Introduction thread....

I agree Phlux, that's a good idea.  This worked over on the other forum, so why not do it again.

I'm a 29 year old female, currently living in Ft. Lauderdale.   I was raised in New England (CT and MA) and then my mom moved me and my brother to Southern California when I was 16.  (Orange County)   So I did 2 years of highschool in CT, 2 in SoCal.   What a contrast!  Good life experience though.

Since I was a kid I've been "different" and have had weird and unusual things happen to me.    I was a smart, serious "old soul" kid, really intuitive, and developed stronger psychic abilities at around age 13.   At age 9 I began getting into researching all the weird topics - aliens/abductions, ghosts/the paranormal, Egypt and ancient/lost civilizations, etc.   Went to the public library and got everything I could on those topics from the "grown up section".   Anybody else here have fond memories of pouring over those Time Life "Mysteries of the Unknown" books?     I loved those as a kid, and read as much as I could get my hands on.   Loved any and all movies about the weird and paranormal stuff as well.   I had a parents who were firm believers in that stuff and talked about it openly, so that helped.  This seems to be the "script" though for many out there I've learned, probably many who are members to this forum.   "The Starseeds", the "Indigo Children" and all the other labels they have tried to come up with. 

I began writing at age 10, and that has always been a big important part of who I am.   I used to write fiction, but now I focus on writing non-fiction speculative articles on subjects concerning metaphysics and conspiracy.   I always knew I wanted to be a writer, and started proclaiming it at age 10 - I knew that was the reason I was here.   Something I'm supposed to do.   I just never realized it would wind up being in this format - writing about these subjects, for the internet.   The internet didn't even exist when I was a kid, so I always thought I'd write traditional books.   I now consider the internet to be a much better tool though then traditional books could ever be, if your goal is simply to get information out there to as many people as possible for the maximum amount of impact.  So yeah, this isn't what I could have imagined as a kid, but you never know where life is going to take you. 

I haven't chosen the path that "the program" conditions us all to choose.   It's been a long and weird and unusual and crazy and interesting road.   Was out on my own before graduating highschool.   I've lived in Connecticut, Massachusetts, California, Oregon and now South Florida, the last three all within 2 1/2 years.  !    Did a brief stint years back bouncing around in repossessed houses with roommates, before we all went "legit".  To me it was just a fun adventure and I was too young to have understood the seriousness of it all, which is exactly why I could enjoy myself!     Traveled around on roadtrips, met a slew of interesting and unusual characters over the years who always seemed to be convenienantly inserted into the works just when needed.   Lived with crazy roomates, bounced around at tons of jobs, trying out different professions - Hotels, waitressing, cocktailing, office work - oftentimes having multiple jobs at the same time.    In the middle of it all I wrote wrote wrote as much as I could, snapped tons of photos, and just plowed ahead, with no direction, making it all up as I went along.  I'm still doing that.  Probably why I have a lot of dreams involving maps, and map-related symbolisms. 

And the phrase from "The Truman Show" comes to mind......How Will It End?
