If anyone likes this book, I highly recommend Cosmic Trigger I.  It's worth the price to buy a hard copy.

How about a synopsis of what this e-book is about?

I really enjoyed illuminati when I read it in ~93/4 - and still often think of things from that book, specifically the business cards that Hagbard Celine (spelling from memories 10+ years old) gave out with RED GREEN in inverse colors.

RAW is probably the author most responsible for getting me interested in all these "woo-woo" topics.  I think I've read over half the books he's published, starting with the Illuminatus! and Schr ¶dinger's Cat trilogies.  Discernment is key, but it's more or less built into his work.  He's pretty clear in his non-fiction that he is mish-mashing a bunch of ideas from Leary, Gurdjieff, Crowley, Korzybski, etc. and trying to get you to put them together in your own way and form your own theory of what the hell is going on.  Then throw it out and form another one.  If you eventually settle on one "reality tunnel" it's your responsibility to see that it's coherent, not anyone else's.

I often wonder what he really thinks of everything that is going on now.  His website is http://www.rawilson.com and he still updates it with a thought/rant or two from time to time, but he has been in poor health for several years now.

I read a couple of his books and watched the "Maybe Logic" documentary which really gave a true impression of who he was in his declining years.   He was a really warm-hearted and good spirit.    It is a great shame that he is gone, but I'm glad he's not suffering anymore.

For this cosmic cub scout, Bob Wilson was the motherload. Books like The Illuminatus! Trilogy, Cosmic Trigger, and Coincidance killed most of what little dogmatism I had left in me, and opened me up to a world of possibilities as large as space travel and as small as quantum physics. He also had a razor sharp wit that he skillfully aimed at those who abuse power and wealth. And he was a delightful story teller, whose love of language was evidenced not only by his own novels, but by his ability to quote virtually everything James Joyce and Ezra Pound ever wrote… backwards, while explaining what evolutionary level of primate behavior the author was elucidating.

Robert Anton Wilson taught us all that ‘the universe contains a maybe.’ So maybe there is an afterlife, and maybe Bob’s consciousness is hovering around all of us who were touched by his words and his presence all these years. And if that’s the case, I’m sure he’d like to see you do something strange and irreverent – and yet beautiful –- in his honor.

Incidentally, the "maybe" in RAW's "Maybe Logic" paradigm is the same thing Lyra has often written about and terms "the third option."   Whenever you're confronted with two black-or-white options, always consider that there might be another possibility.

thanks an awful lot for that entry/ post above Xzen.  that quote from him was great.  i decided to say that when i pass over--  THIS IS ABSURD.  it really helped me and i quoted it today.  i FILED IT, for use later.  gotta love it man.
