Re: Free Will Does Not Exist
From your line of thinking lyra, I'd like to add: Free will is acting in favour to ones destiny.
As opposed to 'just' acting.
A man is walking towards his destination. In this instance he can use his eyes and step-by-step reach his destination. There are many obstacles and events standing inbetwixt him and his destination. There is an eagle gliding in circular formation around the man, viewing his parameter, his destination, and his movements all at once. If the man establishes a connection between himself and the eagle, he judges not only by his sight but also from the sight of the eagle. That to me is what free-will represents for the human-condition.
The utilization of the higher-faculties to shift gears from automatic to manual.
(just some playful thoughts)
