Re: Chakra Test

That's awesome........according to the test I have an over active throat and third eye chakra!  hehe  I love it.  big_smile    Speech/expression and psychic powers are over apparently a bit...over amped with me.   (luckily the crown chakra seems to have calmed down a tad - back in my 20's it was literally pouring energy off the top of my head; those with the "sixth sense" could see it and commented on it....)   Conversely, I have an underactive heart chakra, due to answering so many questions about keeping people at a distance, not loving everybody and having my emotional walls up so as not to get hurt.   (when people take the test they'll see what questions I'm talking about....)

Basically, this test is pretty accurate.  I already knew going in that my two areas that need a little boost are will, and the heart chakra, and that's what the results show.  smile  However, tests can never be fully accurate though - because the interesting thing to note about me and the heart chakra thing is my heart chakra is wide open....when it comes to animals.  People though?   No, not so much.   We once did a little energy dowsing experiment using metal coat hangers, and in the experiment we would think of various types of thoughts pertaining to maybe say, anger, love, etc. and so on, but without telling the other one what we were thinking.  Then we'd do a body scan with the metal rods/coat hangers and see where they crossed over.  Well......when I thought about my kitty and how much I loved her, sure enough, the coat hangers crossed right over my heart.  smile  So it's not that my heart chakra is sadly undeveloped, but it's that I just don't feel love for humanity in general.  Animals though I can honestly say I have true, unconditional love for.   I'm even getting that way about bugs and "lesser" life forms, it's the craziest thing.   And for the throat chakra....verbally I'm pretty low key.  But I do express myself loud and clear in writing.  So even that's not fully accurate.  But it's a cool test though overall, and synchronistic as this past week I just got back into researching chakras again.

Root: open (19%)
Sacral: open (19%)
Navel: open (38%)
Heart: open (19%)
Throat: open (19%)
Third Eye: over-active (75%)
Crown: open (56%)

Well, I think I'll skip the Third Eye chakra during my next meditation session big_smile

Heart:    under-active    (0%)
Throat:    open    (63%)
Third Eye:    open    (44%)

Wow.   Looks like I have some work to do.  I don't think about my chakras much, except when my heart hurts.  Must be why it's closed.

Neat test, thanks!

That sacral chakra's got me in a lot of trouble over the years - still working on it.  Now I've learned Kinesiology (Motivational Kinesiology) I'm going to be working on balancing the energy there.  Maybe I could shunt some of the crown energy down there!!! lol

Thanks Aya - very useful test.  And one that will be worth checking in on every few months or so.

Re: Chakra Test

I have to admit I'm pretty ignorant of the chakra deal....So I think that will have to be the next thing I get into.

From what I understand though, the trick is to be balanced in all right? My results would therefore confirm what I always suspected, that I'm not balanced.

Root:    under-active    (-25%)
Sacral:    under-active    (0%)
Navel:    open    (25%)
Heart:    under-active    (0%)
Throat:    open    (31%)
Third Eye:    over-active    (88%)
Crown:    over-active    (81%)

Compared to you all it looks like I'm slightly messed up. I'm not THAT bad am I? (I hope) Something to work on anyway - I can see how the past has influenced those results. Thanks Ayahuasca.

Re: Chakra Test

Yeah, its possible that they are just unbalenced.  There are two techniques that I know to open up chakras.  One is to visualize a flower where your chakra is located and visualize it opening up like a flower opens up during spring,  and for me it helps to have the flower the same color as the chakra you are opening.  (i.e. blue flower for throat).  Or, the new technique that I had just read on NR recently is to visualize the energies of the Earth entering into your first three lower chakras (Root, Sacral and Naval) then visualize the energies of the sun entering the top three chakras (Crown, Third Eye and Throat) then simultaneously have both energies meet at you're heart chakra.

I am wondering though, if anyone knows, if I keep doing that latter visualization, would my over active chakras become even more overactive, or would my system become balenced?  I am thinking the latter would be true.  Anyways hope this helps.

Re: Chakra Test

What is even better is to let the energy simply flow through you.  Don't try to hold onto it and keep it, grasping never advances spiritual growth.  Instead, try imagining a stream of energy entering your head, filling your body with light, then continuing out the feet, down down down until it gets to the center of the earth (which is a major "universal chakra").  Visualize a large, powerful energy center there, and when your stream of energy hits it, it starts a sort of explosive chain reaction, which then shoots another stream of energy all the way back up, through your feet, then out the head back up to the sky.  It helps to sychronize it with breath too, by pulling energy down while breathing in, and vice versa.

Re: Chakra Test

When working on the chakras to balance them, it is important to analyze one’s reality to recognize which components of one’s life aren’t in the flow. Usually, if one has a blockage in a certain chakra, the corresponding layers of reality are blocked too. It’s helpful to work on the chakras on the energetic level, like Natural Mystic and Limukala described, and additionally to work on its outer manifestation as well. Spoken in practical terms, that means for instance, if you have a blocked throat-chakra, seek situations that allow you to express yourself in an open manner. The same goes for the other energy-centres.
The main blockage factor is fear. If you analyze which situations cause you fear you can very well observe which chakras have blockages. Overcoming that fear, or better: acting according to ones will, in spite of feeling fearful, is a huge step forward to get rid of inner restrictions.

A man is born gentle and weak. At his death he is hard and stiff.
Green plants are tender and filled with sap. At their death they are withered and dry.
Therefore the stiff and unbending is the disciple of death. The gentle and yielding is the disciple of life.

Girl, you could be writing about me there!  I scored overactive on throat and underactive on heart for the exact same reasons as you.  I don't dominate people through speaking, but I do express myself well, especially through writing.  And I don't have a great love for humanity, either.   But animals.... that's another story.  I give my all to them.  And quite frankly, I don't care to change that.

On  the other hand, my underactive sacral chakra may need a little work. smile

I found this test to be a good reminder to meditate and work on the chakras , I plan to work on my underactive areas and take the test again to see what kind of results I get , should be interesting.

Re: Chakra Test

I know I am unbalanced, I did  not understand some questions that why
took the Portuguese version, but still did not got 100%.
So these results are not much precise.

Re: Chakra Test

Well mine came up....

Sacral - ( - 6%)

Naval -( 56%)

Heart -( 63%)

Throat -( 56%)

Third Eye -( 63%)

Crown - (56%)

I guess I have to work on that Sacral!  But then again, how accurate are these things really?
