I'm not sure where, or to whom, my reply should be sent. . .but whatever. I thought I put up a reply last night. . but strangely, it's no longer here.
So here's the deal.
As I mentioned in my first reply to Eagle Red in this thread, I do sense this shift that is occurring. I also recognize that language is an awful medium for communication of this. In that respect, I do respect Eagle Red or anybody else for willing to make an attempt at describing this thing.
I've spouted off a lot of criticism about "You Create Your Own Reality" because it is clear to me that something is/has been getting in the way of true reality creation. The theory is good, but putting it into practice seems to be more than a bit challenging.
For a long time my frustrations due to the seeming inability to affect reality to the degree I know is possible were explained by the standard new age party lines. My intentions are not "clear" enough. I need to further "purify" my consciousness. Or my body. I need to learn more "lessons". It's for my own "good".
Finally last fall I went through a relationship breakup which stunk so high of manipulation that I could no longer ignore it. My intentions were reasonably clear, I had "learned" my lessons from the past, but somehow that didn't seem to matter.
And when things came crashing down there was no help from my "angels" and "guides". There was barely any help from my friends and family because, though they certainly understood what was happening, they didn't really understand how it was happening. That's precisely when I started posting on NR in hopes that somebody else out there might be able to relate to my experience.
Basically it came down to this. Either something is seriously f***ed up about me, or
something is seriously f***ed up about the world. I know my "guides" might get on my case for being so dualistic about it, but then again they seem to have a vested interest in me "transcending" dualism (with their help of course).
Old World religion would have us believe that there is some fundamental flaw in us that leads us to experience loss and sorrow. We can't fix the problem ourselves; it can only come through the "grace" of God. For millenia this grace is always just around the corner, but never quite seems to arrive. Level one control.
New Age religion would have us believe that everything is just perfect. All we need to do is unconditionally accept ourselves and the world. Change your perception and change the world. Well this is closer to the truth, but notice how the flaw is still there. It's just more subtle. No matter how accepting one becomes, more and more crap just keeps getting piled up to accept. Of course now, rather than the Church, I am offered endless books, seminars, angels, and guides that are supposed to help me on the "Path". I forge ahead like a good little lightworker, fearlessly accepting increasingly disheartening experiences cleverly disguised as "lessons". Level two control.
"Next Age" religion finally admits that the real problem is in the external world. Agents, attachments, TPTBs, reptoids, whatever you want to call them are bringing massive amounts of leverage to bear against us, causing us to slip up and make mistakes. To miscreate reality. Loss and sorrow are being engineered through us in order to provide "food for the moon".
Level three control comes in when we come across the "secret code". The hidden solution to the problem that only we (or perhaps a small group of individuals ala "99th Generation Descendents of Jesus and Mary Magdalene") can see. We are The One. The first to break through the barrier and find the answer.
It's now our "mission" to get this information out to everybody else. But quick! TPTBs are on to us! There's not much time left! Write a book, put up a website, develop a new healing technique. . . get the word out there!
"The Word" is the problem, not the solution. "The Word" is what keeps us looking outside for the answers, when they are not there.
While we are so busy running around trying to develop a new specialized language we fail to notice that other people are experiencing the SAME thing we are. . . and they are so busy scrambling to find the words to describe their experience that they fail to notice it as well. Welcome to New Babylon.
So here's the point, Eagle Red (or whomever you are).
By all means, share your experiences. But if you think that you are the only one who is having these experiences you are seriously deluded, and perhaps even dangerous. Certainly to yourself if not to others.
You are not here to save humanity, you are here to join humanity. Thinking that you are so special leads you down a path of increasing isolation until you are among TPTBs yourself, convinced that you must take action on behalf of others for their own benefit.
I think you know where that path leads, and I think that's not where you want to be.
It is not for us to understand love, but simply to make space for it.
