Here's a thought.....................
When you have a premonition, and then the event happens exactly as you forsaw, what does that say about the nature of the future?
It means it's already happened. It's not just a probability, it's actually "out there." For you to be able to see it means it already exists. I've had a few premonitions over the years, saw things that came to pass verbatim of what I saw in my mind. When I was 17 I stopped and thought about that, and what the implications were. I realized the future is already "out there"......... one version of it anyway. If you can forsee it, it's already happened. Now............you can decide to make different choices when faced with that fork in the road moment when your premonition is now happening in front of you. You can choose a different future. Which led to my other realization when I was in my early 20's: Parellel timelines. I had no knowledge of Quantum Physics at the time, but I figured out one basic concept of it which involves multiple probable timeline futures. For every choice you make, the choice you DIDN'T make has to still be out there. Say you have a premonition, you forsee an event, and when the event finally comes to pass and you choose to do something different and choose a different path, where does that "other version" of the future go?? For you to have seen it means it's already happened, right? It can't just.......disappear, right???
Parallel timelines!
Anyway, just some thoughts. I think the parallel timelines thing should be a whole thread in itself, so maybe I'll start a thread about it later, because it's interesting stuff. I've had personal experiences of glimpsing flashes from my other parallel realities. I really don't know how it all works, to be honest. I don't know if whether you choose one future over another if the other one still physically exists someplace else, which means there are literally, endless versions of ourselves out there, or whether that other future "collapses." I don't know how time travel can fit into that, but it would be cool to hear the input of anybody on the forum who does know and understand this stuff.
And about John Titor himself.............I'd read over his website several months ago from another messageboard forum, and my conclusion was that he's bunk. I think it was an experiment to see how people would react, see what they'd say, and also, to instill fear and other stuff into our mindsets.
However, he did make several good points regarding the state of our population during this time period, calling us "civically ignorant sheep", and that we turn a blind eye to the suffering of humanity around us, among other things. It may rub some people the wrong way, but he's right, whoever he is. Our general population is materialistic, "me me me!" oriented, asleep, brainwashed, and doesn't care about what's happening to this country, our society, or the world.
