Check out this McDonalds ad. In the ad, people are criticizing the dollar until a coworker walks in with a cheeseburger. He tells them he got it from the McDonald's dollar menu. Then everyone says the dollar looks strong.

Why would McDonalds even bother putting this information out? This is something that would only cause less confidence in the economy.

Just goes to show that advertising types are a shameless bunch of
unethical prostitutes.  I know this because I used to work in advertising
agencies.  At least I worked in the art and design end of it.  But I
found that I didn't have the cut throat shark mentality to make a
career of it.
I still remember the local hero in France who took a bulldozer and
demolished a McDonalds that was being built.  Right on.

But wait, the massive beef farms are subsidized, are they not?

I read somewhere recently that this is how China is able to export a product that costs
$10 at Mal-Wart, when it likely cost double that to produce. I've noted it myself on many occasions, just saying to myself, "how the hell can this be so cheap?"- when it's obvious that the item in question would have cost 2-3 times more were it made in the US.

Also, the sublim here seems to be, that if we all run out and buy their 1 dollar double-deathburgers, the economy will be rescued.
MM I'm salivating just thinking about it...
2 all (GM,BGH,MSG) beef patties from a giant dust farm in SoCal, I think they may even feed MSG to these poor cows, who knows, that could be where Mad Cow came from. Cheese assembled in Mexico, with more resemblance to plastic than an actual dairy product. Lettuce probably grown over a local landfill/compost heap, and do I dare mention their "special" sauce...

So yeah, I'd say everything is OK. Hell as long as we can afford to eat at mickeydees, I'm lovin' it!

I heard the quote "Not a single person can afford to eat a happy meal". Also Deathburgers, awesome. I read a book called Exitotoxins the Taste that Kills by Russel Blaylock, a neurologist looking at the effects of MSG and Aspartame on the mind. He found horrible effects on our brains from MSG, any fatass parent who feeds their kids this should take a look in this book to realize what a suckass parent they are, after all I don't think a parent in the right mind would fancy all the brain damage, emotional, and attention issues it induces. I see nothing but more truth about this stupid food chain, if you would give them the glory of being called a "food" chain. Cheese that resembles petroleum based plastics more than a dairy product, lettuce that is so shitty and wilted you thought it was grown over a landfill, special sauce that makes you gag, don't forget the buns that melts and decomposes if it's too humid outside, or how everything there SUCKS! Right on the money Ape X.
