Holographic AI: Extremely Powerful but Still NOT Consciousness

That is very interesting - I didn't realise that constructed intelligence had come so far already.  However as that short piece says - consciousness isn't intelligence.

I regularly have a conversation with my dad - whereby he insists that AI will be the saviour of our planet, because it will be "better" than us.  The thing that he cannot understand - no matter how I put it to him - is that intelligence is not consciousness.  And that without consciousness, any intelligence would wreck havoc if it was in such a position to be allowed to exist as a "saviour" to the human race.

Even when we look at the world today, most of the problems created by mankind have been problems created from the mind - the ego.  Such consciousness has no clarity or awareness of true reality.  Rudolf Steiner talked about this when he discusses Aharimanic consciousness, and that is very much where the human race is at right now.  So in many ways the HNET system is amost Aharimanic "Consciousness" in its most pure form.

Very far removed from human consciousness indeed...
