I don't understand why you are so aggressive. You attack for no reason. You have yet to answer my questions. Obviously you don't want me to be nice. Ignore what you want to, take what you need.

By the way, a Haiku uses a 5-7-5 syllable count. I was not trying to write a Haiku.

Re: The Dead Series.

If anyone is interested in the real Paramahansa Yogananda then read  "the Autobiography of a Yogi".  [free e- book on the internet].  Unlike the imposter i just read in the above post, the book is actually decipherable and grounded.  The real Yogananda doesn't sound anything like a fluffy white cloud.

"Aggressive?" Me? I'm just your mirror. Enter that into your Echelon file, cupcake.

I guess I'm too ironic for my own good. Where's that sense of humor? What do you think "the worst Haiku ever," means?

And please stop emailing me. If you have something to say to me, here's the place to do it.

Oh, and I want to thank those from NR that have joined the Desteni Forums this weekend. Warms the cockles of my ice-cold heart!

Desteni cannot have the answers because there are no answers to be had when everything is one and equal to it's oneness and equality.

BRILLIANT!!! I knew you had it in you! Not that I ever said "answers were the Holy Grail of this, but also realize, there is no reason or purpose to life either. No "ascensions" (separation) or "levels" (separation) to "escape" to. No "God" (the ULTIMATE separation) either. Ha ha ha! You are making progress, grasshopper. Well done.

Destenian philosophy is kind of ironic.  They look out at the world and see separation with the reaction of striving for oneness and equality.  They create, in their own minds, the idea of separation that they so much abhor.  Everything is, has always been, and will always be one and equal.  But they see only separation and want to "fix" it with their version of oneness and eqality which is no thought, no action, no emotion, no growth, no creation, nothing.  Just sitting around breathing.  Desteni gives a clever twist on the true idea of oneness and equality but a twist it remains.

All things are one and equal now.  They were one and equal 380 billion years ago.  They will be one and equal 380 billion years from now.  Separation is an illusion at it's core.  But the illusion of separation serves a purpose for One and All to explore itself.  The desteni philosophy is nihilistic at it's core.  It sees all things as being separate.  Thus the end result of their idea of oneness and equality is a homogenous blob of breathing nothingness.

That's great if you want to slowly dissolve back into the non-vibrational potentiality of the infinite void.  As One we chose to create, expand, explore, and fill up that infinite void.  That doesn't mean that part of the One can't choose now to be a homogenous blob of breathing nothingness slowly receding to the non-vibrational state it which it came.  That can certainly be part of the exploration.  So long live desteni.  But I think it's a disservice to wrap that choice of nothingness in the idea of being the only choice available against a backdrop of illusionary separation.  It's just not honest.  Be honest and choose to be nothing as nothing.  Choose with a proud voice to not explore, not create, not expand.  Choose proudly to not choose anything.  You, as part of the One infinite essense, has that choice.

There's no requirement to insinuate that creation is wrong and needs to be fixed in order to choose non-creation.  There's no requirement to fix anything.  If you don't like the choices of other parts of the infinite Oneness then don't choose the same choices.  But don't turn around and try to take those choices away.  And don't try to use your own judgements of our illusionary separation as a means to do so.  Be what you want to be.  Choose what you want to choose.  And give you as God as All as other-selves the same respect.

Re: The Dead Series.

Good points z3n3rg.  I think destini misunderstands the concept of "nothingness" and from that misunderstanding come all the rest.

Yes the ALLGod is "nothing" ... ie. ... "no- thing" in particular but "everything" in general.  There is "no- one- thing" which defines God but God is the SUM of ALL parts.  God cannot be formulated by any defined "thing" but IS every defined "thing" and MORE.  God is "no- static- thing" but moves through everything.

From kid mongo's comments and z3n3rg's reply it appears Destini's misunderstanding includes the concept that to 'empty' the mind and emotions is to revert to nothingness and a state of non- activity.   Fair enough, a state of rest exists in God reality.  But really, if we can accomplish the stilling and 'emptying' of the mind and emotions we allow the spiritual Self to enter- in to our material vessels  [physical, mental and emotional] and direct the soul's activity.  As that happens more and more we find the spiritual- Self acting through us and expressing divine creativity in the material planes.  That communion is the most potent motive to action.  This is the divine intent for our incarnation in matter ... to be freewill co- creators with Spirit... that is, if we can still the carnal mind and uncover the higher- Will within.  God is no spiritual vegetable so, as God's issue, neither are we.  Our soul's oneness with spirit is the ultimate expression of creativity that gives life meaning.  It is the fulfillment of our reason for being.

Given that [according to kid mongo] destini dismisses all meaning to life, levels of consciouness, levels of reality, ascension etc as just illusions of separation, and given all these concepts actually do represent reality, then it appears to me that destini is in denial of reality.  It is not just ignorance when someone presents themselves as a spiritual teacher and says they know that "nothing" is the sum of life.  It's a fine way to start a conversation with us.   But to insist it means that all roads lead to the apex of nothingness and non- will is disingenius.   Surely, the surrender of the carnal mind and it's human will is a vaccum which our divine nature abhors.  IN COMES THE SPIRIT to ignite the soul's innate creative tendency to expansion.  "I nothing, Thou ALL".... in action in me now.

The indian branch of the black brotherhood sent their representatives to the west during the past few decades with the same nihilistic philosophy.   It had a certain comforting ring to it that some people found attractive.  Perhaps it is a lack of faith in one's self... in the ability to create well.  Perhaps it appeals to souls who's revulsion and aversion to life's manifestations has caused them to lose their nerve to create, ...  Souls who are traumatised by the karmic fruit of action and seeking refuge in non- being.  Like some modern buddhists, Destini and friends appear to misunderstand nirvana as a state of inactive "non- being". I venture to say that destini's misunderstanding sounds to me like it is similar to the suicidal impulse.  But the winds of the spirit are- a- blowin' anew  and we can feel it's passion for creation and recreation... internally in meditation and externally in physical action... in a balanced way.  This is the only antidote to death and the desire for ultimate non- being.  The creative Will of the river of life cannot be damned by a soul's refusal to join the creative flow.  It will only leave those who choose nihilism to wither on the vine, eventually to drop away and return to the elements from which they came.

"To him who hath, more shall be given,
To him who hath not, even that which he hath will be taken away"   [Jesus]

Becoming mulch and fertiliser can be avoided by embracing life.  Life is an active choice.  All we have to do is open our souls to the flow ... let spirit's impulse form divine thoughts in our mind and divine love in our feelings and let spirit influence our desire to create according to divine Will.  Amen.  Sermon over.

"Open our souls to the flow."

Yeah.

The universe exists as "levels" that must be ascended.

Uh huh.

What you call "Divine Will" is nothing more than opinion, since you can never prove "Divine Will" exists. You sound like a religionist. Why do you place such faith in "Divine Will," "Souls" and "flow?"

Quite amazing how you all call kettles, "black" and not even realize it. That's rich!
