Topic: Lost Time Phenomenon

I wonder if anyone has experienced any lost time scenarios. I had one that was very unique in that there were people around when it occurred.

I was still living with my mom and sister back in highschool. One evening, right before primetime TV, I decided to close my eyes for five minutes while lying on the loveseat. I was a little tired, but not much. I was looking forward to some programs that were coming on that night.

When I opened my eyes back up, as far as I was concered it had only been five minutes. I didn't even feel all that rested. When I looked around the room I noticed the program wasn't on that I wanted to watch. When I asked my mom and sister what happened to it, they had nasty looks on their faces, and explained that I had been asleep for almost two hours, and had missed it! They explained the disgruntled looks on their faces by complaining about my heavy snoring, for almost two hours!

This whole episode wouldn't have been so bad if I had actually felt rested. But, seriously, I'm a pretty good judge as to how long I've been asleep, and I swear it hadn't been more than five minutes!

I've heard of lost time experiences, but never when other people are around, and don't experience the same thing.

Just my personal opinion, so take it with a grain of salt, but, it sounds to me like you had just been napping and were a little more tired than you realized.  Although who knows.....do your mom and sister normally get so nasty looking just because somebody is sleeping/snoring next to them??   If so, and that's their normal personality, then again, you were probably just napping.  If not, and nastiness is an unusual reaction for them, then maybe you really were abducted and they too were programmed to believe that all of you had just been sitting in front of the TV for 2 hours.  In that case, their nastiness could be a reaction of whatever had gone on during the abduction...and had nothing to do with you.

It all comes down to their behavior/reaction, and analyzing whether that was normal for them, or abnormal.

Re: Lost Time Phenomenon

Your post made me think of Robert Bruce (author of Astral Dynamics) and his claim that during sleep we astral travel but our nonphysical bodies carry their own memories of their experiences, and unless those memories get imprinted upon our physical self upon return, we have no memory of it. So maybe if you could remember what happened during those two hours, it wouldn't have seemed like five minutes. Obviously.

Also, I thought about people's anecdotes of undergoing general anesthesia, one moment they are counting backwards and the next moment they remember waking up groggy in the recovery room.

Hmmm, and another thing that comes to mind is what Preston Nichols (Montauk Project) and Michael Relfe (The Mars Records) said about leading alternate lives serving in secret government projects, but then being "put back" with memories erased and it's as though none of it happened.

Similar stuff happens with abductions, as Lyra mentioned. When I was a kid and had some alien encounters, I would "switch" to an alternate set of memories where I remembered all the previous abductions, but a moment before the "switch" I had no clue what was going on. It's like a folder of files being stored on a different hard drive. According to the Castaneda material, this is essentially a shift in the assemblage point.

Goes to show, we depend heavily on our memories for a sense of reality, and if our memories can be controlled then so can our assumptions about reality. Something about linear time being an illusory product of an illusory past...

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

Re: Lost Time Phenomenon

Regarding your alien encounters, I was talking to one of the guys at work one day last week. He's a few years older than I. We were discussing our dads (age related subjects), and there were a lot of similarities that came up. I recalled that he had mentioned that his dad had seen a UFO which had been corroborated by his brother who was with him at the time, and quite a few of the locals, back in '66 or '67. He was within 40 feet of it. This was even included in a book that came out shortly thereafter.

My dad had seen one back in '55 with his brother. He actually approached the craft as well, and came within 100 feet of it before it took off. He states that there was a lost time scenario that occurred with this incident.

I had a theory. I was born 8 years after my dad's experience. I have exceptional "paranormal" gifts. I asked this guy at work if he had any younger siblings. He never talked about anybody else but his brother. I was thinking he had a sister, and was right (my psychic abilities are improving to a staggering degree). She was 8 years younger than him. A lot of these "modifications" occur to the parent prior to conception.

I believe that anyone who has seen a UFO has so purposefully. I believe that there is some remote DNA modifications occurring. Radiation modifies DNA (not to a desirable degree, though), and I believe these "beings" are able to control this DNA modification to a degree. These modifications are manifested through the offspring.

I also believe that ultraviolet light frequencies affect these "beings".

An addendum to my previous post:

As I was driving home from work, I thought of something. When I was talking to my coworker about his younger sister, he mentioned that she was an "oops!" baby, meaning that his parents didn't plan her conception, she "just happened" (his own words). While musing about how he phrased this, I remembered my parents saying the same thing about me (I must have subconsciously suppressed that information temporarily for obvious reasons). My mom reassured me that they didn't love me any less, in fact I received even more attention because of my health problems (I almost died for the first time when I was about six months old).

One of my gifts is seeing patterns . . . I don't think you have to be really gifted to see this one . . .
