Topic: Stop stepping on my flowers

greetings

No this isn't about gardening but about the image of a flower with petals unfolding in the sun as an analogy to spiritual growth and change. Each petal holds a promise, knowledge hiding inside each petal to be found. Some cause pain or consternation but each petal has to unfold to make the flower or the whole.

We've been noticing at work the past two weeks more than the usual snarling and growling among people and departments.  Or some of us are noticing it usually as we are dealing with the clean up.  Oddly enough this is creating connections with those take care of situation despite the snarling that were not as strong previously. hm... perhaps this is a growth experience:cool:

With those I work with generally all I can say is nearly full moon or sunspots or post holiday stress. However I'm guess there are other forces at work.

I find I'm a bit resentful of having my flower stepped on but I'm not ready to grow thorns to protect it. I'm finding the joy in simple progress where before I wanted everything instantly to change..myself. I sent my magic wand out to the cleaners and haven't been able to find it for years:D

Are others of you finding extra tension in your enviroment ?

And any methods of coping... other than ripping lips off(sarcasm)

From my all time favorite oracle deck ever, the Osho Zen Tarot:  (http://www.osho.com/Main.cfm?Area=Magaz … hoZenTarot)

"Courage"

"The seed cannot know what is going to happen, the seed has never known the flower.  And the seed cannot even believe that he has the potentiality to become a beautiful flower.  Long is the journey, and it is always safer not  to go on that journey because unknown is the path, nothing is guaranteed.  Nothing can be guaranteed.  Thousand and one are the hazards of the journey, many are the pitfalls - and the seed is secure, hidden inside a hard core.  But the seed tries, it makes an effort; it drops the hard shell which is its security, it starts moving.  Immediately the fight starts; the struggle with the soil, with the stones, with the rocks.  And the seed was very hard and the sprout will be very, very soft and dangers will be many.

"There was no danger for the seed, the seed could have survived for millennia, but for the sprout many are the dangers.  But the sprout starts towards the unknown, towards the sun, towards the source of light, not knowing where, not knowing why.  Great is the cross to be carried, but a dream possesses the seed and the seed moves.

The same is the path for man.  It is arduous.  Much courage will be needed."

"Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy shit ... what a ride!"  - Anonymous

I've been feeling some extra tension in my environment as of late. I think it is self inflicted though. I've been trying to figure out the best way of being. I think attachment is indeed the cause for staying inside the constant reincarnation loop of time and is the cause to suffering. Sometimes we forget that we must let go. Let go of ourselves and let go of everything. I've discovered in my meditations that just focusing awareness on yourself isn't enough. You need both awareness and the feeling of detachment and letting go. Whatever comes into your consciousness can simply be let go. All of those external thoughts and noise that come into awareness can simply be let go of, not forced out. When you let go of old ways of thinking, old fears, and old tensions then your inner being begins to unfold like a flower.

In order for a flower to unfold, energy must being moving from the center outwards. The act of letting go provides the necessary force to let ourselves unfold. The act of letting go and being detached in meditation allows energy to move from our chakras on outwards. This creates the necessary environment to let ourselves flower.

Letting go... it's so important. It let's everything feel right.

We do however live in a world of attachment where people attach hurtful meanings to what they say, and how we must be dependent on money, and all the other everyday hassles of everyday life. Simplification of life is thus very important. We should create our own sanctuary in life. A place where we can go and meditate. We are like cups filled with muddy water. When we go out in day to day life we get bombarded by nuances. If one is in a centered state they are above the nuances and can easily evade or let those nuances pass around or under them.

Strengthen your microcosm. Love. Knowledge. Faith.

I want to say how I deeply feel right now, and the response that arises from within is thank YOU.  Really.  Whoa!

Re: Stop stepping on my flowers

In search of me- and how I can help-?
sounds egotistical but learning to move away from only care of self to care of others.

Let go but still care and have compassion for ones self and others.
Empathy/compassion should not be forgotten in the search for spiritual growth; otherwise we still make the same mistakes and must relearn lessons over and over. I can’t help but to feel such when one has had so much despair in life the joy is not bright but life is cold and grey. Flowery words but words creating mental images work for me.

When I was in my teen the world was predicted to end soon ... Then why try? Waiting –living in shades of grey. Filling time with wishes…..hm….. more like demands. I want ! Confusion - trying to find excitement but not too risky excitement. Or plans that when the world ended- I would survive- I couldn’t understand why my mom said she’d paint a bull eyes on the roof so the bomb would hit us first. She didn’t want to live in a world or ruin and agony for all the “survivors” Waiting for the world end seems to be a waste of this life but I can’t feel what others are experiencing and can’t know their reasons. Anger is not helpful and spiritual smugness is not helpful but both are understandable

The last few years have been difficult but the choice of leaving vs staying and learning what I choose to learn in this life is important. I’m not sure you can learn in a vacuum… or at least I can’t. It is easy to feel centered when you don’t have distractions.
So all the challenges we face today including the end of NR.. (thank you Tom and all) are just learning tools!?

Re: Stop stepping on my flowers

It's no secret that our own chakras are etheric flowers placed within us.  Each pastel hued flower has a distinct number of petals and each gives out it's unique perfume of divine love.  As subtley beautiful as the aroma of a flower, each chakra wafts it's divine fragrance to all.  The chakras are the inner doors through which spiritual energy flows into each of our subtle material bodies and thereby into all subtle material planes.  It is the only way in which spiritual energy comes into the material planes.  We ourselves are the neXus of this divine flow of consciousness.  That is why we are so valuable to the spiritual- Self in these planes.  And why so much effort is made by the dark powers to entrap us into misqualifying that energy into distorted forms of anti- love.

"I AM the open door which no man can shut"  (the open door of each chakra is a two way street
                                                                                                                  between spirit and matter)
No man goeth unto the Father  (the I AM ... the highest- Self)

but by Me"   ( the 7 rayed christ consciousness which expresses through the 7 chakras)
