Do you understand the reasons why some are irritated by some of your posts? For instance, I did not like how your lengthy critique of my article focused solely on the superficial elements instead of the content and meaning. It was like flippantly dissing the packaging without evaluating what's inside.
Others may have been annoyed at your arguments delving onto convoluted tangents that did more to confuse than make the point you set out to respond to. It's how you win your debates, not always through reason but through whatever overwhelms the opponent. Your posts are long enough that giving a rebuttal to every single irrelevent or fallacious argument of yours takes ten times more energy than you yourself put into them. That's what has bothered people the most, the profuse use of illogic. But that's the skill you need to be a champ at debate and poker, and yeah you've got talent in that area. Just don't throw a fit when others occasionally get motivated enough speak their minds with a critique of their own.
