Topic: Can anybody explain how to do...

Can anybody explain how to perform a simple, kineisiological muscle test?  (from Applied Kineisiology).

I was introduced to the idea at about 14 or 15 when I went to class in an herbal shop, but I forget all of the procedure.

Who asks the yes/no or true/false question?  Does the person resisting having their arm pushed down try as effortfully as they can to resist?  Etc...

Re: Can anybody explain how to do...

That's funny. I just realized I don't remember all of the particulars. Funny, considering how into it I once was (well, mainly because a girlfriend was). I have a vague recollection of having to do some exercise to balance the brain hemispheres before she tested me.

I used to do a kind of party trick when I tested people before and after they performed the sign of the cross.  You have them hold their arm straight out and then you test them by pushing down with one or two fingers on their wrist. Then, have them perform the sign of the cross and you test them again. The hypnotherapist I studied with made people remove all metal. We used to test ourselves at the health food store with various supplements in the other hand. Always attracted a crowd.

Wanderfalke,

Google kinesielogy and much may be of use. I know little of it, but if you are interested the internet has much info available for exploration. I recollect a thread on this very subject some months back. Do a search on this forum and see what comes up.

Happy exploring,

dreamosis,

Here's a link to some Kinesiology Self-Testing instructions. There are also some other links about Kinesiology at the bottom of the page.

Re: Can anybody explain how to do...

All I know is that it works! And is a great way to diagnose health problems. I'm seeing a great spanish kinseologist and it's amazing. I lie back on a bed and put my arms over the side of my head and he puts some kind of electrode (???) on my stomach and then does all these figures of eight and brings your hands together and claps them. It was very strange at first. However, he asks the body questions and the muscles respond. So, he diagnosis from what your body is telling him. Fascinating, huh? He was very shocked once and kept repeating and repeating a particular exercise and shaking his head in disbelief... and when I asked him if all was ok, he said... ' I can't believe it. Your body has just told me to back off the medication as it would like to start doing stuff on it's own, now.'... Considering that I was very ill, I don't know who was more shocked, him or me. But the body proved to be right and then I really started to get much better! x

Re: Can anybody explain how to do...

Zonabi,

Many chiropractors use kinesiology and I even had a dentist that used it as well.  The cost was for the chiro or dentist, so I don't know about "just" kinesiology.  You can assume any of them will have their favorite supplements that they will suggest you buy ... and those run fairly high!

As for conservative?  Isn't that an oxymoron when used with kinesiology? smile  You couldn't get my conversative friends to even agree there is ANYTHING but the chiro/dentist/whatevers increased strengh when pushing on the arm at work.

Try it though.  It certainly can't kill you smile Unlike other more conversative <g> practises!

Re: Can anybody explain how to do...

I've been to a naturopath who uses kinesiology to find what the cause of the dis-ease is (among other uses of this brilliant tool).  On several occasions the cause turned out to be suppressed emotions.  He has huge lists that he scans down and muscle tests for best option, in each sub-section of testing that he does.  Tested for which emotion to go for.  Then for which word describing the emotion best resonated with me.  Then tested for which way to access the emotion. A couple of times it turned out to be age regression.  Used kinesiology to test for which age/ages were linked with this particular emotion.

At each step of the way, he asks, do you want to go after the cause now? So the ultimate control is in your hands - so to speak.

When he really got deep, I released the emotion - it sort of bubbled up and out it came.  Sometimes its easier than others, depending on how buried it is, or how well it's masked.  He can pick up resistance by how easily your arm tests.

To help release emotions, he puts his hand on several points on the forehead to bring the memory forward and help release.  And gives a visualisation of tying the emotion to a balloon and letting it float away.  (On one, I ended up with a whole bunch of balloons before the sucker lifted off!  But it eventually worked)!

Then he tests to find best method to heal - could be anything from bach flower rememdies, to new affirmation, again, huge list to check.

(He checks in blocks at first, 1-100 / 101-200, for example - then hones in on specific numbers in the list/s).

Then provides the remedy, or advises you go get it, or whatever.

Obviously, you then have a deeper awareness of something / emotion / programming / whatever, so you can spot it as a pattern in your life afterwards, and choose not to buy into it any more. But I've found that just the kinesiology itself has been sufficient not to be bothered by the issue again.  My relationships with people who I've held issues with have got better, and also people who unconsciously reminded me of the original person - have also improved smile

For much of my adult life I suffered constant nagging lower back pain.  Since working with this guy, I don't have it any more.  Its gone.  Occasionally get back pain if I lift badly (work in fruit shop, lifting heavy fruit boxes etc).

I'm saving up to do the motivational kinesiology course - taught by a fellow who lives nearby me.  I've seen its almost limitless application possibilities, and how powerful it has been (for me) in releasing not just emotional, but belief systems and also physical pain. I can't rave on about it enough! lol wink

Re: Can anybody explain how to do...

ive also heard that this kinesiology can be used to help find and destroy psychological implants like programmed commands or words bla bla etc.

what i meant with the conservative remark is, i dont want to end up with this snake kinesiologist who wants to sell me all this new age wannabe products and stuff....

so if i go to a chiropractor, do i ask if he does kinesiology? or do all of them do it ? do i need to ask him any things? should i mention that i may have had alien abductions before...

....only kidding on the last part....

Re: Can anybody explain how to do...

That's a toughie, Zonabi. There are a lot of bad healers out there, so you have to be careful. It helps if you have personal feedback from friends or if that's impossible, ask to speak to these people first and see how they feel to you. Healing is a very personal experience and you have to feel/know that they are right for you. i've been lucky but I've also left the room if I  felt strongly that they were wrong for me. Sounds tough but in the end I've always been found the one  right for me in the end. It's a gut thing. Ps. This is purely my opinion but I wouldn't trust many doctors who've suddenly added alternative medicines to their list. They are still swayed by the western perception. just a thought.
