a stubborn paranoid schizophrenic's LiveJournal

I've had this guy's livejournal in my favorites list for years now. It's fascinating and sad. He is a genuine paranoid schizophrenic who doesn't think he's the least bit crazy. If you check the comments to some of his posts, you'll see how thoroughly unreasonable he is. He is absolutely certain of his own correctness. He will not accept anything less than complete agreement with his delusions. He refuses to accept anyone's advice because he doesn't think he needs help except on his own terms. He is also scared, angry, and in a lot of pain. Not all of his problems are his fault, obviously. He has a severe mental illness for which he has been jailed and hospitalized. And he may actually be the target of mind control torture as he claims. But the way he's dealing with it is extremely unhealthy. Every word sent his way is wasted because he will not be humble and listen.

The reason I'm bringing this up is that sometimes here on NR and at other fringe message boards you'll find people like this. People who are completely sure that they have sole possession of The Truth. Their ego runs rampant and they want others to bow down before them. And when they don't get the response they think they deserve for dropping all their little tidbits of "wisdom", they condemn everyone else and storm off. Or they get banned for being disruptive. They're not all as crazy as this guy, but there's enough craziness in them to see similarities. Once you familiarize yourself with this kind of person, it is easy to spot their kind of thinking. I'm not condemning the mentally ill with this post, I'm just providing an illustration or model of the most severe kind of delusional pigheadedness so that you won't waste time arguing with or trying to assist those who display it here on the internet. Despite being insane, this guy is intelligent and even eloquent sometimes.

In addition to the LiveJournal, he has a DeadJournal, a homepage and a Yahoo group. Sadly, he may be incarcerated or deceased, because he hasn't posted anywhere since July of 2005.
