Risen, no need for forgiveness, healthy skepticism is a good thing. I do approach meting out odd synchronicities like this methodically, especially before taking a step like posting about it on NR, and especially on the Physics and Alternative Science forum where I feel out of my league posting. Normally, I would've taken longer than the 2 hrs. I took thinking about this, but the elements are so few, and also because it's more science based than experiential based (like I'm used to) I just simply didn't know what to think.
To answer your question though, among a number of other possibilities, I did consider what you're proposing. After reading your post I went ahead and Internet searched about recent tornado activity in Arkansas. I checked out a few different pages, but no recent tornado reports in Ark. were found.
montalk wrote:The word "arc" is important here... Ark of the Covenant, Noah's Ark, electric arc, arc = part of circle, archetype, arkto=bear, arcanum=secret knowledge, arch of doorway or bridge, archaic = very old, Arcadia... Via a process of loose association, I think this basic sound "ark" has something to do with the following: fourth density, portal between space/time/dimension, hibernation/resurrection of certain group souls, neutral center / neutral stasis / nullpoint, time capsule, etc... basically some passageway between realms, i.e. wormhole or conduit.
The vortex / tornado is probably one of the best symbols for this. Compare with the cornucopia which is a vortex-like shape representing the Horn of Plenty from which foodstuffs materialize without limit - a mythological association between "vortex" and "portal". Check out the book "Hamlet's Mill" for more on that vortex/portal mythology. And it was a tornado that carried Dorothy to Oz...
There's that Dorothy girl again...
But, yeah, I've experienced an increase in lucid dreamwalking (seemingly transdimensional events) for the past few months, but most noticeably since the end of December. By an increase I mean more than in the years coming before this time period. For having practiced a healthy dose of inquiry (sub- and objectively) into the ins and outs of this particular synch/event, as best as I could, and the recent events I've experienced, a portal is a viable consideration. The only difference between this and the others is that I remembered those dreamwalks in remarkable detail, but not this one. If I try any harder to remember I'd just be conjuring something up, and this of course would be unacceptable. I can only remember the two cylinders with some kind of objects therein, although there was some comparing of the two, or something like that. ....Arrgghh! I guess I've just got to let go of it, about not remembering all the particulars, and know that if it's something I'm supposed to eventually be conscious of, then it'll get around to me.
During one of these dreamwalks I mention there was an unmistakable symbol of a portal. I'm only going to relate the one part of the dreamwalk that applies to portals, because the whole experience is long and involved, and mostly personal.
At one point in the dreamwalk I had left an area where I'd had an interaction with a non-earther female. Right after this interaction took place I was standing on a pathway and a pack of lynxes went running through the area past us. There had been a "white shirt" man I had taken notice of during the interaction, though he wasn't an intrinsic part of the interaction. During that part he seemed to be waiting and observing, even guarding, and never said a word. I call him a "white shirt" (a term I've never used before, as I've never had reason to before) because the dreamwalk took place pre-dawn and in dimly lit conditions and he stood out in the dimness because his white T-shirt was standing out just like a white T-shirt will stand out under UV lighting (he's the only one whose clothing was like this).
It was after the lynxes charged through that he then approached me, took my arm and said, "It's time to go now." We proceeded to walk down the pathway in the same direction as the lynxes, and came to a gate. The gate was like a field gate you'd find on fence separating pastures, but it was attached to, or housed in, what looked exactly like a metal detector "doorway" you'd find in an airport or courthouse. I passed through the gate, and the man didn't. It's not a stretch, at least for me, to consider that this man was as a guide.
I've discussed the entire event with a few people, and I'm pretty sure every single one of them commented right off the bat about the gate being a dimensional portal. The gate, and him staying and me leaving, was one of the first things I thought of after waking...and there was a lot to think about. As unlikely as it may seem to skeptics--given all the particulars of the interaction, and some altered conditions of my physical and auric bodies for a few days following this event, it's not a stretch to believe some part of me was passing from one dimensional space to another through an energy portal.
But, heehee, what makes this even more interesting for me was looking up the lynx as an animal spirit guide. What I found made me just sit back in my chair and chuckle. One of the notations pertaining to the animal spirit of the lynx is "movement through time and space" (also included were--keeness of sight, divination, developing psychic senses, and, keeper of all secrets and mysteries). I'll tell ya, the ways in which these things work out, the "clues" given, never fail to amaze me
.
Yet, even given that "tornado arc" may be the symbolism of a portal passing, I'm still thinking about scalar tech having something to do with this, especially after a conversation I had with a friend Sat. morning, and also that earlier this week on Tues. and Wed. I experienced all the hallmarking symptoms of a HAARP type of activation (e.g. headachy, nausea, vertigo-ish). In passing, during the conversation, my friend said that one of her friends (someone she says would know) had told her that HAARP had been activated last week. It's hard for me to tell though because I've also had this hellish flu that's going around (I hadn't been that sick for years, and ugh-ugh,
it's just awful), so those symptoms could have been due to the flu. The only thing is I was actually at the tail end of the flu at that time, and it seems unlikely to have those symptoms so late in the game.
Whether I was intuiting about some scalar tech interference like HAARP, or this was part of an ongoing learning process, it's been relief to my curiosity, and educational, to read what you and Lee have posted. Even though I've not had an innate ability to tap into much of an understanding about complicated science material, it is still fascinating.
I wonder though, montalk (or whoever knows how to find out), if you've the time could you check your links about HAARP that you've noted before, and see if there was an activation during last week? It would be good for me to know for sure.

I'm sorry, Lee, <giggles> I had to...=) . Actually, my first thought was, "DUDE! Whaddaya tryin' to start an intergalactic squirmish!" LOL!
And thanks for posting that last link you've posted, it's got something on there about gyrons and gyroscopes, although the "Gyroscopic Planes..." sub-area isn't linked like the other sub-areas are (bummer). Gyroscopes are quantum-critters that have intrigued me for almost two years now, and I don't know why...but what I saw about gyrons was enough to peak my interest with regard to something else that's interrelated to what I've talked about in this post. In particular, it reminds me about a sun I saw in the dreamwalk I wrote of...one that did not look too much like nor act like our own sun. The link has given me a new perspective on approaching meting out about the sun I saw. Thanks! I had even been meandering about the Internet looking for information about this sun for more than a week now, so lucky me that you've posted the link!
