Topic: NASA and the Shuttle program are a ruse
In light of the latest "Discovery" shuttle mission, I know I can't be the only one out there noticing that um, it's 2005, and we're still hauling ourselves around up in space in a vehicle that was designed and built in the late 1970's. Hello, whatever happened to technological progress?
My bro was the first person that I encountered to bitch about this, and that was back in 2000. Before him, I'd never even thought about it. But after he pointed it out, I was like, "heeeeeyyyy...wait a minute..." ding ding ding.
We've all grown up on sci-fi..............remember where they predicted we'd be by this time? This is 2005......this was supposed to be *the* time of technological advancement according to all those movies we were raised on. Instead we're still floating around up in space in delapodated old shuttles that explode, or threaten to explode, because of foam pieces falling off?? Two shuttle explosion catastrophes to date, and a third rescue mission currently in progress with even the Russians getting in on the deal, offering their assistance to rescue the U.S. crew should it get to that point. (I don't love the Shuttle; do love the post-cold war comraderie though! very cool....)
And speaking of technology, we're still getting from Point A to Point B on the ground using 2,000 pound metal boxes on rubber wheels that guzzle gasoline and oil???
Hello............it's 2005. Where's the technology! The Jetsons, anybody?? ![]()
Another thing - and I've mentioned this part before, but in California, my brother was a techno wizard and had half of his bedroom filled with radio scanning equipment, much of it self rigged using aluminum tubes and wires, whatever he could find, mixed in amongst the row of radios and word processors that were connected to the radios and reprogrammed to process the info. Because of that, I was able to listen in on a MIR mission, (in Russian and all!) back when it was still in orbit, and also NASA happenings as well. We were able to pick up Cape Canaveral Florida all the way from Rancho Santa Margarita, California. Pretty neat. But my point being, my brother said that what NASA is really working on versus what they show the public are two totally different things. He listened to test runs of anti-gravity devises that crashed and burned, followed by a lot of cussing and people bitching about how much money that cost, etc. and so on. And that's just NASA. That's not even the shadow factions.
So, a little something to think about. One more reason to roll your eyes at the mainstream news. Stagnation would be the word for things I think. Everything is stagnating. The best technological advancement they could come up with for transportation is the hybrid car?? Computers are smaller and faster and now have flat screens...........................but we're supposed to believe that they didn't already have this capability 30 years ago? Come on. Anybody who studies up on this stuff knows that whatever technology we're being shown is 30+ years behind what the secret factions have. In reading MILABS / alien abduction accounts which took place in the 50's, 60's and 70's, I'm struck by the descriptions of the technology that was witnessed by the abductees.........technology that did not exist in the mainstream at that point in time. One such account from the 60's involved military personnel swiping cards through scanner to open doors. We have that now. Go to any hotel in America, that's pretty much the door key system everybody now uses. I worked in the hotel industry in SoCal the 90's though, and I know that key cards didn't start coming about until the mid 90's. I still remember the old fashioned metal key system. That's how late to the game electronic key cards were to the mainstream public.
They drip feed us little technological "advancements" here, a little bit there, but don't be fooled.......they have much, much more going on behind closed doors. And the shuttle program would be a totally funny joke if they weren't actually endangering the lives of every astronaut who steps foot in one of those antiquated, technologically backwards beasts. When I heard about the Discovery's latest technological mishap, causing two emergency space walks to repair it just so the thing can land in one piece, I broke my rule of detached news observation and became very frustrated and upset. Totallly admire any astronaut who's capable of donning all that clunky space gear and performing mechanical repairs on a shuttle in zero gravity 300 miles above Earth. But I'm very annoyed at NASA for continuing this ruse, jeopardizing people's lives.
Okay, rant over.
But hope that was some food for thought. Anybody feel free to comment......
