^^^ What's interesting is I just read an article yesterday about Will Smith. For this movie, he didn't just have "creative input" or help with "script notes"..............he sat in a room with the makers of the movie for over 300 hours helping to write the movie itself, and came away from it saying that he "got the movie he wanted." Which also made him nervous, he noted, because if it flopped at the box office then it was going to be his doing, since he was responsible for what we ended up seeing. And that's interesting, because "I Am Legend" is based on a Richard Matheson novel from decades ago, which of course isn't going to remotely resemble the movie that came out. (not that that's a bad thing, as mentioned in my previous post, sometimes older books-turned movies need to be updated to be relevant for the times.) Will Smith is also a Scientologist, which in itself isn't a bad thing per se, it does have its good points that can be taken from it like any belief system. (Will also has a Christian background as well, and has studied other religions, so he doesn't seem as fanatical about it all as say, Tom Cruise.
) But I know that Scientology does not support "Big Pharma" practices with drugging and medicating the population (we now know this courtesy of Tom Cruise's infamous quotes regarding Brooke Shields taking meds for her post-partum depression).......and I'm thinking that goes for vaccinations as well. So considering Will's background, and knowing that he spent over 300 hours helping to craft the movie, and "got the movie he wanted" I guess I'm thinking that it's no surprise that the movie came out the way that it did, as noted in Barefoot Doc's post: "......population control, vaccinations and genetic modification, testing on animals, the dark rituals of satanic vaccinations making mankind demonic and the "cure" coming from the same school as the disease, mirroring the true practise of Big Pharma."
I don't know....people can say what they will about Scientology, but if Will Smith was responsible for this movie being about what it is, as noted above, then he's a very smart guy. Probably a lot smarter than people give him credit for. !
