Topic: The Return of Quetzalcoatl

I've mentioned the book "Breaking Open The Head" by Daniel Pinchbeck a few times in this forum. It's about psychedelics and contemporary shamanism and is a book I highly recommend.

I also read, although seldom ever participate in his online forum. Anyway I thought one of Daniel's latest postings might interest a few people here. Daniel is currently trying to finish his latest book which is about the whole 2012 shift and what it might mean, although it sounds like he's struggling to complete it to his satisfaction. I really hope he manages to finish it soon because he is a very intelligent writer and I'm extremely interested to find out his take on 2012.

Anyway his latest forum post is about a transmission he recieved during and after an Ayahuasca experience a year ago.

Re: The Return of Quetzalcoatl

Well, no offense, but I don't see anything really new or enlightening on that "transmission". A rather awkward mix of existing ideas...

Re: The Return of Quetzalcoatl

I found Quetzalcoatl = The Beast 666 agreeable.
There are a lot of ideas about 2012, some of them bunk, most of them copycats, and some of them perhaps inspired.
Like the transmission hints at it's in part a self-fullfilling prophecy. So nothing will happen, but the change will happen through us.. or it won't.
"My "doctrine" is not transcendent, but immanent. It is not "somewhere out there." It is here and now."

"What are those shadows that crowd around you? They are the unintegrated aspects of your own psyche, projected into material form."
It sems Quetzalcoatl understands the nature of the MCS.

Others have said this before in better ways. Also I do not see how this necessarily imply existence of the Matrix, "Bringers of the Dawn" speaks of the same thing in a love&light manner.

OK well to be honest: while I never used Ayahuasca, this text reminded me of the kind of things I wrote after having smoked marijuana. Putting lots of abstract ideas mishmashed together and feeling like I had found The Key. When I read such texts the day after, I often found them filled with very subtle disinformation, as if I had been influenced by negative entities while in this rather vulnerable state. I stopped smoking for good when I realized this.

Now I'm not saying that all those writing about/on drugs are necessarily spreading disinformation but I would be very cautious, no matter how fantastic what is being said. It seems there is a whole crowd of people who are justifying their drug dependencies with words like "cosmic experiences" without ever being able to actually do something with these words/experiences. Balance is the primary goal. We are here on this planet to manifest something and forcing ourselves to go too high can result in completely losing our connection with our soul, which is what the MCS actually wants the most.

Anyway that's my feeling on this subject, but I would like to hear what others have to say about this.

Q showed a certain grasp of what I perceive to be the matrix. Perhaps to love and light, perhaps disinformation, but I recognized some of my own ponderings concerning the matter and liked reading the transmission in general although I can see your pov.

Yes, I thought of Icarus, flying to high.

"Without Christ in the center providing the necessary balance, we would be in a dilemma, having to choose between the spiritual inflation of Lucifer and the spiritual deflation of Ahriman. Without Christ's balancing influence, we are led either to the airy folly of Icarus (ancient metaphor) or the computerized soul-less zombies of Dennett (modern metaphor)."

This luciferian side of entheogens in the antroposophical sense is a risk for sure, but I think the risk lies not so much in the moderate use of entheogens themselves (ayahuasca doesn't seem to be addictive) but in the clarity of the mind that is infused by them.

I'll try and write a longer answer when I get a bit more time to get my thoughts together. But the short answer is that I don't really believe anything will happen in 2012, at least not at a specific time, on a specific date.

However I do think we're going to see some enormous changes happening to this world over the next 5-10 years. Changes that I eventually see being for the better, although I think we're probably going to take a long trip through hell before we finally reach heaven.

Here's a short interview between R.U Sirius and Daniel Pinchbeck. Worth reading.
