Re: My first mall trip since being awakened...

I can understand what Will means saying "totally different experience". It really is. But I agree with Craig on not to make assumptions. Ego is powerful. It can deceive a lot. On the other hand, I agree with Neomatrix on awakening "merely means that they have seen the MCS for exactly what it is". Finally ermolai is exactly right on pointing to ego-pleasure dangers. Whoa! I'm like Molla Nasruddin** again!  smile

However, I now know why I used to be depressed all the time, and you guys on the Noble Realms have helped me immensely. Thank you.

I suppose, like Christine says, you need to provide your relative definition of what constitutes 'awakened'. Although, you will find this hard to describe because the feeling or awareness 'frequency' in you, is entirely subjective.

What is 'awakened' to you, may be sleep to me.

A few quotes from Ouspensky's, In Search of the Miraculous may be applicable here:

"...a person accustomed to self-observation knows for certain that at different periods of his life he has understood one and the same idea, one and the same thought, in totally different ways. It often seems strange to him that he could have understood so wrongly, that which, in his opinion, he now understands rightly. And he realises, at the same time, that his knowledge has not changed [...] his being has changed".

"People imagine that they often, if not always, understand one another, or that they can, at any rate, understand one another if they try or want to. [...] As a matter of fact, no one understands anyone else. Two men can say the same thing with profound conviction but call it by different names."

Here, apply the word 'awakened' and consider two totally different interpretations. The rest falls into place.

For me, and I'm assuming for a lot of people also, the word 'awakened' implies completion and/or coming out of sleep. It's a result. A different state from what was. When we consider our organic machine, we need to take into account that there are vast multi-layered elements of our psychology, including wishful thinking and ego-driven assumptions.

We see what we want to see. When you supposedly 'see' the Matrix because you get these 'glimpses' of reality (which IMO is a more accurate description), how do you know they are objective?

Using Christine's interpretation of two of my posts, she applied a negative agenda when there was none there, OSIT. It wouldn't surprise me if this was due to her association of 'arrogant' CassChat and me; automatically, rendering my post arrogant and condescending. Like I said, we see what we want to see.

I'm not denying that the Matrix Control System does not exist, because there is some evidence that seems to fit in with what is only a hypothesis and will only be a hypothesis until we prove that hyperdimensional beings have and continue to interfere with our lives.

But I don't think that going out to the mall, or wherever and keeping this hypothesis in mind, means that we are "awakened". I could go out right now and convince myself that people are actually walking HB pencils, but what I'm seeing is just an illusion. Although I cannot prove this, it does seem unlikely. But I'd be seeing what I want to see.

I suppose the analogy - knowledge protects comes in here. Having "knowledge" about a possible MCS can offer some protection from vectors of attack. We can then work to head these off to prevent energy taking. But like I've said, using the term 'awakened' is probably incorrect in the sense of esotericism, which is fundamentally what this all is.

All I'm saying, is be warned of self-calming/importance because these are programs of the predator's mind.

Jeez - all of this because of a semantical difference!

Craig you sure love to debate and the above is a typical example. Just to remind you of the dictionary difference Craig, here is 'the word' from the Cass chat home page: there is common sense in making this distinction as it can avoid circular energy draining discussions. This is not a game eh?

At risk of stating the obvious, if you wish to swim in semantics and play at intellectual gymanstics, you may be prepping yourself to find others who enjoy the same sort of work out.

An ability to observe and absorb another's process of expressing themselves is important. That is part of external consideration in my opinion. You seem to be dissecting an individual who is stating that they are in the process of awakening, and you use intellectual double speak to keep the never ending cycle of intellectual world salad stirring. Awakening is a process, not an event, even though you may have assumed that from will1129's post. Perhaps all I say is also just based on an incorrect assumption, but it is interesting  to me that I assume the best of the poster, and you assume the worst, hence your need to lecture will1129 about the "right path". No one asked you to do that. Remember, change is a process, not an event.

I too think you 'sound' like or could be Blackbox/Amir. ie high static noise to signal ratio.

I don't see why you're being 'iffy' with me. Although, the "im not a female" starting comment was probably due to male pride. The below comment can imply no awareness of the concept of humans being machines or like you said, an inquiry into the poster's views.

"do you think we are "machines" in a sense as well ?"

What was it that offended you? I'd say it was self-importance kicking in. "How dare he assume that *I* know not of the concept of human machinary!"

As for 'shooting down' the original poster - no. I saw blatent manipulation; I then saw it again, when he said, "believe me...", "trust me". These are imperatives and command a certain perspective that is fitting with his agenda, based on subjective interpretations of his situation.

If I see a subjective view, then I'm inclined not to encourage it. Why would I? Again - tomato, tomarto.

This is not casschat. It's NobleRealms. You used this to manipulate. You assume that I must feel some sort of patriotic dedication to the rules of casschat, and by apparently breaking these (debating rather than discussing), I've failed.

An ability to observe and absorb another's process of expressing themselves is important. That is part of external consideration in my opinion. This is incorrect. He never said that he was 'awakening' he said 'since being awakened'. Look at the thread title.

Awakening is a process, not an event, even though you may have assumed that from will1129's post. This is the crux of the matter - 'awakening' is different than 'awakened'; each are also relative, because we have nothing to measure them by, OSIT.

I too think you 'sound' like or could be Blackbox/Amir. ie high static noise to signal ratio.

A simple IP check will reveal that I'm not Amir. Your above assumptions and complete lack of awareness into the different between adding the 'ing' inflection have also contributed to the noise.

I too notice some sort of geometrical 'symmetry'. I possibly stepped on a few ants today, funny that, with civilians being killed in Fallujah and all.

Indeed it is a process, not an event, and why the need for empirical measurement?. You assume the worst - ie that the poster is fixed in their thinking that they are fully awakened, as opposed to the joy one feels when one sees something or things clearer for the first time and builds on that knowing. Awakening is a process. Thus being 'awake' is an integral part of the awakening. You seek to separate the two, hence the polarity aspect I allude to in your debating  method of communication. You seem to be assigning degrees of worthiness to the word awake. A matter of semantics; form rather than essence.

And your assumption about the lack of 'ing' in the word awake has you in a spiral of semantic soup. Why not just seek clarification from  the poster instead of assuming that they think that they are 'fully' awake, whatever that may mean?. Do you have any "proof" of this ie information?. You may not be Amir, but the noise to signal  ratio is similar based on my experience of him both here and on Casschat. You are so similar, it is not surprising that some may think you are the same person. Today is the new moon, judgments are off, emotions are high, and the last thing we need is this.

We are not going to degenerate into the paranoia and self-importance seen at other forums where people are quick to jump on newbies as being the "agent de jour" in disguise.

Even if someone uses a new name and switches or disguises their IP number, they are still forced to play along and be friendly in order to stay incognito. The moment their true intentions surface, they reveal themselves and their game is up. So they are damned no matter what they do. Generally they play along for a short while to build rapport, but sooner or later they 'pop' and there goes the weasel.

There are some points I agree with, but again, how can I be blamed for this so called assumption when the poster himself said that he had 'awakened'? I don't really understand when you say: "...being awake is an integral part of the awakening". This is a paradox, is it not?

And your assumption about the lack of 'ing' in the word awake has you in a spiral of semantic soup. Why not just seek clarification from the poster instead of assuming that they think that they are 'fully' awake, whatever that may mean?

Clarification for what they define as 'awake'? The poster makes this obvious. He thinks that being awake is a "feeling" of uneasiness. Or do you mean, clarification of whether they thing they are awake or not? This is also indicated within the post:

"I have been awakened very recently"
"...since my awakening"
"...just how lucky I am to have had woken up."

Then - he DID clarify:

"No, believe me, I have been awakened. It is apparent everywhere I go nowadays. I guess you don't really konw unless you are me, but just trust that I have been awakened. Now I don't consider this the end-all. I'm still striving for a greater understanding of the world. However, I now know why I used to be depressed all the time, and you guys on the Noble Realms have helped me immensely. Thank you."

"No, believe me, I have been awakened" - Why should I believe him?
"...but just trust that I have been awakened" - Why trust him?

Although, he does say that he doesn't consider it the "end". But he does not specifically say that he is referring to being 'awake'.

Do you have any "proof" of this ie information?. You may not be Amir, but the noise to signal ratio is similar based on my experience of him both here and on Casschat. I'm not sure that I agree with the 'signal ratio' comment. For some reason, this thread seems to have a fishy air to it; both from the initial post and the unusual response. In fact, I think that Will brought a lot of noise onto here; there is too much subjectivity in there from what I can see.

Zonabi's response was particularly interesting, where he commented that I was 'discouraging' the poster. I think I was encouraging him to analyse what to me were obvious indicators of some sort of self-importance; relative/subjective etc.

Am I wrong in thinking that encouraging somebody's illusions is STS in nature? If we are working towards becoming STO beings, don't we give the lie what it asks for - truth?

IMO - Will was manipulating the group, particularly in his 'clarification' post; whereby there are obvious imperatives/commands to believe in his subjective impression.

Also as an interesting side-note, today has been jam-packed with attacks towards me - the most I've ever had. Considering the possibility that my comments are just not valid, it wouldn't surprise me if my posts have been affected by this massive energy drain. I'm sitting here now with a banging headache, probably from the stresses of today. I'll calm down for a while, and see whether any views of my own posts change in the next few hours/days.

Food for thought.

Re: My first mall trip since being awakened...

Hi Craig,

Sorry you've gotten off on the wrong foot around here, I personally hope you stick around.  I don't find your posts "noise".   Fiesty?  Yes.  Noise?  No.  big_smile    Like Montalk said, we realize you're not Amir/BlackBox.   Different IP, different speech style and vibe. Seems some people weren't accute enough to pick up on the spelling variations that can only be found in "British speak."  (my comments go for the other thread as well, called "Forums Open on Cassiopaea", where there were also some issues popping up.)    For the record, Blackbox/Amir is from Toronto Canada, people.   Not England.    I'd hate to see a newbie chased off due to unwarranted and false claims that they are "someone else in disguise."  Noble Realms isn't supposed to have that negative witch hunt mentality.   So for those here who like to engage in this, and who have already been doing this, how about taking a moment to reflect on bad habits picked up from other forums......?  And like Montalk pointed out, take into consideration that it's a New Moon.   Look at how your buttons are being pushed.   Question all motives for posting and all emotional reactions during these times of the month.

Craig,

If you really are genuine then I agree with Lyra, I'm sorry you've gotten off on the wrong foot around here. However, just like Christine did, I found most of your early posts to be extremely patronising.

Nobody here has to pass any 'tests' to be accepted by the people of Noble Realms. We're a very friendly bunch of people who are keen to learn from one another regardless of our current level of knowledge or background.

However, I doubt any of us here take too kindly to a complete stranger turning up out of the blue telling us whether we are 'awakened' or not. If you really do want to be a part of Noble Realms then I suggest you get to know people a little bit better before you start patronising them!

Craig you keep talking about people thinking of themselves as Self Important or full of Pride - so i think that best represents YOU.

me saying im not a female doesnt have anything to do with male-pride, its a correction to something you said incorrectly, you assumed for some reason i was a female. nothing big, as ive done it before and it happens countless times on the internet.

Re: My first mall trip since being awakened...

I don't know what you want me to say Craig, except for maybe that I'm a newbie and I don't know what I'm talking about and people shouldn't trust what I say yet. Obviously you don't. I realize what the matrix control system is and I have learned other things from montalk and various sources which would lead me to consider myself awake. Now once again I don't consider this the end-all, as I am still dealing with numerous problems, but just knowing this information is valuable for my quest of spiritual advancement. Perhaps instead of focusing on telling me that I'm awake yet, you could accept that I know what I'm talking about and give advice on how I can achieve full awakenness.

Re: My first mall trip since being awakened...

Craig doesn't even post here anymore.  Guess everybody missed his post where he said he was leaving.  People keep posting stuff to him as if he's still around responding.
