple error in discernment!

Our hearts are meant to provide the core of truth at an experiential level inside our beingness in every moment, so that when we encounter a reflection of ourselves externally, that does not match what we feel in our hearts, we know to bring it back home to truth.

Instead... again because of our veiled awareness, we chose to believe the reflections we saw around us and external experiences we encountered as the objective truth, and shut down our hearts as a source of anything "real". With survival as an issue, having forgotten our true origins, it seemed the "sensible" choice at the time.

Some still do this vehemently, of course, but on the whole... we're waking back up to what you describe in your post. That knowing borne of love, inside us, that never wavers regardless of what is being perceived outside us. And as we do, we're remembering who we really are, as well.

Many thanks,
Sowelu

The Division of the Gnostics
It was as a result of this great change in human thinking about spiritual matters in the 4th century that the bifurcation in the original Gnostic stream had occurred by the time of the Crusades. The real meaning of the Incarnation and Resurrection of Christ was lost. Many of the Templars, deeply affected by the remains of the old luciferic wisdom that they encountered in the teachings of the Sufis and the Ismailis and other such streams,  fell into a kind of monotheism or pantheism which took little account of the significance of Christ's Incarnation and looked back to a syncretistic neo-Semitic religion more akin to Islam or Judaism. It was this that passed on to the Freemasons and which became the Supreme Being or Grand Architect of the Universe (GAOTU) deity of 18th century Freemasonry.. This was the  being against whom the visionary artist, poet and Christian esotericist William Blake railed so mightily and whom he lambasted as Urizen the cosmic lawgiver, the calculator, the weigher and measurer, for he perceived in this  Deist religion of  Isaac Newton and Francis Bacon (and of George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and  Thomas Jefferson) a turning away from the being of Christ and thus from the very meaning of the Earth and of mankind's existence on the Earth. Blake was one of those Gnostics who, like Jacob Boehme in Germany, struggled through in the spiritual darkness of the age to his own heartfelt conception of the Christ and a truly individual realisation of the cosmic significance of Christ and Christianity.  Many others in the Gnostic, Manichaean, Bogomil and Cathar streams and in the proto-Protestant movements of the Middle Ages managed the same lonely feat. They saw through to the new Christianity in their souls without harking back to pre-Christian religions. The Quakers, for instance, were not interested in disputing the meaning of this or that verse of the Old Testament as so many other Puritans were, nor were they concerned about the arcane geometric symbology of the Temple of Solomon like the Freemasons; rather, they sought direct communion with the divine in the silence of their hearts in this moment; not in lonesome meditation in cell or on mountaintop, but rather together with their fellows.

I believe synchronicity guides our way, if we can allow ourselves the luxury to view the subtlety which brings quality to our lives. This richness is something difficult for others to understand until they discover similar qualities within themselves; otherwise, they search endlessly externally, and with the most refinement of intellect. Intellect is knowing without feeling. How can anyone who knows love, be unwilling to extend compassion to those seeking this treasure? As they quest, aided with volumes of maps, and tales of great enlightenment,  how can they not make the search so complex and grand that they would overlook the source?

I woud have to say that that quest for the Holy Grail fooled me for years; for right in front of my eyes were the greatest clues, and instead of recognizing and enjoying my wealth within, I went in search of a way to explain to others exacly how simple the search could be for them; but they did not want my answers, they wanted, and still seem to want, the quest. I now understand much more clearly the wisdom of their desires.  I suppose a simple life is not grand enough for some, so they fabricate great adventures, and stories to impress themselves. To each their own dream. To each their own virtue.

After I first read your post, I checked my email; synchronistically, here is what showed up: spam advertisement. Maybe it gives us something of a clue to answers within the scope of your question:

Dear Careful,

Virtue = Moral excellence; goodness; righteousness.
The most virtuous are those who content themselves with being virtuous without seeking to appear so. – Plato

Once in a locker room the president of a multi-national corporation was seen picking up used towels from the floor and benches. Observing this his friend posed an interesting question. “Do you pick-up the towels because you are the president or are you president because you pick-up the towels?”

When all the outer accessories of life are stripped away, who we really are is revealed through behavior that reflects what we truly value about ourselves, others and the world.

Note: As an interesting synchronistic addition to this post: I put a few Classical CDs in the player that runs out to my studio earlier today; I haven't heard these for about three years. After posting I went back to work and the song playing was George Friederich Handel's "Hallelujah", from the Messiah. Life sure is interesting! smile

Very interesting text!

I've never thought of Lucifer on one side wanting us to leave materiality and Ahriman on the other side denying it.
I've fallen into that trap of denying material things, especially when I followed theories from A Course in Miracles.

The only book that never disappointed me is "Love without end " from Glenda Green, it's very simple and doesn't deny material life. Spirit is not separated from this world.

I guess a good way to see if something is evil is to look at your heart (in the middle of your chest) and see if you feel good from that point of view.
That is what I call the sacred heart, it can't lie and always guides me to bring spirit into material life, balancing all poles naturally...

Re: The architect and God

Here's an imagination for all of you who think lovingly about the heart and ask temselves about its role in relation to consciousness, higher realms and ascension.

The Heart is where the above and the below meet, like the crux of the cross, where verticality unites with horizontality.  That's where balance needs to be done. Where to start? i think that's by changing our thinking first, then new felings and will shall follow by themselves adn reinvigorate the Heart with enhanced heart-thinking. (when Desire becomes invigorated and enhanced with Knowledge it becomes Love)
