Topic: NASA and the Shuttle program are a ruse

In light of the latest "Discovery" shuttle mission, I know I can't be the only one out there noticing that um, it's 2005, and we're still hauling ourselves around up in space in a vehicle that was designed and built in the late 1970's.   Hello, whatever happened to technological progress?

My bro was the first person that I encountered to bitch about this, and that was back in 2000.   Before him, I'd never even thought about it.  But after he pointed it out, I was like, "heeeeeyyyy...wait a minute..."   ding ding ding.

We've all grown up on sci-fi..............remember where they predicted we'd be by this time?  This is 2005......this was supposed to be *the* time of technological advancement according to all those movies we were raised on.   Instead we're still floating around up in space in delapodated old shuttles that explode, or threaten to explode, because of foam pieces falling off??   Two shuttle explosion catastrophes to date, and a third rescue mission currently in progress with even the Russians getting in on the deal, offering their assistance to rescue the U.S. crew should it get to that point.   (I don't love the Shuttle;  do love the post-cold war comraderie though!  very cool....)

And speaking of technology, we're still getting from Point A to Point B on the ground using 2,000 pound metal boxes on rubber wheels that guzzle gasoline and oil???

Hello............it's 2005.   Where's the technology!   The Jetsons, anybody??   tongue

Another thing - and I've mentioned this part before, but in California, my brother was a techno wizard and had half of his bedroom filled with radio scanning equipment, much of it self rigged using aluminum tubes and wires, whatever he could find, mixed in amongst the row of radios and word processors that were connected to the radios and reprogrammed to process the info.    Because of that, I was able to listen in on a MIR mission, (in Russian and all!) back when it was still in orbit, and also NASA happenings as well.   We were able to pick up Cape Canaveral Florida all the way from Rancho Santa Margarita, California.  Pretty neat.  But my point being, my brother said that what NASA is really working on versus what they show the public are two totally different things.  He listened to test runs of anti-gravity devises that crashed and burned, followed by a lot of cussing and people bitching about how much money that cost, etc. and so on.  And that's just NASA.   That's not even the shadow factions.

So, a little something to think about.   One more reason to roll your eyes at the mainstream news.  Stagnation would be the word for things I think.  Everything is stagnating.  The best technological advancement they could come up with for transportation is the hybrid car??   Computers are smaller and faster and now have flat screens...........................but we're supposed to believe that they didn't already have this capability 30 years ago?  Come on.   Anybody who studies up on this stuff knows that whatever technology we're being shown is 30+ years behind what the secret factions have.  In reading MILABS / alien abduction accounts which took place in the 50's, 60's and 70's, I'm struck by the descriptions of the technology that was witnessed by the abductees.........technology that did not exist in the mainstream at that point in time.   One such account from the 60's involved military personnel swiping cards through scanner to open doors.  We have that now.  Go to any hotel in America, that's pretty much the door key system everybody now uses.   I worked in the hotel industry in SoCal the 90's though, and I know that key cards didn't start coming about until the mid 90's.  I still remember the old fashioned metal key system.    That's how late to the game electronic key cards were to the mainstream public.

They drip feed us little technological "advancements" here, a little bit there, but don't be fooled.......they have much, much more going on behind closed doors.   And the shuttle program would be a totally funny joke if they weren't actually endangering the lives of every astronaut who steps foot in one of those antiquated, technologically backwards beasts.    When I heard about the Discovery's latest technological mishap, causing two emergency space walks to repair it just so the thing can land in one piece, I broke my rule of detached news observation and became very frustrated and upset.  Totallly admire any astronaut who's capable of donning all that clunky space gear and performing mechanical repairs on a shuttle in zero gravity 300 miles above Earth.   But I'm very annoyed at NASA for continuing this ruse, jeopardizing people's lives.

Okay, rant over.  wink  But hope that was some food for thought.   Anybody feel free to comment......

They've been having that 'Aurora next generation' craft on cable television for about a decade now! LOL!!! Sounds like someone's betting the farm on all of us sleeping very soundly . . .

And, yea, NASA being the 'public' space program. The 'REAL' one being the precursor to NASA which is and always has been kept secret . . .

Not much to add here, other than to say this exact specific issue has been one that's been on my mind lately as well, for some reason,  with NASA as the primary example as well.

The technology they do give us is being rolled out, ever so slowly, at a rate calculated to maximize profits to TPTB.   It's basically like in "The Matrix" ... it's actually generations farther into the future than they say it is, and we live in a completely artificial world designed to appear to be something other than it is.

It all makes sense though, doesn't it?  Put it in the context of The Allies of Humanity material and that article on Eve Lorgen's site mentioning how strictly the ET's practice military "operational security" and it really becomes quite clear what is probably going on here.

It's all pretty scary, isn't it?   Such a ruse we live in, truly.   Anybody who reads abduction literature has to be struck by the technology that these government groups have access to.  Something that's not talked about, but which I'll go ahead and toss out here cause you know, why not, is the fact that they have "beam my up Scotty" technology.  This is how many alien-government abductions are taking place.    MILABS literature puts the emphasis on military dudes bursting into your home and snagging you manually.  But they're leaving out the fact that these groups are working with non-human entities, and therefore, have access to all the non-human toys.   So driving a van to your home to physically haul you off isn't going to happen.   They snag you in your bed while you sleep if at all possible.   I emailed a female MILAB author who wrote a book on the subject and tentatively asked her about a couple of her abductions that she mentioned in her book, where she suddenly found herself in some government installation in her pj's.   I mentioned my theory, then asked her how she thought she got from Point A, her bed, to Point B, the government facility.   She agreed with me.  It's beam me up stuff.  So, she's smart, she knows.

So, we can beam people around from point A to point B, but yet, we're still using the space shuttle.    yeah.

I know it probably seems like I'm jumping around - Space shuttle......... abductions........huh???..... big_smile ...... but when you know about this stuff, suddenly the mainstream world and what's paraded on the news just seems so incredibly SILLY.   Totally ludicrous, like a surreal dream.

Re: NASA and the Shuttle program are a ruse

Anybody ever seen this funny vid of a mars landing in '62? I'd looked for a downloadable and/or higher quality one before but never found any. You won't be able to save it. Only plays it in RealPlayer - it's a .rm (non-savable). This one I found today is two Mb., but the quality is not much better . . . Anyway, pretty funny . . . if it's not real, then SOMEBODY wants people to believe in the secret space program . . .

Yeah, I've seen this, back in 2002.  It's not real, from what I understand.  I think Laura asked the C's about it and they said no, it's not real.

Re: NASA and the Shuttle program are a ruse

I remember watching the History Channel and they had a show about Area 51 on. One of the guys that was being interviewed on there mentioned about how he had talked to one of the top dogs or 'in the know' guys at Area 51 back in the 90's. The guy said "the stuff you've seen on star trek, star wars anything you can imagine, we've been there done that". And thats basically all that was got out of him.

So yes, I actually did ask myself that question when they launched the shuttle recently. "Why are we still using shuttles?" Then again I think that what should be considered is that are these groups that are experimenting with technologies beyond somes imagination really have the responsiblity to release "their" discoveries? 'They' obviously don't feel inclinded enough to share what they know or can do until people start saying WTF, "Why are we still using space shuttles?"

Re: NASA and the Shuttle program are a ruse

Spot on Lyra...I was just talking about this on another board....What they are telling us vs What they have done...and will do is so completely different...it will make you kick yourself for not realizing it sooner...Wouldn't suprise me at all if Stargate technology is in use....in fact i heard something about Discovery's mission being related to that....

I think it really all ties back to the fact that "They", the people with knowledge about the true nature of things and the ones with the real power running the show, sincerely look down on the general population.  We are dumb animals to them.   They see us the way most people view insects.   (looking for an example of something that most people have disdain for and no regard for - most people dislike bugs and squash them like they're nothing, without giving it a second thought.  That's how they see us.)  Understanding that mindset makes it clear why they don't share what they know.  Some people mistakenly believe that they withold information from us because they feel the need to "protect us", or prevent mass hysteria and loss of control.   I say it's because they feel we're not on their level, so therefore we don't deserve to know what they're up to.  They're the ones in charge, not us.  They run the show, not us.  We're like insects to them.  So they don't HAVE to answer to us.   It's none of our business in their minds.  Go back to pen, with our movies and entertainment and media, with our celebrity worship, fashion magazines and slave jobs.  Go back to chasing our tails in the wheel, serving them, until we die, the end.  It's like a parent contemptuously brushing aside a pesky kid.  Stop asking questions, you're too silly to "get it" anyway.  Go back to your media and distraction, silly child.

Yeah, "kicking myself" is kind of how I felt once I started waking up, to put it midly. smile  I just couldn't BELIEVE that I hadn't noticed so much of this stuff before.   I always knew something was "off" about life, just like that speech Morpheus gives Neo in The Matrix, enough so that I persued alternative interests and shied away from a mainstream existance;  but there was SO MUCH that still escaped me, until my awakening process.  And when the awakening happened, it happened so FAST....within a matter of MONTHS.  Things were coming together;  books, websites and magazines were coming my way, situations and people were being arranged to help me along and provide another piece of the puzzle.  So much, SO fast.   And I remember being shocked when reading David Icke's "The Biggest Secret" for the first time during this period, because I had never noticed such a simple, obvious thing like the fact that so many corporate logos all use the same repeating symbolisms - pyramids, eyes, stars, torches.   If a little thing like that could escape me, what about everything else that escaped me???  !!!!  It was like "OH MY GOD..........I'VE BEEN ASLEEP FOR 26 YEARS!!!!   WHAT HAPPENED!!!!!!!!"

Kick kick kick!   big_smile

As far as things like Stargate technology is concerned - you better believe they have some mega capabilities to do some incredible things.    Not all factions though - only the ones working in cahoots with the non-human critters.  The other factions have to beg, borrow, steal and finagle their way into the leftovers of the other faction's technology.   Not all factions are created equal, and they're apparantly all at war with each other, from what I understand.

Re: NASA and the Shuttle program are a ruse

In all honesty of this question, what was the reason, well the mainstream media reason, for the Discovery shuttle mission? I could really believe that it probaly was used for some sordof stargate project mission because I honestly cannot think of any GOOD reason why they would spend all that money to build a shuttle and launch it into space. What did they do, site seeing? Pick up a couple moon rocks?

Well, I googled it, and this is one thing I came up with, (bolded words my own emphasis):

article blurb thingy wrote:

"Discovery returned to earth on a wing and a prayer, rolling to a stop at Edwards Air Force Base, California 13 days 21 and one half days after its July 26th launch.

NASA posted this mission summary:

Discovery spent two weeks in space, where the crew demonstrated new methods to inspect and repair the Shuttle in orbit. The crew also delivered supplies, outfitted and performed maintenance on the International Space Station. A number of these tasks were conducted during three spacewalks.

In an unprecedented event, spacewalkers were called upon to remove protruding gap fillers from the heat shield on Discovery's underbelly. In other spacewalk activities, astronauts installed an external platform onto the Station’s Quest Airlock and replaced one of the orbital outpost’s Control Moment Gyroscopes.

Inside the Station, the STS-114 crew conducted joint operations with the Expedition 11 crew. They unloaded fresh supplies from the Shuttle and the Raffaello Multi-Purpose Logistics Module. Before Discovery undocked, the crews filled Raffeallo with unneeded items and returned to Shuttle payload bay.

Discovery's mission was successful according to Florida Today.

Even though Discovery performed with near perfection, NASA was lucky. Foam insulation that fell off Discovery's fuel tank during ascent and almost struck the ship in a near-repeat of Columbia's catastrophic damage.

NASA failed to solve the foam debris problem in the 2 1/2 years following the loss of Columbia. That is a problem NASA couldn't afford not to solve. It may be time for drastic changes at NASA.
http://cayankee.blogs.com/cayankee/2005/08/

Bad writing aside wink the gist seems to be acting as a liason to the International Space Station, delivering supplies and such.

I don't know, the entire deal, from the International Space station on down to the shuttle program seems like such a collosal, stagnating waste.  Shouldn't we have conquered the solar system by this point??  ??  big_smile

Maybe it's better we haven't yet conquered the solar system. Corporations would buy up real estate and planets would be given trademarked names like Marsbucks and McPluto.

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

McPluto...that's good!  big_smile

After reading the article blurb bit that I posted, I began thinking about the space station deal, orbitting around Earth.  Just further reiterates how much we're stagnating.  Aside from failed Mars probes, and some probes to Titan and Jupiter, the best we're doing is to stick to orbiting the planet in relatively close proximity.  I mean, it's cool to orbit Earth and see the great blue marble from that vantage point. It's nothing to sneeze at, but.........we've already done it now, like 5,000 times. Where's the progress?   What about the idea of taking things to the next level?  Supposedly we went to the moon.  But in the 30 years since that time, man hasn't left Earth's orbit.

??

No attempts to return to the moon, and still not one attempt to send a manned mission to Mars.  We should have already BEEN to Mars and back by this point....and then some.   We've actually REGRESSED................all we're doing now is what they were doing in the early 70's....planetary probes, and orbitting the Earth. !!!   But I don't believe it's for lack of technology or know-how.  They know how to do it, and they have the technology.

What's going on here?   Something is amiss.  I just wish more people would question this and I wish it would get mainstream coverage.

When I stopped to ponder some reasons why they're keeping us in technological stagnation, I did come up with a theory.  If I had to summarize the thought ball that flashed through my mind, it involves the idea of a very clear delineation and *branching off* between "Us" (humankind = sheep = the herd in the pen) and "Them" (the controllers, the sheepherder, the peeps who run the planet.)   Before the mid-2oth century they controlled us, but they were still "with us", if that makes sense.  With us in the sense of being on the same level we are.   But after all the alien schtuff since the 1940's, they have gone and branched off and are pretty much doin' their own thing technology-wise at this point, hence the reason they're 30 - 150 years, maybe more, ahead of what we see in the "real world."   So they still control us...rigidily.....but they're no longer "with us", and don't bother investing into the herd anything more than they absolutely have to.   They drip feed us just enough so that most people won't think to ask questions, but that's about it.

It's like an emotionally absent parent.  big_smile  I don't know, that's the analogy that came to mind.  The parent who enforces strict rules, but at the same time who is in their own little world and who maintains a distance, not involved or even close to being on the same level.

Just my theory.  Who knows.
