Topic: What wild and crazy stunts have you done as a kid or adult?

Thought it would be kinda nice to get the "FRV" bumped up a notch with the new moon and all  wink

What sort of stunts can you remember offhand you did as a kid (or your siblings) to say:  Get back at your parents, siblings, or other's?  Or maybe something you have done as an an adult-just for the fun of it  wink   I'm not promoting passive agressive behavior or anything-but in the case of young'uns, there's no other reprieve many a times  big_smile

During one of the MANY lectures after dinner, my dad -AKA "furor" got on a roll.  Younger sis gets pretty bored and commences with "nose harvesting"-anyways, she proeceeds to "flick" it all off - lo and behold "it" lands on his forehead-  Hot damn!!! It was about the size of a raisin and smack damn right where his third eye is !!!   Even my mom cracked up!!!!  big_smile  big_smile  big_smile  Lecture ended kinda fast.

I used to iron his "work" shirts (for mowing the lawn, ect.) with extra starch under the arms, MAN the sleeves would stick out like twigs and all!!!  smile  I WAS PROUD   big_smile  big_smile  big_smile  He never figured out why we always needed starch on the grocery list...  wink

Sister's and myself always had "clever time" to "get back" cause of all the restriction...  Don't wanna get your kids too much down time...Might not be in one's favor  wink

All of us would shake the beers in the refrigator till it was pretty obvious that they'd spew forth LOTSA faom and all.  To top it off we had the"family dog" do the "nasty" on his favorite pair of slippers- He never did catch on to that one   lol  lol  lol

Guess the name of the game was being a team -as far as siblings go -and  of course outsmarting  dad  "THE prime directive."  It was a lot of laughs for us sisters,  but in retrospect it was the most we could do to manage damage control with all the crappola that went on.

ohhh gosh that raisin boogey story was friggin hilarious! it reminded me of this one time me and my lil sis were having Nerf Wars in the house (the Nerf guns, that shoot foam bullets with suction cups) and my mother had a visitor over, and as they were walking in, i accidentally told me sister to aim at my mother, and she let one go and it flew straight at my mom, and landed perfectly on her forehead, sticking perfectly in place there!!!

OMG it was one of the most hilarious times of my childhood.

(sidenote, it wasnt like we despised my mother or anything, not at all, i love her endlessly, it was just a silly little 'dare' i guess ...)

hahahhaha

Re: What wild and crazy stunts have you done as a kid or adult?

Okay! I got one! LOL!!!!

One time we were out front and my stepdad was sitting in a chair by the mailbox at the curb and one of my friends was inside the garage holding something - I forgot what it was - some kind of plastic toy knife or something you can throw and make it spin a long ways . . . or something like that. I was standing in the street. He throws the thing to me out in the street and it spins all the way out down the driveway and takes a sharp left, spins back down and around and lands right inbetween my step dad and the chair he was sitting on - right under his butt.

We both just looked at each other and I was all like, "Wasn't me!"

I am as is Void.

Re: What wild and crazy stunts have you done as a kid or adult?

I have two good stories, although for sure they were no doubt more hilarious in the moment--

The first is a Monster-kitty story. As I've said before, Monster has the name Monster for good reason. She's hard to get to know, she's extremely territorial, and acts horribly jealous when someone else has my attention or affection... like my son! She had to be put outside the other night because she was just growling and spitting at him, and wouldn't behave. She's such a little bruiser, and she's not beyond jumping someone... I know this from personal experience hmm , so out she went before the blood letting began smile . While she and I are now best buddies, she used to despise me. The turn around in our relationship came with a funny story--

She used to hate it, get jealous, when my man-critter and I would lay close together, she would shove her way in between us and get nasty with me. One time she walked up onto my chest and stuck her little kitty mouth up to my nose and proceeded to start sucking the air out of me!!! The little stinker! Well, for me, after having been viciously attacked by this cat a number of times, this was the straw that broke the camel's back.

big_smile I grabbed her, pinned her down, stuck my mouth to her nose, and started sucking HER air! HA!!! Do unto others... eh? wink

She finally got away from me, bouncing on her paws to the end of the bed, and landed spread eagle down on all fours, lol looking a me like I was some psycho-bitch from hell... lol lol lol, and she wasn't the only one shocked by what I did, my man-critter's eyes were huge. But you know what? She's not attacked me since... well, she has, but these days she's just of playing. If only she'd learn to play with her claws retracted... the little stinker.

The second story has to do with my man-critter. One night we were BBQing, drinking brewskis, and that was all good and fine, for awhile. Apparently he had had a rough week at work and started to get bitchey... and, oh-man, I hate that kwap. He was like following me around, on my freaking heels, "wah, wah, wah.... blah, blah, blah", complaining about his boss and job. Now, when I have a few beers I like to have fun, to listen to music, maybe dance a little, maybe do some art or write some "spirited" poetry (which usually ends up being plain ole "huh?" poetry roll )... just basically let my hair down and relax. Well, "wah, wah" and "blah, blah" are NOT conducive to fun I'll have you know.

I managed to get myself in the kitchen, alone, and had picked up a water cracker to have a smoked oyster, and in he came to the kitchen, complaining--and what I'm going to tell you happened swiftly and without ANY planning or forethought on my part, this making it very strange--as he was walking towards me I palmed the water cracker, lifted my arm up to the level of his head, and he walked right into the palmed cracker... right onto his third eye (which I wasn't necessarily aiming for), right as I quite spontaneously announced "Body of Christ!" I said this right as he walked into the cracker! OMG!!! Still to this day I wonder where that came from.

Well, big_smile , this stopped him dead in his tracks, his mouth dropped wide open... though now blissfully silenced wink , and the cracker fell to pieces down the front of his face, got snagged in his eyelashes, and lol there was one piece hanging on the end of his nose. We were both jaw dropped for a few moments, you could've heard a pin drop, and then we began laughing so hard for so long our faces were literally soaked with tears of the happy kind. We couldn't stop laughing about it for near a whole half hour. The rest of the evening went rather well I might add.

Heehehe... <sniff> one way or the other, I will have my way, and fun. big_smile

.... and pretty amazing is that power of Christ, hmmmmmm? Little did I know "he" has a sense of humor! cool

Re: What wild and crazy stunts have you done as a kid or adult?

Did something REALLY dumb last night.....

My boyfriends hair was getting kinda wooly and uneven in the back, kinda lumpy and all.  I suggested trimming it up a bit to even things out cause it was looking a little funky and all.  He agreed, many a time I help trim up the neck area-usually comes out looking pretty good.

WELLLL, this time I used a different type of buzz razor-bigger and with new batteries.  Worked REAL good....TOO good  sad  I remember being facinated with all the fluffy, soft, perfect hair being trimmed off.  There was WADS of it, guess I got carried away, distracted, or just not used to this razor.  It was about this point I realized that I went WAY too far up the back of the neck; I got kinda quiet and he sensed that something wasn't quite right.  He grabbed the mirror and a look of absolute horror crossed his face.  By this time it was all I could do NOT to laugh, you would have to be there to really appreciate it.  Didn't intend to mess things up on purpose or be mean, just botched things up pretty bad-he looked like a black man with a nazi cut....Oh Lord  yikes  yikes  yikes     I just said "honey, maybe Nappy Roots is still open and they can fix it up, you'll look fine."

Turns out (thank God!) they were still open and did a pretty good job of undoing all the damage  big_smile  (kinda looks like a P-Nut head though)  wink

I'm in the process of figuring out how to make up for this, I've been out of town for the past 4 days, so I know he will have a few good suggestions  wink  big_smile

Gonna be a REAL good dinner tonight, blini and caviar for starters, maybe watercress salad, creme brule or beignets. Just glad he's not mad at me-besides  it'll grow out...
