Topic: Spiritual Attack

Whew, thanksgiving day I was confronted two people who I thought were my friends.  I was over at a friend's house after dinner and was about to leave.  Everyone else had left except me and the other two.
They suddenly approached me and said they thought there was something deep going on in my life.  One kept asking me if my family had a history with drugs and then after I said no three times to the question they said I had a demon attached to my back.  Immediatly after they said that my back and my stomach began to hurt.  It was almost like they started emitting radiation, because they felt like an unnatural fire was around them.  It hurt me really bad.  Everything they seemed to say about demons seemed feel like it was happening.  When I asked them about the burning, they said it was the "holy spirit" and that god was trying to get me to come back to him.  (I knew they were not acting on the real god's part because he wouldn't use fear or pain to get me to obey him, and since when did I leave?)  They kept wanting to put their hands on me, saying they were "holy medics" that were going to fix me.
Man, I ran my ass out my friends house and far away from there.  My skin was crawling so bad and I nearly threw up.  I hid in my car over night until I felt better.  It didn't end there, the day after I nearly had a heart attack feeling the same way I did before plus an urge to go to the nearest church and be prayed over.  I endured and refused any action.
Anyone have any thoughts that could help me out here if I happen to encounter freaks like them again?

Re: Spiritual Attack

Wow that's crazy. It sounds like an impromptu psychosomatic sympathetic reaction that was cued by their suggestion and aggression towards you.

These sound like the kind of people you'd find at those born-again Christian shows where a preacher "cures" people of their demons.

My only advice is, should this happen again, to stay focused and in the moment. Take control over your entire being and refuse for any negative energies or entities to be projected onto you by others.

Re: Spiritual Attack

A while ago I was in a pub talking with a friend about ufo's, aliens and their possible role in the nwo and what have you... when a young man sat down with us as he thought we were having an interesting conversation and he was looking for some company.

As he related a christian background when commenting on the subject I framed the ufo and alien thing in a demonic/biblical context.

Similar to your story he told me how his girlfriend got into a pentacostal church where they spoke in tongues... and one day when his girlfriend asked him he went along.
At the service two "gifted" people commented on that they saw satans influence in him and asked if he prayed and such. They wanted to help him by laying hands on him. As soon as they did that a very negative feeling came upon him and he fled. Later on his aunt, who was sensitive into these matters, commented that some pentacostal groups are posessed themselves and that it was smart to run away.

I don't know the person and I don't know the context, I also don't know you.

I know of the burning of the holy spirit, although it hurts, it's a sweet pain, it's a very voluntarily thing one consciously chooses. I think it can be good to pray, and to pray together, and to enter into religious practice with people you trust - but it's best that you have your own conversation with God so to speak before letting others into that holy circle.

So an advice would be avoidance of these scenario's and working on yourself... gnothi seauton and trust in god.

Re: Spiritual Attack

Dear 3,7,127
kind regards
What happened to you seems to be outside of my scope of knowledge.
I think that the incident you suffered was probably some kind of spiritual attack.
Jesus Christ and his disciples didn't act in that manner when they walked the Earth in physical forms.
Christianity as a religion gets criticised sometimes rightly(institionalised religion) and in other cases wrongly.
Christianity is a genuine religion and for the good of mankind and a Church may have been the nearest place of help for you-again finding the right church is like finding the right person, right place to live etc.
It can be done but it might take either luck or perception of seeking.
Jesus Christ was a righteous man-the greatest man of all time.
I think that genuine Christians certainly exist and you can find them if you know where to look and some of them have a genuine concern and empathy for society.
I have enclosed a link for you about Demons and demon attacks.

It is a website by a Christian minister called Stan Madrak and he has written dozens of articles about demons and replies to email enquiries.

Exactly what I said.....Are you for real?   Sometimes it's hard to tell if someone is being serious or not.

Re: Spiritual Attack

Anyone who will try and tell you that something is wrong and that u need to fix it, or that they will fix you (in this arena of spirituality) should be cautiously considered.

true spirituality should be from within yourself, and obviously if you DID NOT feel any burning or hurt before these wierdos told you that you had a demon, then it is clear that they suggested this idea into your mind which manifested itself then, and ONLY THEN.

dont believe what they said.

Re: Spiritual Attack

Thanks for the info guys.  I haven't stopped talking to god when I need help.  I asked for his help when I began to feel like I was having a heart attack and then I began to feel better.  I've had doubts, but I never stopped believing in god.

Moralman,
Just a question for you.  You say Jesus was a man.  Do you believe that Jesus just a man or also the son of god?

"gnothi seauton"= know thyself in Greek
I had to look up that one.  smile

Yes, lyra I am telling you the truth, but with some information left out.  I have of habit of posting a discussion when I have a problem and I need the opinion of other people to help me.

Actually, I wanted to comment on these quotes because I found this verrrry interesting.....see, last year I was involved in this end times / conspiracy / prophesies messageboard forum that happened to have a Catholic bent to it.  Now, I'm not Catholic, but a good chunk of the regular posters were, so there was heavy duty "Catholic mentality" going on, which includes paranoia, fear, superstition, hate/intolerance, and much "occultic" references.  Usually trying to slam the occult, or accusing people of being a witch.  wink  At any rate, many of us long time regular posters began experiencing............paranormal activity you could say.  Often time simultaneous paranormal occurances, even though we were scattered all around the country.  It got a little freaky.  One of the things that happened to me one night while I was embroiled in some negative stuff on that board was some sort of "heart attack" type thing.  I don't even KNOW what the hell this was, I've never experienced ANYTHING like this before.  I thought I was going to die.   I was standing in our kitchen, just going about my business, and next thing I know something..............I don't know how to even explain it, something "clamped down" on me.  I doubled over, feeling the craziest sensation, I can't even describe it.  The thought that went through my mind was "I'm going to die right now...." and I felt very calm about it too.  Like, Oh well.     So this is it, huh?     Montalk/Tom was on the other side of the room and I couldn't even say anything to him, I was "clamped down" or whatever it was, having the life squeezed out of me.   THAT'S a good way of describing it actually.  The life squeezed out of me.

It didn't last long though and suddenly broke, and then I fled to the bathroom where I sat on the toilet seat lid for a good 10 minutes or so, trying to catch my breath, my nerves suddenly standing on end, trying to recuperate from this.  I knew I'd just experienced some sort of an attack, but by who, and HOW, was beyond me.

Your comments though about the "heart attack" feeling stand out though.  Don't know if yours was anything like mine, or if it was different.   The one thing we both have in common for both incidents was that we had Christian / Catholic religious zealots in our lives at the time it happened focusing intense energy on us.  VERY interesting indeed..........

I believe that Jesus Christ in the highest sense of the word was both a man and the son of God almighty.
I think that Jesus Christ really is the way the bible depicts him.
In my mind Jesus Christ is the most righteous soul to ever live, he was compassionate and cared for humanity.
Jesus Christ is Superman..........he is the example that we should all follow.
He was the King yet he acted like a servant.
I think that Jesus Christ came to this planet and was chosen by God to show us how we should and could be.
Jesus acted and was devine and humanity should follow his example.
I really believe that the end of the age(predicted to be in the year 2012) and the ushering in of a new reality will be for the Souls who have strived to be like Jesus Christ or have lived to a standard of Christian and moral decency.
"Thy kingdom come thy will shall be done on Earth as it is in heaven".
Jesus Christ is the greatest man, soul and spirit.
He is going to create a New reality for the World and I for one cannot wait.

Re: Spiritual Attack

3,7,127 and Lyra,

I would like to apologize in place of the people you encountered.

I do not think Jesus would approve of how they handled this. Much like I have learned here about freewill...I do not think that Jesus would violate this. All the "healings" and "casting out of demons" were initiated by the individual our the parents responsible for them. The other option was when the "demon" made itself known. Neither of your encounters were like these.

I would say what you experienced was them trying to impose their will on you in a misguided, ignorant yet "well meaning" way (from their perspective).

It is this ignorance that lead me to seek other teaching. They got the horse before the cart. They wanted to dance with the Holy Spirit yet wanted to lead, so they wound up dancing alone.

I would be cautious about hanging with them anymore...they could become more adamant and forceful or cutting and sarcastic. If you do decide to talk with them, point out like I said, where did the healings start.

Also have them read on the Holy Spirit. One of the "characteristics of the Holy Spirit is a deep abiding peace" not painful burning and definitely not fear.

Just some thoughts.

Peace,
Teddy

Re: Spiritual Attack

It seems to me the lesson here is that negative (demonic?) entitities:

1) control peoples' minds.  Especially vulnerable are the sheeplike follower-types who are willing to believe anything someone else (like their Church) tells them.

2) are able to detect people like yourself who may be more "in-tune," or freethinking, or having some true connection to the Spirit.  They will then, using their cover of "religious people," claim they can see that you have "Satanic influences."

3) use "laying on of hands" energy manipulation for negative purposes.

Most of us probably guessed #1 ... when you listen to these programmed people, it's frightening and some of them truly do seem to be possessed.  #2 here I think is an important point though .. THEY KNOW WHO YOU ARE in a fundamental spiritual way and can target you without you necessarily being aware of it.

Re: Spiritual Attack

3,7,127,

I know the question was for moralman, but I would like to answer as well.

I think Jesus was more human than any of us in that he lived as God (one consciousness, whatever) intended. By living as God intended he also become the Christ and was God manifest.

Out of curiosity, with the mention of the "Christ consciousness" on this site how many people have read the bible or after doing all the reading of The Ra material and the cassiopaeans etc, have gone back to read the bible and being able to read it in a different or with greater insight?

Peace,
Teddy
