Interesting Experience

Hey everyone,

I would like to share an interesting experience that occurred today while over at a friends house.

Out of boredom the three of us decided that we wanted to play Guitar Hero. I'm sure most are familiar with this game, if not, its a video game where you play as a "guitar hero" basically and you play the guitar parts to random songs, hitting a button that corresponds to specific notes that display themselves on the video screen. Very fun game although I have the notion that it's more than just a video game, and seems like a great opportunity for hypnotic suggestion, or preparation to suggestion.

Anyways beyond that during game play while I was watching the two of my friends play I had the idea to "visualize" myself playing the game even though there was no controller in my hands.  While I mentally did this my concentration began to focus intensely and it actually started to feel like I was playing the game even though I wasn't-or was I?

While I started to do this, it eluded me at the time, I noticed a dramatic increase in my friends' accuracy, who's screen I was currently concentrating upon.
When this happened my friend made the comment along the lines of "I feel possessed when I do things perfectly" and continued on with a laugh of satisfaction.  This sort of made me think for a second about what I was doing because even though I wasn't completely aware of it, there seemed to be subtle clues of a connection that was being shared between my friend and I. Such as, everything in the entire world eluded me except for the thoughts of myself playing the notes in my head perfectly. More so my fingers hitting the notes perfectly.  I looked at this as more of a practice run so I would be good to go when it was my turn to play.

But Anyways I didn't think to much of it and continued on with what I was doing.  After a few minutes of adjusting back to the patterns of the guitar notes I noticed my friends playing accuracy began to increase yet again to the point where she was hitting everything perfectly. Then the thought occurred to me again; there is a connection here. She even made another remark of her increase in accuracy.  So I decided to experiment.

If this was happening with one of my friends how about the other?  I began to concentrate on playing the parts to my other friends screen, in-directly focusing on his playing.  My intention wasn't to see if I could control him, but if somehow he was picking up on my thought patterns and they were somehow becoming manifest through himself on his guitar.  Sure enough, after a few moments of adjusting to his screen returning to that concentration he made the comment "HaHa now im starting to do it" referring to playing the notes perfectly.  I was shocked.  Were they really picking up on my thought patterns and because they were, they were able to somehow play the notes differently then prior to?

I didn't have an answer, but only another means of testing the idea.  How about if I can connect to both of them?  Will they pick up on that?
Sure enough it happened again.  As I did this, they both laughed simultaneously at how in sync they're playing was with one another.  Now I cant say for sure if there was a link between the three of us, but it sure came off that way. And I'm still contemplating the idea, but I thought I would share it here first to see what other members think about this little "incident" of mine.
