Topic: Who Built the Moon?!
I just finished reading an interesting book called “Who Built the Moon? by Christopher Knight and Alan Butler. In it, the authors propose that the moon was deliberately manufactured by some unknown force, and then they set about to prove their case. The reason I enjoy this book and want to pass along the recommendation and head’s up is because the authors have the math to back up their claim. It’s one thing to have a subjective opinion and belief that something is a certain way……but it’s another thing entirely to back your opinion up with the math. People can’t argue with you then, because the math speaks for itself!
Another reason it’s worth mentioning is that I believe this information is useful. You will now have your own personal proof about things, and can take that information and extrapolate from there. So for anybody who's been going in circles lacking the concrete proof (other than personal experiences) that this reality is not how TPTB would have us believe, then this is the book for you.
I put it in the same category as Goro Adachi’s book, “The Time Rivers", where he proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, (imo!) that the Nile River was intelligently designed and not a naturally occurring land form. (On a side note, I’d be very surprised to hear that the authors were not familiar with Goro’s work; from their mentions of “lateral thinking" and their belief in "messages that need to be decoded" acting as some sort of "test for humanity" in order to prove that we’re ready to "move on to the next level", it all sounds very Goro-inspired.
)
The authors' theory extends beyond the moon though, to include the Earth-Moon-Sun system trio as a whole. They prove that the Earth and Moon were both designed to mathematically fit into the Sun. Highlighting some of the authors' more astounding discoveries, I'll explain what I mean by that:
The authors discovered that when you look at the measurements of the Earth-Moon-Sun system, certain numbers kept repeating themselves, (100, 1,000, 10,000, 400, 366) and things consistently added up to nice, neat, rounded integers, as well as corresponding perfectly to the metric system, measurements neatly divided into other, and overall, things were just mathematically perfect in such a way that it was statistically impossible. Over and over again things matched up, lined up, and divided up with the Earth-Moon-Sun trio…but these statistically impossible, neat and perfect measurements can’t be found to exist with any of the other planets in our solar system.
Most important of all, the authors realized that: Things were designed in such a way so that everything would line up and fit neatly together during this time period, designating a message of sorts that would be discovered and decoded.
By "this time period", they mean one million years in each direction, since it is during this one million year period that the ever-recessing moon is at its current position. So I found that to be particular interesting in its implications. Things were designed to all come together during a pointed time period in Earth’s history.
"The Mathematical Message"
There are 366 days in an Earth year
Earth is 366 times bigger than the moon
The moon is 27.31% of Earth’s size.
The moon orbits the Earth once every 27.322 days
The Earth’s speed used to be slowing down, but in 1999 scientists discovered that it had finally stopped and settled in 27,780 meters per second...
...which just so happens to be 1/10,000th of the speed of light in a vacuum.
For every 10,000 Earth days, the moon completes 366 orbits around the Earth.
100 / 366 = 0.27322
There are 109.245 Earth diameters across the face of the Sun at Earth’s aphelion;
There are 109.267 Sun diameters between the Sun and the Earth.
The Moon’s equatorial circumference is 10,920.8 kilometers
The moon spins at a rate of exactly 1 kilometer per second at its equator. Very perfect. Not some random speed.
The Earth rotates 400 times faster than the moon.
The Moon is 400 times smaller than the sun.
The Moon is 400 times closer to the Earth than the sun...
...and this allows for total solar eclipses, which do not occur on any other planet in our solar system.
There's also a nifty little chart that shows this:
Earth turns per orbit % size of polar circumference
Earth 366.259 27.31
Moon 27.396 366.175
The authors talk about a number things in the book, not just the mathematical message in the Earth-Moon-Sun trio, but one of the major points they hammer home is that life on Earth as we know it would not exist were it not for the moon. The moon is what regulates our 23.5 degree tilt, which allows for our 4 seasons, our climate that is hospitable to life - and us -, and allows water in liquid form.
So after one peruses through all the math and sees that Wow, things line up, in an uncanny way, the question of course becomes "Who did this?!!?" and "NOW WHAT?!"
The authors don't have a definitive answer. Who would, after all. They muse about everything from Extraterrestrials, God, to time travel. Because who the frick knows who did this.
But it does prove...........none of this was an accident, that's for sure. The rest of the solar system doesn't seem to have mathematical configurations like this. It really shows that Earth, being the only blue and white marble among 8 other lifeless planets, was deliberately created to be the paradise that we see around us. This book will make you appreciate Earth, if nothing else!
There's a lot more to be found in the book, not just this, so I think it's worth picking up if this is the sort of thing you're interested in. The book has its flaws and seems to have been generated in a huge hurry, as if the authors didn't want to wait to get this material out there at the expense of editing errors, but it's still worth it. (For instance, in the photos section, there's a picture of Mars, credited as being the Moon! Hello! I made a joke at the bookstore, "If they got that wrong, then what else did they get wrong?!?!" But I realized, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater, and could tell there was still some useful information to be gleaned in the book so I got it anyway.)
