Topic: Haha I think my roommate is a Matrix Control System Agent...

I say: "When I'm done with college I'm gonna be doing a job I really like."
He says: "No your not, you gonna be some clog is a corporate machine."
I say:"No, actually I really believe I will be doing something I enjoy"
He says:"It's called reality. Your gonna be stuck at some deadend job for the rest of your life and unhappy."



I think this highlights the "You create your own reality" theory perfectly. Maybe I'm too young or niave, but every time I hear someone say, "It never gets better" or "Life sucks for some people and good for others" I've always said "Screw that, I'm not gonna cop-out to that ****." Only after reading some of the montalk articles did I know what was actually at work.

I guess it's the old idea that if you tell yourself something enough, you'll believe it, but nobody considers that you might actually have the power to manifest that belief.

Get him some Don Miguel Ruiz books for Christmas smile !!!!!!!

The one on the 4 agreements, or  "The Voice of Knowledge".  Just finished reading the latter one and I can say it made MANY things crystal clear.  After those maybe some books by Jamie Sams too.  Kinda on the same note, but more detail as to our develomental stages regarding our spiritual journies-compliments many of the topics we discuss here on NR.
