And bumper stickers and voting will miraculously change and fix this problem? No. It's going to take an outright mass awakening and revolution to change the rigged and deceptive system. And I don't see that happening.
This is just my opinion and two cents, but at best, what may happen is that Ron Paul's loss will be the final straw for a lot of people out there. The voting and bumper stickers and lawn signs themselves won't change anything, but it'll be a catalyst. The line will be drawn in the sand. Once you've roused hundreds of thousands of people into thinking about the idea of our flawed money system, the IRS, the Federal Reserve, illegal wars in other countries, big government over spending, and other issues, you can't just expect that all those people will go back to sleep, back to business as usual. Democrats went back to their complacent sleep after John Kerry "lost," feeling deflated and beaten, but Ron Paul supporters are a different breed. After being stirred into passionately supporting Ron and the issues he endorses, coupled with the way our country is tanking worse and worse with every passing year, they're probably not going to be content to just go back to accepting and perpetuating the flawed system.
The only thing I can predict is that he will lose. But what will happen after he does, I can't be sure. And I'll go on record saying that I think Obama will "win." He's bloodline, he's Democrat, he's half black, he equals the illusory change that the American public craves. But things can go in a lot of different directions in the next few years, and there are many possible upcoming events that can factor into the equation to shape where this country goes. Providing life on earth isn't severely wiped out courtesy of pole flips, ice ages, asteroid/comet impacts, and who knows what else, then we're looking at some severe economic problems, bare minimum. Our military is depleted, our economy is tanking, previously lower currencies have now overtaken the dollar and countries are dumping the dollar in lieu of the Euro and other currencies, the middle class is being wiped out, foreclosures are at an all time high, factories have been steadily closing for years en masse and shipping business overseas, imported products are the name of the game here, so, this country is going down the tubes, no doubt about it. There will probably be a lot of civil unrest should Ron Paul lose when his supporters are told that they need to just go back to sleep now, meanwhile as Obama raises taxes and keeps the system as it currently exists, with the Federal Reserve, the IRS, etc., intact. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Just sleeeeeeep.
So, maybe Vermont will finally go through with seceding after all instead of just threatening to every other year.
At least one Native American nation has already seceded, maybe more will follow suit. I know a guy who does his own form of channeling (still not exactly sure what his methodology entails) but what he was told was that there would actually not be "martial law" and round ups and camps all that hard core conspiracy talk you always hear about. He was told that the Federal government is basically going to come apart at the seams due to a series of economic problems centering on weather disasters and other issues that would drain whatever money this country has left, and states would be left to fend for themselves on an individual level. I thought that was very interesting, and had never even considered such a possibility. But possibly that's where things are heading, and maybe Ron Paul's loss will be one little piece that ties into that, a catalyst that causes people to think about cutting ties with the mainstream Federal government and the way it does things with printing money out of thin air, not backing it by anything, the illegal IRS, the Federal Reserve, etc. etc. And then who knows what issues - positive and negative - will come about as a result of all that. You know...invasion by China, etc.
My ramble for the morning.
