I've been to a naturopath who uses kinesiology to find what the cause of the dis-ease is (among other uses of this brilliant tool). On several occasions the cause turned out to be suppressed emotions. He has huge lists that he scans down and muscle tests for best option, in each sub-section of testing that he does. Tested for which emotion to go for. Then for which word describing the emotion best resonated with me. Then tested for which way to access the emotion. A couple of times it turned out to be age regression. Used kinesiology to test for which age/ages were linked with this particular emotion.
At each step of the way, he asks, do you want to go after the cause now? So the ultimate control is in your hands - so to speak.
When he really got deep, I released the emotion - it sort of bubbled up and out it came. Sometimes its easier than others, depending on how buried it is, or how well it's masked. He can pick up resistance by how easily your arm tests.
To help release emotions, he puts his hand on several points on the forehead to bring the memory forward and help release. And gives a visualisation of tying the emotion to a balloon and letting it float away. (On one, I ended up with a whole bunch of balloons before the sucker lifted off! But it eventually worked)!
Then he tests to find best method to heal - could be anything from bach flower rememdies, to new affirmation, again, huge list to check.
(He checks in blocks at first, 1-100 / 101-200, for example - then hones in on specific numbers in the list/s).
Then provides the remedy, or advises you go get it, or whatever.
Obviously, you then have a deeper awareness of something / emotion / programming / whatever, so you can spot it as a pattern in your life afterwards, and choose not to buy into it any more. But I've found that just the kinesiology itself has been sufficient not to be bothered by the issue again. My relationships with people who I've held issues with have got better, and also people who unconsciously reminded me of the original person - have also improved
For much of my adult life I suffered constant nagging lower back pain. Since working with this guy, I don't have it any more. Its gone. Occasionally get back pain if I lift badly (work in fruit shop, lifting heavy fruit boxes etc).
I'm saving up to do the motivational kinesiology course - taught by a fellow who lives nearby me. I've seen its almost limitless application possibilities, and how powerful it has been (for me) in releasing not just emotional, but belief systems and also physical pain. I can't rave on about it enough!
