Topic: Happy New Year!

Forgive me if this rambles or anything a bit, because I'm a bit drunk, teary and shaky at the moment. I don't quite know what kind of alignment, equinox, solstice, or cosmic process this celebrates anymore, but whatever, its 2008, and so both my unconscious mind, posts on blogs and forums, and internet videos have told me will be a year of great change, so heres to a the year of change!

I've already started to change, i was watching a documentary about Che Guevara and how his experiences on his motorcycle in Peru changed his life. When it finished, I watched TV for a bit, and there was a program about a group of rich entrepreneurs giving money to, and helping in some poor African villages. At some point, i started to cry, and cried for about 10 minutes, it really made me value all I have.

To start 2008, let most of us on this forum realise how much we have, even if we know this world is under a lot of negative influence, we obviously all have access to a computer, a well built home, running water, electricity, loved ones and myriad other things we take for granted even though awakened, aswell as being awakened itself, whether through divine or interdimensional influenece or not. I'm not saying that you don't think about these things, or even have these things, but there are a lot of people who have it harder, both in this world and all the other more negative worlds. This is the kind of stuff that reminds us what we are standing up and fighting for. May 2008 be a year of change, and may that be a change towards the better.

I for one am going to do all I can. There must be something I can do, I don't know what I can do,  and I don't know how I can do it, but there must be something.

As Bob Marley says/sang, "Don't worry! About a thing! Cos every little thing, will be alright!"

"I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me, and following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been."

Re: Happy New Year!

I ate a sandwich that was oven-roasted over a pan with horseradish wasabi condiment + mustard! Quite powerfully delicious. And drank some thick, dark concord grape juice to wash it alllll down.... Happy New Years! '08... smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile smile

Re: Happy New Year!

You'll be alright Everbright.  That was one hell of a post from the heart.  Probably most of here can relate to that.  I didn't think you were rambling.  You're feeling all kinds of energy focusing on you now, and that energy is focusing YOU.  There is not a darn thing wrong with tears of gratitude.  I think the world would be a much better place if people experienced that on a somewhat regular basis   smile

Oh, and speaking of Che Guevara, rent the movie Motorcycle Diaries.  Very good movie about Che in his early days which reminded me of the documentary you mentioned.  But I think it is subtitled, FYI.

Happy New Year,

Love,  Ellen

Re: Happy New Year!

We certainly are blessed, Everbright.  As bad as things can seem sometimes, we have so much more to grateful for.

Here's to a year of taking time to recognize our blessings, and getting ever closer to the Source.

Happy 2008, my friends!

...And Spi, I hope the deliciousness didn't leave 3rd degree burns. Mmmm. smile

Cheers

Look... Wonder... Remember... Know

Re: Happy New Year!

No, no, don't worry. The sandwich wasn't cooked to perfection, it was sloppy.

I'm toasting to my good friend over the internet and slammed the cup while he bold and entered 'Lies and... Slanders!' I SLAMMED THE STYROPHOME CUP WHICH HAD GRAPE JUICE, BUT WAS ALREADY GURGLED DOWN WHILE HE TYPED - IT WAS DRAMATIC. THE SLAM. AND HE ENTERED THE MESSAGE.

Okay, now I'm acting like a weirdo. Anyways, I hope this year will be great. I started my spiritual path in October '07 and things been really opening up recently.

Though now I feel like I'm slipping off of 'higher' tasks, making big progress than into progress that goes ordinary and plain, I hope that's going to change. I want something big to happen for me.

Dont want to sound like a know it all here but you can't slip off of higher tasks by being here you have already accomplished your task. BTW Happy new year everyone smile

Re: Happy New Year!

My first plan for 08:

Get a job and a car.

WTF??

Oh, yes. It's what I need to do. Mainly to prove that I can 'master' material reality to a certain degree.

I've made money doing odd jobs for years, barely paying the rent. Now it's time for a little something different.

2008= 2+0+0+8= 10 = 1+0 = 1 ONE!!!

That means things go through straight and easy, like knife in butter!!!  We just need to be positive, and focus on what we want to happen.

That is actually what I watched, I did a hugely bad job of describing it lol. Real good movie.

I went looking on Amazon to see if Che had written any books, and I found this, do you think it could be disinfo or for real?

Amazon wrote:

Fontova gets right to the work of debunking familiar notions of Argentinan revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevera; by the end of the preface, he's pinned 14,000 executions on Guevera and credited positive portrayals to the public relations work of Castro and the laziness of biographers. The critical attack continues throughout, combining the testimonies of former revolutionaries and Cuban refugees to assemble a damning portrait of a man lauded by everyone from Jean-Paul Sartre to Jon Lee Anderson. According to Fontova, the real Che was "a revolutionary Ringo Starr" who "fell in with the right bunch and rode their coattails to world fame." Presenting a failed physician, an inept guerrilla and a hapless sycophant, Fontova adds insult to injury by claiming Che was "deathly afraid to drive a motorcycle." Fontova's charged language keeps things interesting, if occasionally dubious; midway through the book, after asserting that Che enjoyed killing dogs, Fontova concedes that, "You might put down your book here and think, this has to be propaganda." Though propaganda probably colors any consideration of this controversial figure, Fontova makes a convincing case that, in the words of one former political prisoner, "There was something seriously wrong with Che Guevera."

We need to escape matrix traps such as this Vatican gregorian calender and know in our hearts its all controlling illusinary BS. Its just now. As long as we think in terms of this is "new years day" or tuesday and the time is 4:30 pm in the year 2008 we are lost in false controlling matrix in this case put there by the vatican.
