Topic: Lost Time Phenomenon
I wonder if anyone has experienced any lost time scenarios. I had one that was very unique in that there were people around when it occurred.
I was still living with my mom and sister back in highschool. One evening, right before primetime TV, I decided to close my eyes for five minutes while lying on the loveseat. I was a little tired, but not much. I was looking forward to some programs that were coming on that night.
When I opened my eyes back up, as far as I was concered it had only been five minutes. I didn't even feel all that rested. When I looked around the room I noticed the program wasn't on that I wanted to watch. When I asked my mom and sister what happened to it, they had nasty looks on their faces, and explained that I had been asleep for almost two hours, and had missed it! They explained the disgruntled looks on their faces by complaining about my heavy snoring, for almost two hours!
This whole episode wouldn't have been so bad if I had actually felt rested. But, seriously, I'm a pretty good judge as to how long I've been asleep, and I swear it hadn't been more than five minutes!
I've heard of lost time experiences, but never when other people are around, and don't experience the same thing.
