Topic: Pendulums | Vortex Plates

I suspect somehow pendulum science can be connected with cymatics.  Maybe the phase relationship of the pendulum dimensions and the Earth's rotation can be correlated to the dimensions of a material medium and it's resonant frequency.

Pendulum photography is where the pattern created by swinging pendulums is recorded using a light source and camera set on a long time exposure. In the simplest case a point light source is attached to a weight which suspends from the ceiling by a single thin line. A camera is placed underneath the pendulum and the room darkened. As the pendulum swings its motion is recorded by the camera as a moving line which traces out a swirling pattern. One magazine article called the resulting images 'star tracks', and the analogy is in fact apt. The same principle is used to capture the streak of stars (in effect the rotation of the earth) across the night sky.

Also, from Harmonic Vibrations and Vibration Figures, Joseph Goold writes about "Vortex Plates":

A method capable of much more extended application is that which I had the good fortune to discover some years ago.

In this method the necessary excitation of the plate is produced by gently rubbing it on any one of its ventral segments with a specially constructed vibrator which has been described as a "synchronising sound generator."

Re: Pendulums | Vortex Plates

Thanks for posting this info, Cameron - this is yet another example of macroscopic order arising from otherwise seemingly random microscopic phenomena. Like in cymatics - each sand particle in motion appears to move randomly, and yet as a whole a goemetric pattern arises. Ark at the QFS has been doing research into quantum fractals, which describe how intricate order can arise collectively from otherwise random quantum events. When you take into account that the randomness of quantum events originate with consciousness, then this gives insight into the origins of the order we perceive as physical reality.

Hans Jenny, the founder of cymatics, included a chapter on these patterns in his book. His main point is that while these patterns can be broken down into their components and analyzed, after the analysis is done one should then make an effort to see the pattern as a whole again.

He used oscillating electron beams (via an oscilloscope) whose vertical and horizontal components were set at different frequencies and starting phases. Lissajou figures and other interesting patterns like the vortex plate above came up. Then he experimented with deflecting the electron beams using magnets. This time, the patterns were incredibly complex and dynamic, but still retained order.

You quoted Joseph Goold as using vibrations to enhance the vortex plate patterns. Hans Jenny using magnets may do something similar - in the report about a german free energy device by Hans Coler,  permanent magnets are said to have oscillations in their field which oscillate at 180khz. Perhaps this affected Hans Jenny's patterns, just as vibrations enhanced the vortex plate patterns.

This magnetic vibration is said to be tapped in several types of purported free energy devices. Also, the C's mentioned underground bases being lit via magnetic resonance. So here is a connection between magnetism - resonance - vibrations - and in an indirect way the cymatic/vortexplate patterns above.

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

Re: Pendulums | Vortex Plates

What's notable about both Jenny and Goold is their interest is these organic looking vortex figures.

Here's a drawing of some of Goold's plate patterns (from Harmonic Vibration).  The third one down shows the vortex figure that Jenny points out in Cymatics - seen here.  They both speak of the spiral path the particles take; through the 'chain' or 'tail' and into the vortex.

I can't help but notice a resemblance in these cymatic and plate images to many cosmic images - like this.  As well, there is a clear similarity between these frequency generated resonant images and some crop circles.

In Secrets of the Fields, Fred Silva makes the connection.  He notes the symbols of sound vibration scales found in the crop circles.  He also points out a particular crop formation he thinks mirrors a cymatic image.

You're probably in the right direction concerning the jump from this sound/vibration -> kinetic vortex to a magnetic/resonant -> electric generator.  Just as harmonic frequencies in a plate or other material allows for geometric figures and vortex motion to manifest - an electromagnetic device with rotating fields may allow for electromagnetic or electrogravitational phenomena to come about.

Also, just as the Wilberforce Pendulum transfers kinetic energy between rotational, torsional and longitudinal frequencies -- so may a free energy device transfer magnetic energy between rotating magnetic fields.

Ingredients for potent energy soup:

- 7 magnetic oscillators
- 3 frequency generators
- 3 Wilberforce Pendulum
- 15 Goold Vortex Plates
...
- 1 finger to press start smile

(who knows, maybe it will come out looking like this guy) - kidding, of course wink

Re: Pendulums | Vortex Plates

BTW, for what it's worth - Ark's java program - quantum fractals - does generate some interesting images

(this one's been of course touched up a bit)
