You can now download youtube videos and other videos (I haven't tried other types) with this website: http://vixy.net/flv_converter.

If your youtube video is http://youtube.com/watch?v=EXAMPLE, then just copy it into the site and it will recode it and then you can download it as an .avi or mp3 file for you to store on your computer.

This is very handy smile

Wow- how synchronous!  Just today I was looking on Youtube trying to figure out how to download the videos, and found out I couldn't.  Thanks for that link!
