Re: Money as debt
Tolstoy wrote ... "Money is a new form of slavery...
... There is no human relation between the master and slave..."
There is nothing wrong with money per se. Ideally [in a society of relatively imperfect beings] it should represent the individual intelligence and energy of the individual. After all, when it is in our hands it in some way represents a return for service rendered, albeit there are gross distortions on the valuation of different services. In the absence of total commune -ism, money is the blood supply of economic life. It gets almost everyone off their butts. In the absence of a perfected consciousness of charity and service to others, money is a motivator to service. Not the ultimate motivator but [in a society of relatively imperfect beings] a necessary motivator nevertheless. [it is obvious that total communistic societies cannot produce their own needs because of the absence of a STO orientation and because it's only expression has been the rule of the few over the many. Same old same old.]
I don't know the context in which Tolstoy is quoted but he more likely was talking about the relationship between the issuers of credt as debt [the private central bankers] and the people they control through that private monopoly. Not money per se. That relationship is the master / slave one for sure. A properly regulated system of paper [ and/or electronic] currency, backed by gold and silver and publically held in the power of the people's congress, would be a huge step in the right direction. It is the extreme distortions of supply and allocation by the private monopoly that is the problem.
As Tolstoy says, " there is no HUMAN relationship between master and slave." True. That's because there is no human relationship between parasite and host. But money per se is no parasite. We can be the master of money not it's servant. While the present bankers maintain their unconscionable and unconstitutional money powers they are the masters over the average Joe. It is that relationship that must and is being exposed. If it can be overcome and the money power re- constituted in public hands then all the other controls [given expression through gov/corp and tax free foundations] which distort politics, education, science etc can be reigned in too.
Money will be around on this planet for a long time yet. No "shift" around 2012 will change that. A minority of people on earth will be more sensitive to the christ- consciousness going forward but change [of anything including the money system] can only come about as an expression of that higher consciousness.... individual by individual. Change will not be imposed on this earth or it's people by virtue of earth's position in relation to galactic center or even by virtue of the increase in spiritual energy released to the earth at this time. Change can only result from catching the spark and integrating ourselves with it. That change in consciousness is the motivation to change the world. If it happens to enough people then that change and the subsequent change in world affairs can be more than evolutionary. Like the birth of the USA it can be revolutionary.
We don't merely create our own reality by observation. We do it by acting on what we see and we do it by failing to act on what we see. By failing to act we thereby allow stronger wills to mould our environment more than we do ourselves. I sometimes shudder when i read people saying that their current personal perceptions [ held as a mental concept] will give them immunity if/when the shite hits the fan. The current environment is the effect of billions of beings over long periods of time causing the effects we now see and by our freewill acceptance of it. We are not merely creating it in the present by our present perceptions. The present environment is pre- sent. We ourselves in this and other incarnations have made our causative contributions. The law of karma rolls through the mental and astral planes and crashes on the shores of the physical plane. Looking the other way wont help change it. A higher perspective can help navigate the waters and mitigate the storm's fury. But, like the current spiritual wave is due, so too is the wave of karma. Opportunities must be seen when they appear. On the surface of this earth, when people have wanted freedom enough they have had it.
Seeing the problems and seeing their solutions is key. If you personally don't know what to do about the money system then why not support someone who does. No one person can change the whole world in an instant. That said, some public roles in particular are more powerful than others when used in the service of freedom. i've watched Ron Paul's you tube vids recently and i am very impressed with him. That is christ speaking truth to power. I won't go into the problems of the political system or Ron Paul's chances in a rigged system where trust for all politicians is zero anyway. But if people won't support someone who loves their freedom more than his own what will they do? People don't have to make a choice between supporting him or advancing solutions in some other way. We can do both. He deserves to succeed whether or not that is in the role of republican presidential nominee. But capturing that role is worth the effort.
The political system itself has become such a well oiled joke that those behind it [and some in front] are laughing in our faces. They cannot conceal anymore that they are the enemies of freedom not it's protectors. Swallow your pride those of you who trust no- one who appears in the enemy's camp. Ron Paul's emergence at the trough where all pigs have their snouts is a very similar symbol to the story Moses. Moses was taken in by his adoptive Egyptian family and raised as an Egyptian. At the heart of temporal power [the royal family of Egypt] he certainly was not expected to side with the slaves but he did. I can imagine very similar contentions among the slaves [who were divided over Moses integrity] as i've read in some of the anti -Ron Paul comments around the traps. Mistrust and feelings of impotence run deep in people who have been so decieved and conditioned for so long. See enough of Ron Paul and you know where he's coming from.
The consequences for the world of success or failure [of legalising the US Constitution] is huge. Just huge. It is a moment no less auspicious than the 1770s. Our eyes are open and we now have the spiritual wind in our sails to make a difference. Just wanted to add my typing finger to one very inspiring candle in the wind.
