Re: Dreams

I was going over my dream journal lately, and found a smattering of dreams (usually lucid) wherein I came upon an alien baby.

One was a lucid flying dream.  I was flying and felt something behind me.  I turned to look back and right behind my shoulder there was a flying baby with not two eyes, but six.  It frightened me so badly I woke up.

Another time I was having a conversation with a friend (weirdly, in a tree).  I was sitting apart from him and not looking at him directly.  For some reason, I moved close to him and found that he had six eyes, too.  This creature was pretending to be my friend.

Anybody have similar experiences?

Re: Dreams

For a while I've been getting messages through dreams in the form of symbolic puns. So when I interpret a dream symbol, I make sure to consider the symbol's name or descriptive phrase as a possible pun in addition to the archetypal meaning of the symbol itself.

In a recent example, the past couple nights I've had dreams involving the weather suddenly turning to snow in connection with the presence of Eddie Vedder (singer from Pearl Jam). Since it was a specific person, and one I won't be interacting with any time soon, I figured the name itself must be a clue. This morning while pondering the name during another dream, the answer hit me: eddy weather, as in turbulent weather. The sudden change of weather to snow supports this interpretation. The subconscious can be pretty clever, eh?

Actually, I don't buy the mainstream explanation about how mundanely the subconscious produces dream symbols. Rather, it makes more sense to me that symbols are the only way messages can survive passage between the higher levels of consciousness we access while asleep and the more limited and linear mindset we resume upon waking. Symbols are easier to remember, more visually impressive, and are self-reinforcing like mnemonic tricks. Plus since archetypes express themselves in different symbols under different contexts that all point back to the originating archetype, turning a message into a symbol lets the meaning stay retrievable when transitioning contexts (going from dreaming to waking). So perhaps we learn things earlier in the night and figure out how to package such warnings or lessons into symbolic plots and characters, so that these can be remembered upon waking up and the meaning then retrieved.

Re: Dreams

Here's a dream.  It doesn't seem very coherent, but at the time, it made sense, as dreams do.

I (i think it was me, but sometimes i have dreams where the person is me but not) was at a morgue.  We weren't accepting bodies, but we were dreading the radio confirming that the morgue we were at was closed-down, or not accepting any more bodies.  Outside, I witnessed a UFO crashing into a lake, with little lighted buoys and alien beings floating behind (this was at night).  A woman was pointing at the sky, saying "Can't you see it!  The Spear!  The Orions are dropping the Spear!"  I couldn't see anything abnormal about the sky.

The next morning, something was wrong with the dog (I was thrown into this set of circumstances and people, though I knew none of them.  For some reason, I thought I had had the dream before, even while I was dreaming it.)  The dog was acting strange, abnormally violent.  It used to be meek.  But I watched, with another, as it killed another dog savagely.  We (strangers, but I knew them in the dream) were planning on putting the dog down with a shotgun.  I said, "Yes, the dog and the owl."  I picked up the owl and it looked into my eyes, and I remember getting emotional, and saying, "Well, maybe the owl.  We can put off the owl."  The TV was on, and I had the feeling that an epidemic that was going to make everyone behave like the dog was immenent, sort of like those zombie movies.  It was all so familiar to me, as if I knew what was going on.

Also, there was a newspaper that, everytime I looked at it, it made me emotional.  So I started looking at it closely.  It was from the District of Columbia, and it had a seal on the right top corner.  It had a daily article about a "Witty Photo".  On the other side, it showed the American Eagle seal, but the national bird was "the dumbbird".  Nothing about the headlines struck out; it was all typical.

More than that, I don't recall anything.

First observations?  The time of the Dog, Sirius, and the Owl, Moloch, are coming to an end.  For some reason, I was sympathetic to the Owl, but it might be programming, because looking at the owl I was emotional and having second thoughts about shooting the owl (which, at the time, I associated with a wizard's familiar), which had seemed as a sort of prescient, must do thing.  Epidemic, morgues closing, perhaps prophetic.  The Orion's Spear falling, I don't know.  Perhaps the Orions are supposed to be ending the Dog and Owl?  Or we are, here on Earth.  Reminded me of the Spear of Destiny, the one Longinius used to make sure that Jesus was dead on the Cross, and subsequently the final blow.

Re: Dreams

okay had my first 'flying saucer aliens' dream the other day, so real quick description here. as a side note I'm posting because I very rarely or never have dreams about aliens and so this is one of the only two I can remember

--Flying Saucer Incident--

I wan in a [school?] with a bunch of others and it was nite time. Everyone there knew something bad was happening but I seemed to be the only one who knew exactly _what_ was going to happen. I knew that the aliens were coming and they were coming for _us_. So basically I kept running to different sides inside the school to look out the windows and try to see from where they were coming from. Finally I looked out of one of the windows from within the school and there they were. Three HUGE VERY BRIGHT disks descended from above. And I knew they were here.

Then I was in another place in the same dream, an outside street in some town with the same scenario about people knowing something bad was gonna happen. Everyone seemed to be hiding from something. So again I kept watching to see from where they were coming but that time I do not remember seeing any more discs.

I would add that at the time of this dream in my life there was literally nothing to do with aliens whatsoever. I wasn't reading or researching anything about aliens at the time.

I am as is Void.

Re: Dreams

Had another dream the night before last.

I was in a motel room on a sea front, it was night and the tides were very rough.  The door to the motel room was open, and I was looking outside.  To the left extended a concrete jetty, the waves crashing around it.  At the end were a number of people; three were women with blonde hair - they all looked identical.  Beside them were large beings almost metallic in colour - not human, at first I took them to be robots.

I got a sense of unease at seeing them so I backed into the room and tried to close the door...but a man appeared...he pushed the door open and stood there.  His face was totally smooth, fairly young (about 30) he had dark hair.  He had no malice on his face, but appeared to totally lack empathy of any kind.  He said something to me, I can't remember what it was...and then threatened me.  I grew fearful and didn't want to be hurt.

At that point he grabbed me and pushed me back into the wall, he pushed his thumb into the inside of my hip (groin area), and oddly this really hurt!  I knew at this point the guy wasn't human, as was actually a hybrid between human form and one of the matalic looking creatures.  I tried to push his hand down and away from me to stop the pain.  And this I remember very vividly, the strength in his arm was phemoninal...I had absolutly no strength to budge him at all.  At this point I began to realise it must be some form of dream and tried to summon physical strength to repel him, but he was to strong.

At that point I woke up, and instantly physcally twisted in the bed as though I was escaping his grip.  The pain in my groin remained for a little while before going.

Not sure if this was all just a dream or what it was.

And I have never experienced pain in my dreams before - has anyone else had this before?

Re: Dreams

Hi Dream,

Your dream was very interesting. I although did not have quite similar dreams like yours but I do remember one particular dream that I had years ago....

I dreamt that I was abducted by 2 adult size aliens who had greenish grey and slimy skin. Tall, thin and no hair at all.

I remembered it very vividly till this day. It was very very real.

It happened in 1991. In the middle of the night. I woked up from some kind of flashing light outside my bedroom window. At that time we lived in a farm house in the country and the closest neighbor was  miles away. Curiously, I looked at my watch to check the time. (I have a habit of wearing my watch to bed ) it was about 5 am. I looked around me and saw my husband (now my ex) sleeps soundly next to me and the kids are snoring away in their room next to mine.

I asked myself is this a dream? Then at that moment, 2 figures walked in to my bed room thru the windows ( the bed room is on the 2nd floor) and come toward me. They then carried me up one on the right, the other on the left. I was so frighten and I was totaly paralized. My body was completely numb but I was concious. the only thing was able to move was my eyes. I tried to scream but I couldn't. As they carried my past my older son's room I tried to called out his name but I was totaly paralized. Then I blacked out.

The next thing, I woke up, I felt so refresh and well rested. Almost like I had a wonderful night of sleeps.

Puzzely, I looked at the time and it was only 5.30 am. Everyone in the family is still sleeping and outside is still dark. I had to get up because I felt so fresh and well rested and I decided to write down the dream and even drawn the picture of the aliens who carried me.

Later on, I told my family and my son Tom show me his Alien Timelife Book, to my shocking, one of the alien figure reported in that book looks just like the one in my dream.

Now was I really abducted?

What do you think? Anyone have any openion about my dream?

Thanks!

Sue

Re: Dreams

Sorry to post yet another thread.

I mentioned a recent dream in the dreams thread.  I won't go over it again, but during it I was physically attacked and experienced quite a lot of pain.  I am wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this?

...I don't have the knowledge or expertise to speculate about whether you really were abducted or not.  I will say your broad description sounds very much like (almost word for word) the description of the beginning of abductions in "The Threat" by Dr. David Jacobs.

Jacobs' portrayal of the abduction phenomenon is not bright and shiny, but you might find an intuitive confirmation in the book. smile

Re: Dreams

Yes, I have had many dreams where I have felt physical pain. The one that sticks out the most in my memory is a dream I had when I was about 10 years old.
I was in the backyard of my home, and a giant bee was flying around. To avoid it from spotting me I had to remain perfectly still, but it didn't work. The bee alighted on my back and stung me in the centre of my spine. I woke up almost mid-sting, my back arching like I had been electrocuted and a sharp jolt of pain traversed up the length of my spine.

Re: Dreams

I've occasionally felt physical pain in my dreams.  But often, even when I've been shot at (sometimes I find myself in a war zone - don't know if real/etheric or dream/symbolic) I observe the wound, but there's no actual real damage or pain.

I do however, feel emotional pain a lot.  For instance, last night I dreamt that my husband had gone up a smoking volcano and I had let my 6-year old son go along with him - even though I had a feeling that children couldn't tolerate the environment.  They fell asleep overnight and in the morning my son had died.

I was absolutely devastated and the dream lasted AGES with me going round grieving and trying to get him brought back to life or cloned.

(A Jungian psychologist would probably have a field day with that one. lol)

Several times I have been mind-scanned (by advanced race female) in dreams and have felt a strong pressure in my head pressing down onto my top teeth.  An uncomfortable, wierd but familiar sensation.

Re: Dreams

Thank you so much for your openion dream, I don't know the book "The Threat" by Dr. David Jacob, but it sure bring to my attention. I will check it out.

Thanks again and God bless!

Re: Dreams

@Montalk - did you mention there was a digital version of The Threat floating around?

Re: Dreams

You can find it in the files area now. Small file, good read for anyone needing a decent intro to the alien abduction subject. Segues nicely into Karla Turner's "Taken."

Re: Dreams

Here's a dream:

Me and one or two (it changed during) people went into a military installation looking for a micro-chip.  We ended up in a room, searching.  We were attacked by military people while we were there.  Troops in the halls and loads of trucks and helicopters outside.  The whole time, I was using these powers.  One such power was feeling where this micro-chip was.  Another was attacking those soldiers that were approaching down the hall.  The thing about those attacks was that they were clearly make-believe.  Such as imagining fire going out of my hands to consume the soldiers.  There was no fire coming out of my hands, but I imagined it so.  I knew it was only real in my imagination (I was even making "fire" sounds, like a kid will do when playing), but it had a real effect on the soldiers.  Same for producing a flood to sweep them all away.

Oddly, I told the soldiers that were attacking in the hall to line up, and they did, in ranks.  "We're attacking recruits?" I asked, almost disgusted.  For some reason, I felt it was wrong to harm these recruits, as opposed to real soldiers.  These recruits then pored into room and sat down as if they were students, becoming small children as they did so.  The person I was with was told by a student where this micro-chip was.  This other person held up a white bunny to me, and said "Alice".  He then proceeded to open the bunny, which was like a piggy-bank, and take out the micro-chip.

We escaped the building with no complications.  We weren't attacked or hindered in any way.  Outside, we had to step over a fence, by putting a foot on the top wire (these fences were much like barbed-wire fences).  On the way, just before us, was a mother with two young girls.  She stepped over with one child, then took her foot off the fence, leaving behind the younger.  I then went over and stepped on the fence and helped the girl that was left behind over, reuniting them all.  We then all walked, the mother, children, and I, out to a parking lot, where I saw a truck with a camper-shell driving away.  On the back window of this camper-shell was the sign of Taurus.
