Topic: troubles
Hey there fellow NR members,
I used to post under 'indigo'.
I am back after leaving in September 05.
I was only briefly on in Jan-Feb 05 and then one post in Sept.
I have been having troubles recently in my search for freedom and meaning.
I will start by saying that I lived briefly in Seattle and found it depressing there and mostly dark oriented (more so than in other places). I moved back in with my mother in order to pay off some of my credit card debt (I am in the hole by thousands). I wanted to help my mother by being there for her and taking her to medical appointments. She is thrice divorced and getting frail in her old age. I decided to make a sacrifice in leaving Seattle to come back and live with her (I lived with her from 2002-2005 continuously). I had a pretty good setup in Seattle and thought I could make it there on my own. I lived in Seattle near the space needle with a harbor view from my studio apt. Nonetheless, I felt alone and purposeless there (and it does rain quite a bit there, as you may have heard).
I am currently contemplating where to settle permanently. I am a disabled veteran and I have been looking at settling near a VA hospital. I have had my eye on Maine or California. I have been to each (Cali seemed high energy and uplifting yet dangerous and beset with problems). Maine felt a bit slow and a bit depressing yet safe.
I have been attempting to stay in Missouri with my mother but it is not working, I feel terribly outcast here in the bible belt (and disliked, though I may be disliked everwhere since those breaking out of the matrix control system tend to irritate those still enslaved).
I had formerly started converting to Christianity and gave away (and threw some away) many of my paranormal and conspiracy books (to libraries). I feel like the Christians feel antagonistic towards me here (I drive a dark grey Ford Taurus 2004- a mistake I made when purchasing it a couple of years ago while less aware, and i realize that many govt. agents drive this make and model, I am stuck with it becuase i am in debt for three more years with it and it has high mileage (after long road trips searching to find a place to settle in 2005 with no luck)).
The troubles assailing me come from a paranormal origin.
I have a diagnosis of schizophrenia/manic depression which makes it even harder to live life successfully.
I hear voices (more intensely after becoming more aware in 2001) which taunt me constantly. The medicines I take only keep me from going totally overboard and they keep me relatively stable and functioning on a day to day basis. I may be partly psychic, but I currently believe that these voices (which seem to be outside my head and emanating from outside the house like they are stationed there monitoring me in an adjacent dimension in their vans on the street. I am aware that other schizophrenics report this same phenomenon/problem. I do believe that I may have been abducted and implanted with a microchip to transmit/receive thoughts from the dark forces/denizens). I read that the Scientologists claim that psychotics are their enemies and that psychiatry is evil and that many mentally ill people are implanted with devices which trouble them to no end. I do think that psychiatry has helped me somewhat by prescribing drugs which stabilize my moods and prevent me from flipping out totally. So I do think that medicines do help some and that Scientology is wrong about the avoidance of needed medicines.
I recently started thinking of myself as a Universal Good Spirit and I believe there are good people a various faiths (Moslem, Judaic, Christian, Pagan, Hindu, Buddhist, Heathen, Agnostic, Atheist, Native American, and others). The problem is not becoming a target for lynching and attack by witchhunters of the variously mentioned faiths. Being demonized is really un-nerving. There is a song which I really like off the Fifth Element movie soundtrack called 'Little Light of Love' which sums up part of my belief rather nicely. Hold onto your Light and Love and all will be fine.
So, I am no longer really any one particular faith, but tolerant of them all, and part of them all. A universal faith (which the Christians term New Age evil, and think that Christ is the only path and preach hell fire and brimstone to those who seek other answers to life's mysteries).
Well, that's enough for now.
I hope to discuss some of my findings in my journey and learn and interact with the others here at NR forum.
Cheers,
