Topic: An idea for a new site

There's been a lot of discussion here in various threads about how we can try and get through to the general population and attempt to wake them up. How do we get them to see that the world is not what they think it is?

Well I've come across a possible answer - a website that an internet friend of mine just sent me. Now this guy is not aware of any of the matrix stuff that we're aware of, but I've convinced him that 9/11 was an inside job.

Anyway he sent me this link (which somebody else had sent him) yesterday http://www.naturalperson.com and asked me for my opinion, because he'd been reading it and found it interesting and knew that I was into a lot of conspiracy stuff.

Anyway I'll let you all explore the site (I'm still reading through most of it myself). Personally I think it's quite well done, although I hate the graphics and design of it.

Basically it has three sections - introductory, intermediate and advanced. It's a canadian site and mainly aimed at canadians. It starts off with a lot of interesting information about canadian tax laws, then gets into who controls the money etc. and finally gets into the whole matrix control system, although not to the same level that Montalk does.

It's made me think that maybe we should develop a kind of Montalk Lite. Montalk is a great site but it's only really accessible to people who have already swallowed the red pill. Perhaps we should develop a site that has many different levels to it. Starting off with basic information that even the general public can understand and relate to, and then slowly lead people step by step to the advanced information that is currently on Montalk.

Good idea or not?

Re: An idea for a new site

Sounds like a good idea to me...a kind of mainstream buffer zone to help people even get to the point of wanting to swallow the Red...it'd have to be a real labor of love, and it might bore you if you didn't find a way to make it fun.

On the other hand, it's usually desperate straights that get people to really swallow it. Morpheus appears in the nick of time.

Re: An idea for a new site

Hmmmn, how about the Institute of Unlearning website? Wouldn't that be kind of like a Montalk Lite?

Sure, but for Americans at least, you need flash and humour, in the same way that the comix of "Bob" lead to the deeper stuff. It should be light, but not lacking in hip.

Re: An idea for a new site

The three-level structure is a good idea, I once considered doing that with my own site but never got around to it.

At the moment Cameron and I are setting up the new Noble Realms site, which besides this forum will also have a wiki (web-encyclopedia) for y'all to help out with. I figure the wiki would serve well to collect, organize, and format forum material on specific topics so that anyone coming to the site can read up on one subject at a time. The wiki also allows for posting of articles and links. So I think that's an intermediate step between what we have now and a super-organized structure like the site you posted, Ayahuasca. Yeah, the possibilities are wide open - this is only the beginning.

As for spreading the word, I've found that simply making the "word" available allows the right people to find the right info at the right time. In other words, synchronicity is a good form of advertisement, and our setting up the mechanics by making something accessible is the only challenging part. I'm reminded of that baseball movie where the message was "If you build it, they will come."

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

Re: An idea for a new site

Actually, what I'd really love to see is a site designed for the other end of the spectrum. Kind of like trufax.org's Matrix V site but without the huge disinformation quotient.

Re: An idea for a new site

Hi y'all,

It seems we have similar but sperate discussions going on here, please check out:

http://montalk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=8503#8503

If you don't mind, I'd like to continue the discussion from that thread over here as in a lot of ways we are talking about the same thing.

I like the idea of a multi level structure and definietely see the need for it.

As an example, I attended one of David Icke's lectures and though I enjoyed it and found it informative and convincing, I came away thinking about how it could have been more effective than it was, especially to a relative newcomer to the material.

The first part of the program consisted of material dealing mainly with political stuff, the power structure of the illuminati, etc. and offered a lot of evidence and 'real' world examples. In itself, it was very educational and effective though personally I was already familliar with a lot of it.

The second part was where he got into multi dimensions, reptillians, nature of reality, etc. Personally, this is the part I enjoyed the most and found the most thought provoking at the time.

Later as I reflected on the whole thing and discussed it with others, it became apparent that he lost a lot of credibility he had built with the newcomers in the first part of the lecture with the introduction of the more "far out" stuff in the second part. They just simply were not ready for it.

Now I know it can be argued that one has to take the dive sooner or later and if you believe something to be true, you should put it out there and let it speak for itself and if they can't handle it, so be it, maybe they'll catch up later.

On the other hand, if he'd just stopped at part one he would have won a lot more converts and effected more change (if that is what he's trying to accomplish) at least on a short term level. I'm not saying either way is correct, only pointing out the difference.

I see the value of the different levels of information but I think care must be taken in defining them and perhaps buffer zones installed as well as it requires making assumptions about the viewer and that alone could possibly alienate someone in how it is put forth. I think the answer to this is in communicating the spirit or intent of why there is a need for levels in the first place and also reinforce the fact that it is a gathering space for info and is in constant flux as we grow and learn as opposed to putting out some sort of doctrine as some might see it on first exposure.

Gotta run now, Stephen

I'm really excited about the possibilities the wiki will offer. It's like open-source spirituality!

That sounds perfect. In talking about the need for levels, we could also talk about some of the thresholds through we've crossed on our own journeys which have led us to higher levels. I know that the "fear of being considered crazy" is one early threshold which must be crossed in order to progress. And since our initial curiousity usually concerns itself with the easily accessible material of daily life, (politics, society, religion, etc.) that would be a natural place to start--just like on the site Ayahuasca linked to.

A three-tiered system might be good to start out with. Or, we might want to introduce the levels once we've actually filled up the wiki a bit with some writing.

Re: An idea for a new site

Well, to be honest the idea of levels doesn't appeal to me. People take what is appropriate for them at this time in their path, it's a natural process. No one is "higher" than others, we are taking different paths pointing toward the truth. Maybe for someone knowledge of reptilians will come first and for someone else it will be spiritual principles. Also it seems that this idea would imply that we would have to write some things "for a lower level", which would imply that we somehow hide some parts of the truth (with "buffer zones"). Everything has its places, I don't feel we need to do something which appeals to everyone. Such a process feels very manipulative in nature, as if we tried to control the laws of nature, which can't be STO. Also we do best to apply and spread the "highest" knowledge we have, because this is what will truly help others. Who we will attract then is other "truth travellers", not disciples looking to be "enlightened" by someone else. Personnaly I love simplification, but I think it must be applied to all "levels".

Anyway I'm just ranting as this subject interests me, don't take it personnaly, but I would love feedback.

I do understand your point. I think we are getting into the zone where words and semantics become problematic as the wrong term can contain uninteded implications. The term 'level' is perhaps not the best to use (I'm kinda tired of it anyway as in '"let's take it to the next level"-bleh). In a way it may imply a judgement or assumption on someone's part (in this case the site) where somebody is saying "OK, you understand that much, now you're ready for this". I definitely think this is to be avoided and agree that there is no higher and lower and that each individual has a unique contribution. Sharing and valuing those contributions is what makes this such a cool place.

Perhaps a better word for "Level" would be "section", which would not have those connotations attached to it. I am sure that as the wiki grows the need for sections will arise for organization anyway.

Also, "buffer zone" may be a bad choice for a term for the same reasons.

Instead of "buffer zone" perhaps "path" or "connection" or some other term could be used. This is where I thought it may be helpful to hear what caused others to make realizations along the way and where the "truth factor" of someone sharing a personal experience could shine through. Sometimes just knowing that there are others out there that think like you can be a lifesaver. How this could be incorporated in the wiki, I don't know. I'm not trying to over-complicate things either.

Perhaps just a link to related information in another "section" could be provided. Such as, if you liked this -then check this out. This of course requires an assumption about the reader on the site designers part but the reader has a choice to follow it or not. After all, it is words on a website here, a somewhat 2D medium. As long as the reader understood the intent of giving the information in the first place I would hope they would forgive a 'gentle' assumption.

Re: An idea for a new site

Best just organize it into sections. As was previously noted, most people can grok the political and social aspects to all of this. It isn't hard to understand how and why the financial elite are able to control the world, and how traditional media outlets are just shilling for them. There are other sections that people shouldn't bother with until they show interest in it, namely the more "supernatural" aspects of it: higher dimensions and spirit realms, alien involvement, reptilian entities, occult secret societies. This organization would be inherent in the structure of the Wiki which we'll all be getting a chance to help shape and build.
