Topic: Merkaba

http://www.crystalinks.com/merkaba.html

I've been practicing the Merkaba meditation for about a month now and I haven't had any bad experiences with it or anything, I feel great after i do it....

But I have read some material on the internet that made me a little concerned saying that the Drunvalo version of the Merkaba could be dangerous, and I've learned that Drunvalo is a shady character.

Just like to hear your thoughts on the Merkaba meditation and if its dangerous or not.

Re: Merkaba

The question is not so much whether Drunvalo is shady or CIA or whatever people say.

The question one needs to ask is - do I want to travel down this path - if I continue to do this merkaba meditation - where will it lead me?

Ask yourself what your intention is? What outcome are you looking for?

Re: Merkaba

I thought most were using it to escape this place...eventually. Mr. D doesn't hide the fact that he works with the dark side in his lectures. So is this one of their practices?

Re: Merkaba

I've had the opportunity to read all of Bob Frissell's writings, and that's where I learned about Drunvalo and the Merkaba.

From what I can gather now after I've read other people's opinions, namely Steve Gamble, I can honestly say that I wouldn't ever try to build a Merkaba around myself. Not all is as it seems.

A merkaba in the olden days was nothing more than a chariot of sorts used to carry around royalty. It was not a spiritual vehicle, but man has made it so in his power-hungry interpretations of history.

Just like to hear your thoughts on the Merkaba meditation and if its dangerous or not.

I think that it could be dangerous if you are a truth seeker. Because ultimately, building a false 'vehicle' around oneself is akin to reaching externally for the answers that lie within.

When first reading Bob's work, I thought it would be great to be able to go to the next 'density' or whatever by using this symbolism, but that was before I learned that all this symbolism is tied to manmade, false belief systems. And honestly, I don't want to have anything to do with that shit anymore.  That is not how you transcend the control system/matrix.  It only serves to tie you into it more, and keep you caught up in the loop.

I would like to add that on the one occasion I tried the breathing excercises that come before visualising the actual merkaba, I had another fainting/seizure/stroke episode. Maybe it had nothing to do with the pranic breathing, but I am of a mind to accept that it was somehow connected. This, of course, was before I read the "Shopping for Spirit" articles which opened my eyes a little wider to the realization that most New Age stuff is just more of the same symbolism/religion crap, with a new name and a new mask.

Do what you will, however. Only you can decide what you feel comfortable in believing as truth.

Re: Merkaba

Wow, Seeking, that's wild that you had a really bad episode when doing a merkaba meditation -  I think that makes sense.

At one point I was trying to do the Drunvalo videos and imagine the merkaba and so forth around me, but I never felt it "click" and it didn't really resonate with me so I abandoned it.

I did have a shamanic encounter with Thoth during that period, who was supposedly once of Drunvalo's teachers.  It was a very interesting and personal vision that was very helpful to me at the time.  Thoth was a very mysterious figure though and I didn't warm up to him and didn't seek any more connections with him after that.  I think my own natural protection mechanism was kicking in saying, "You dont' need this!"

But years later one night my honey and I were inspired to try to do our own merkaba meditation. Not doing any of the breathing stuff or specific rigamarole that Drunvalo teaches - by then I'd forgotten it all, anyway! -- but just imagining the sacred shape of the merkaba around our energy fields as a way to connect with Spirit.

We only did the meditation for about ten minutes before we went to bed, felt a nice energy buzz, but didn't really think anything more about it as it wasn't something that seemed important to add to our "bag of tricks." It was more testing out the energy and going, "okay, there's energy in that, but so what?"  Since it didn't really connect with heart energy as strongly as some of our other prayers and invocations, it didn't seem like the greatest technique, but we kept an open mind about it.

The next morning my honey went off to work. I was working from home and at one point in the morning needed to run out for a bit. I got in the car and left and then realized I'd forgotten something and needed to go back home. About ten minutes had elapsed since I'd left the apartment.

At the time we were living in an apartment on the bottom floor of a building with three floors, four apartments on each floor. You had to buzz the intercom system outside and have the person in that apartment buzz you in the door to get in. (Of course, I'm sure this could be abused, but during the day very few people were home in that building and wouldn't normally be buzzing in just anybody who rang their intercom. The intercom also had a voice aspect to it, so you'd have to speak and say who you are as you buzzed an apartment for them to know it was okay to buzz you in.)

Anyway, I went back to the apartment, and a man is standing in the inner vestible (supposedly secure) looking visibly startled to see me.  Like I'd caught him in the act.

He showed me his ID. He was from the Department of Defense.  He then appeared to think very quickly on his feet and said he had been hired to do a security check on one of our neighbors. Except this particular "neighbor" hadn't been living there for years.  But the former neighbor had been former military and it is possible that he had gone on to apply for work somewhere else, thereby triggering a security check with his old neighbors.  My dad went through this as he left the active military and applied for government work that required a security clearance - people would sometimes check in on his neighbors to see if my dad had any dirt under his nose. (Which he didn't!)

Anyway, the department of the defense guy proceeded to ask me some questions, and he REALLY wanted my honey's phone number (he was the one renting the apartment.)  Allegedly to simply ask him about this neighbor of his.

So I gave him my honey's numbers at work and at home.

The man proceeded to call really intensely -- kept leaving messages for my honey at home and at work until he finally agreed to meet with the guy at his office for a few minutes.  And they talked about the former neighbor, and since my honey had never known the guy there wasn't much he could tell the DOD guy about him.

But it seemed a tad suspicious that within 12 hours of us doing this merkaba meditation and feeling some powerful energy go "click" that a Department of Defense person showed up in our secured vestible (it's highly doubtful anybody would have let him in that day; all of our other downstairs neighbors were NOT home.)  And then he seemed to come up with a suspicious story about what he was really doing there.  The whole time he seemed to want to know what we were all about, what we did for a living, etc.

Probably wanted to see if we were terrorists or anarchists since we had put out some kind of energy radiation with the merkaba meditation that was probably picked up on local scanners of some kind.

What's interesting to ponder is what would have happened if I hadn't come home and found him in the vestible?  Would he have broken into the apartment and snooped around?  Because that's what it looked like he was preparing to do.

Again, it's amazing to me how much a lot of the popular metaphysical stuff like remote viewing, merkaba stuff through Drunvalo, and so forth is heavily monitored by shady government types.

They can't come out and say "Doing merkaba meditations is illegal!" because that would mean they would have to acknowledge that there was real power in it.

Instead, there's lots of surveillance, the occasional bullying, and sometime an in your face "We're going to get rid of you because you pissed us off."

Anyway, I just wanted to share that as a cautionary tale about the merkaba stuff.  I'd never before had a Department of Defense spook show up where I was living and so boldly attempt to break in in the middle of the day.  Weird.

*Sigh* Like the C's say all is lessons. Thanks for the replies every one, I'm just glad I found out about this before I did any damage to myself.

Re: Merkaba

Hmm...I wonder if the situation with surveillence, etc. is any different in Canada?

I am with Starcat, matters of the spirit are always simple and i cannot reconcile merhkaba meditations with true spirituality.

Its not like we are fractions of the whole but rather versions of the whole.

I don't mean to discourage you from trying new things. I hope it didn't come across as such. Everything IS a lesson.

I think it was one of Montalk's article that said basically this:  we all have things in our incarnations that we were sent here to learn. Through these lessons, we evolve one more step. Whether you learn that lesson thru one avenue or another--it matters not. If your higher self thinks you need to learn something, you will..one way or another. So if it was meant to be that you would learn something very valuable by doing the Merkaba thing, then so be it. I was just telling you my experience with it (which wasn't a lot-granted).  But again, I learned my lesson on that one. And maybe that's what you need.

But I do think that people can learn lessons the easy way by learning from other people's mistakes. That's why I made a post concerning remote viewing. I have learned most of my lessons the hard way (by experiencing them first-hand), and I thought I might get some other people's views on RVing, so that maybe one of my lessons could be learned by other people's experiences. I don't know if that's possible. Maybe there was something I need to learn, and only by actually doing the aforementioned, will I ever gain that perspective. But RVing is pretty heavy, and I really didn't want to try it before I asked others about it. I had already had my suspicions about that, which is why I even bothered to ask. So I guess that's saying something: on one level I did learn a lesson, and I was able to swallow my pride and ask for advice.

I would just say to you: be very careful in the lessons you choose for yourself. Look inside to see if that path of learning will be beneficial to you in the long run. You may not even have a choice when it comes right down to it. Who knows? Maybe there are certain lessons you must learn the hard way. Nobody knows this, except for your higher self.

Re: Merkaba

Rarely do I hang in threads, but
I will offer one last bit about Merkabah for whoever might find resonance with what I am saying.

Merkabah is part of the Forces of Materialization, a subject I have written about more than once in this forum. The fact that Merkabah fields have something to do with binding energy into matter should raise a red flag.
These forces rule over the subatomic realms, the infradimensions, and beyond in our case. Part of the big problem on Earth is with boundaries and things having gotten out of their proper domain....and as thus, gained entrance into mankinds consciousness.... and are trying to run the entire show. Over and over again it is being stressed that bringing this kind of structure into the conscious domains is destructive. " Excessive structure " is against the life force. Its unbalanced, yang, mental, and always seeking to expand its influence beyond its real energy...and never in the present, outside of real time.

When these forces are properly understood and channeled they are totally at mankinds service and to his benefit. This however in our time is not the case. By our own blindness we have been grossly mislead...thank God many people are beginning to see this and wake up.

With respect to Merkabah, people do not know what they are doing, and do not have proper understanding of what they are fooling around with and are being led down the garden path by guru's claiming to have their best interests in mind.

If Jesus Christ were standing right here right now do you think he would say that you will gain entrance to heaven by doing your Merkabah thing?
Merkabah is a CONSTRUCT, and an EXTERNAL one.

Some of us have feeling-knowings of Atlantis and can sense what doors are better left unopened. The parallels to Atlantean stupidity are going to be checked by the intervention of those who will intervene.
Its not what people know but what they think they know that becomes dangerous.
Any time a persons name comes into prominance, watch out.
They are garnering psychic energy.
There will be energies flowing in support of those thoughtforms the following is endorsing......attempting to build castles in the sky  if you will, in some cases at the expense of something else. This is predatory.
Structure separates and divides things.
That is its nature, and we are learning about the applications of excessive structure in the absence of the proper influence of the divine feminine.

Re: Merkaba

I was wondering about this weeks ago.  So, i asked "dodeca" from the "unhived mind"http://z13.invisionfree.com/THE_UNHIVED_MIND/index.phphere is my question and his response

QUOTE
You know..druvalno's books.  Please understand that it is hard for me to fully understand all of the ideas around here.  A person can only go through so many paradigm shifts at a time.  There's just so much homework that I would like to do, but so little time.  Sometimes, with all of the confusion, my intuition fails me, and I am left confused.  You seem wise and have mentioned his book at one time.  my question is:  should this book be read and understood for the betterment of ourselves, or is it disinformation.  Is the mer-ka-ba medition really our defense against negative energy that we cannot see with our eyes, or is it a scam linking you directly to saturn worship? I read an excerpt from it saying something like the merkaba energy field is the science that the TPTB are using/or have the ability to utilize against us. is this true?  IF you have the time, I would be grateful for your brief summary of this book's worth.

Hi Keith,

a bit late this reply but you are asking the right questions. Let me say this about the merkaba meditation: I have done that and it did not felt good for me.In the beginning when one start it it feels quite comfortable but that is of the breath thing involved with the meditation. But later on (after a couple of months) things start to feel wrong.Mentally and physically.I got terrible headaches from it and a lot of my friends aswell.

But and now comes the but, for some people it will help.It helps precisely for the people who needs their innner saturn to be activated.

If your inner saturns is already activated then the meditation is of NO use, on the contrary it will do only harm.

So I advise you just try it and see what happens but my feeling say that you don't need it.

The problem with Drunvalo (is not his real name) is that he does know a bit about sacred geometry but on a poor basis. For instance the man never heard of the root transitions (root of 2,root of 3 and root of 5) and those are the basics of his own story! So what is going on?
Well Mr drunvalo got quite some money from some kind of rich guy from india to set up this whole drunvalo meditation thing.Sure it is to inform people but it is not going deep enough into the real matter of sacred geometry and eventually it is more of a spiritual business thing.

Keith just try to understand the sacred geometry stuff (go after the book of Robert Lawlor, drunvalogot most of his stuff from him).

Sacred geometry is the key for understanding the "structural" entities or Jinn as moslims call them.Mr icke call them reptilians but they are just plain jinn.In a way Mr Icke don't understand sacred geometry.
I have to admit for some it is hard stuff for other a piece of cake.

Hope this reply will be of any help for you,

dodeca

I am having trouble posting on this forum, but hopefully that problem clears up soon.  I have been reading various topics on this forum, and it is right up my alley, so to speak.   meaningful synchronicities are everyday.  anyway, great to finally post.

Re: Merkaba

I have a problem with both blindly and faithfully following excercises like a recipie

and

discarding them entirely out of hand based on vague, tenebrous innuendo.

Any real documentation of use and effect or actual theories on how this "structure" manages to be beneficial/venefic? At least to beef up anecdotal data...

ANY aura-building or circulation of energy excercises are a "structure". So are martial-arts. Houses, too. Not to mention language.  Transcending them may be cool, and indeed the wave of the future, but I need a roof for now...

Some of the paranoia around metaphysical excercises seems similar to a certain variety of christianity's aversion to works in favor of faith.

The tendency seems to be intimating that gnosis is not to be found. Period.  It's a cinch that material knowledge will not get you there alone, and the "Active Denial" obtained both by disseminating bad excercises and by discouraging the use of such things in general (the usual church-style win-win for TPTB) keeps the gates shut.

That said, I tried the "Merkabah" meditation a couple years back and got very little from it. Straight pranayama for the same period of time would have done fine, methinks. Then again maybe I wasn't doing it right. I'd like to find more anecdotes of use on it, so far I'm neither impressed nor frightened by it, I'm simply highly skeptical of it.

Re: Merkaba

I have been interested in Mercabah for sometime, long before I ever heard of Drunvalo. I read one of his books and it didn't do anything for me. Seemed like another guy who got in touch with higher beings and now knows everything... yeah right. Then how come he's wrong about so much stuff?

I think the principle of Mercabah is very interesting, and important for the future of humanity. The website linked to in the first post mentions 'wheels within wheels.' That sounds about right to me.

I think Mercabah is less of a a metaphysical visualization than it is a super-physical principal. It's like a 4d wheel. It uses four dimensions, but is active on the 3d. Like a normal wheel is three dimensions, but operates on a 2d plane (the ground). When people figure out how to use it we will transcend 3d gravity and literally have an actual 'flying machine', which is why god's chariot was depicted as having those funny wheels within wheels. I had a dream once when I saw  man on a flying bicycle, with simmilar wheels within wheels. It's 4d technology and humans are starting to see it.
