Topic: You are not meant to be free...

In my last thread, I discussed the illusion of freedom and the island of true freedom.  The island, as you may have guessed, was an allusion to Heaven.  Many of you wish for ultimate and unlimited freedom here on Earth, when the simple fact of the matter is that people could not handle it.  There are way too many people dependant upon the system, and for that reason alone, for the good of mankind, the system should remain in place.

I'm not saying you should be a total part of the system.  Physically, yes.  But spiritually and mentally you should not.  You should not seek to create disorder, as any true prophet has told.  Even Jesus Christ Himself preached against this notion.  Rather, we should seek inner peace and hope for the day when our souls are received unto Heaven.

Re: You are not meant to be free...

You might as well get down on your knees now.  Kneel before your King and pay your tribute.   Yours is the creed of a pathetic slave who deserves whatever he gets.

I'll fight to the end for the political prisoners of the world, and those unjustly oppressed, but I have no sympathy for those that knowingly choose to submit to and accept evil.

And the system will rage against you, and you will rage against the system, and spread rage...what a great concept....

John 2:15 - And making a whip of cords, he drove them all, with the sheep and oxen, out of the temple; and he poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables.

Matthew 10:34 - "Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword."

Some rage is good.

Re: You are not meant to be free...

Some rage, but He showed restraint.  He was not here to start a physical war, He was here to start a spiritual war, that is the "sword" He is referring to.

Remember when the Zealots were seeking His alliance to defeat the Romans, and what was His response to that?

Amen.

Re: You are not meant to be free...

The theme of this post is that yes....WAKE UP spiritually and mentally, BUT realize that physical resistance is futile...as all violence leads to is more violence.

Q: What should you do when someone walks up and slaps you across your cheek?

A:  Offer the other cheek.

The moral:  Physical violence is useless.

Re: You are not meant to be free...

Anger/rage is an energy which has its use, as long as we keep conscious awareness it can help a great deal in making positive changes. Love transcends anger, it does not repress it. IE you can use anger out of Love. Many new age disinfo teach people to keep calm and be "confident". Yet it's only when you really try to make a difference that you feel the full effect of the Matrix. Suddenly it's not an abstract concept. Some call it "karma", I call it the inner battle. Patience and calm are essential qualities, but the masculine part of us (all of us) need not to be denied. We have the power to make changes and we need to use it, because the world is not going to change by itself, but through us.

Re: You are not meant to be free...

G'day troopers!
Here's my 2 bob on the table... As freedom is relative to a perception of reality, you have as much as you allow yourself. Your physical boundaries may be externally imposed, but your freedoms are internally defined. i.e. Reality is an interpretation that exists primarily in the mind, everything you can imagine is real... for you... You have the freedom to do whatever you like and you have the responsibility to observe & respect the freedoms of everything around you for every freedom you deny externally will manifest internally, you will automatically deny yourself a freedom. Call it karhma or whatever, freedom is one thing you can't give or take for free, there's always a price.

So, we want our freedoms, Giving and taking freedoms means they will eventually run out or there may not be enough to go around unless we recycle, but that will prevent our 'progress' will it not? - So maybe the creation of freedoms... Anyone got any ideas on that?

Ermolai, DaWorFirzm...

I know exactly what you mean, but you are still not addressing the central theme of this post.  I'm saying that channelling anger into positive means is, of course, healthy for you and healthy for your surroundings; however, actual physical resistance is altogether worthless due to the ripple effect the system causes when such instances occur.

Violence is the root of increased violence, and once the cycle has been established, there is little one can do to try and mediate sides.  Once a violent act against someone comes into existance, and that act is retaliated upon, it is an inevitable circle of violence leading to no solution.

Just a reminder, to show you that we are all physically dependent upon the system (for now).  If you have been to a grocery store, a Walmart, any store at all, driven a car, rode a bike, woke up in a home/apt, gone to work, then you are actively participating in the system.  Not that you already didn't realize this, but I think to reemphasize it here would display how deeply dependent all of us still are on the system.  Even now, sitting and typing in front of this computer, I am actively participating in the Matrix Control System.  So are you, but it may not be so mentally and spiritually, which for now, is all you can ask for.  The only time I would encourage peaceful resistance to a system would be a New World Order (NWO).  At that point, I would most definitely encourage peaceful resistance and discourage physical violence as it will only make people go, "Okay, they were justified in taking him away because he physically retaliated upon solidier who simply wanted to hear him pledge allegiance to the NWO."  Take the same scenario and include peaceful resistance, and these same people will begin to see the injustice in the system.

Re: You are not meant to be free...

The topic said 'you are not meant to be free...' - I do not agree that with that statement and gave reason... Where exactly in my post did I stray from the topic IYO?

Not even nothing is worthless else it wouldn't exist, There is no existance without purpose.

"Just a reminder, to show you that we are all physically dependent upon the system (for now)." - This is not true, you have the choice to alter your reality and observe what ever freedoms you like, as I pointed out, whatever personal freedoms you have lost since you entered this world are a direct result of your personal choices along the way. - Your choices may have been influenced externally but they were made internally, by you.

Re: You are not meant to be free...

DaWorFizm,

So you are not dependent upon this system.  In that case, you must have already risen above the third dimension and are hacking into the internet through your mind.  You do not work as you can provide for yourself through creational energies.  You do not buy food at a store, or appliances at electronical outlets (like the computer you are probably typing on), you do not live in a house/apartment/condominium, as this would again show dependence upon the system.  Am I right so far?

Re: You are not meant to be free...

Nope, I am as important to "This System" as the next person, I'm not _dependent_ on "this system" as much as "this system" is _dependent_ on me, and you, and the next person. You can't have a system without participants. But if you don't like the system you are free to go somewhere with out one. We call it 'Going Bush" - That doesn't mean taking your country to war, it means leaving whatever you're doing to go live off the land and it's natural resources. It could even be referred to as "That System" considering the vast differences between "this" & "that" way of life.

What I'm saying is that freedom is in the eye of the beholder. e.g. I live in a body that has an independent travelling radius of an average 20-25 meters, yet I still believe I live a free existance because I do not confine my definition of my freedom to my physical capabilities.

I'd say what we have here is a difference of definition... Are you talking about individual or a collective freedom? Is your idea of freedom is not to have to go to the shop to get food? Not participate in the daily operation of your own & others well being? To exist as a floating entity void of material interaction?

Before I respond, could someone enlighten me on how to properly quote someone.  I used to know HTML pretty well but it's been awhile since I was in the eighth grade.

wmhaoi,

This forum actually uses it's own tags, not HTML

Click "help" at the top of any NR forum page and you'll get a screen of tags and instructions.

If you see a post you'd like to quote, click on the button that says "QUOTE" in the lower right hand corner of that post;  this will automatically navigate you to the reply box, and you will now see that person's quote in your reply box.   At the beginning and end of the post you're quoting, you will see the quote tags.

Now, if you'd like to address specific parts of the post one by one, instead of the whole chunk, then use those beginning / end quote tags to mark each sentence / section you want to address.   Your response then goes underneath each sentence / section you're quoting.

It's pretty simple.  Hope that helps.   If you have any questions, let me know.  smile
